I’ve gone here quite a few times over the last few years, both for dinner and just for drinks. They have great wings, cheese balls, fried mushrooms, grilled cheese, and ribeye sandwich. I’ve never had anything I didn’t like! The service is really hit or miss. I was there last night with a group of friends. Most of us ate dinner while others just drank. The server was really on top of it when we first came in, and kept good track of who was coming and leaving. Toward the end, she was very scarce. My beer and water were empty for about 30 minutes before the server came back. I like the outdoor area, except that people are allowed to smoke in there. I don’t like leaving smelling like an ash tray, but like being able to sit around the fire pit with friends.

Food was OK, the waitress we had was horrible. Very standoffish when we walked in and the service was SLOW!

Had the ½ burger with fries. The burger was slightly burned on one side and just right on the other. The fries must have come from the bottom of the bag as they were all small pieces. Reminded me of the bottom of McDonald’s fries. The bartender didn’t tell me there was a 2 dollar upcharge for fries. I had to ask for ketchup and he gave me an empty bottle an a full one. Why not just give me the full one? 2 staff members were drinking and eating at the bar. Not sure if they were off work, but they were in uniform. one of the staff asked how she did today(how much she made). Her last table were bad toppers but she did ok for the day. When I sat at the bar there was a guy grabbing his girl’s breasts. she playfully pushed his hands away where he diverted them to grabbing her ass. The waitresses serving the tables outside seemed to be bothered by getting drink orders at the bar. When I asked for the bill the bartender just told me what I owed. When I asked for a receipt he told me he could write it up. Do I really have to ask for a receipt? I most likely will not come back here.

Service and food are. … acceptable, the biggest challenge here seems to be over-staffing, too many servers standing around inside, not enough customers outside. One waitress was allowed to leave early, manager asked if she had any tables outside, she said” yeah, one and only got a dollar tip”. This was 45 mins after we arrived, and she had not been to her table once. Now they are talking about blisters and scabs. Brilliant.

If you smoke, this is the place for you. If you don’t smoke, don’t wear anything nice here because you’ll be getting it dry cleaned the next day. The outdoor area would be great. Unfortunately they allow folks to smoke in a covered space and within 15 feet of the door. The prices here are outrageous for this type of place. Id suggest Donnelleys right behind here for better food and value. And you don’t have to smoke.

First off I appreciated the old Kouri’s. The Kouri’s that was down the street. They move into the old Mulligan’s and lose their mind. Who still has carpet in a bar??? You are smacked in the face with old musk of smoking and stale beer as soon as you open the door. If you choose to sit inside instead of the closed in smoke pit they call a beer garden you are subjected to whatever the staff chooses to play on tv. Me and a friend were out during the Stanley Cup and was forced to watch the WNBA. Come on! Then you are completely overcharged! $ 16 for a pitcher of beer! We were told that was cheaper than individual beers but no we just had a waitress who didn’t feel like dealing doing her job that night obviously. Now I have heard a few times that the wings aren’t bad. Well, I can say in my experience we were bitch smacked with the smell of vinegar as soon as they came out the kitchen. It’s sad to see the standards of Kouri’s change. I had found memories there but it is a place I choose not to spend my money at ever again.

Hey Kouri’s Pub, I’ve been coming here for a few weeks now on Mondays for your 40c wings… first off wings are not bad, second off I don’t think I’ll ever come back again… why you ask? Because my server just told me that they will have to charge me for a god damn water because I didn’t get a drink with my wings. I didn’t really think anything of it the week before when the server told me my wings were cheaper with a drink! This is fucking bullshit! So freaking sorry that I gave up drinking! You blow! Totally telling everyone about this! Who the fuck charges for water?!? And $ 1.50 at that! I can go to the store and buy a whole gallon for less than a buck! Imagine if you opened in Africa and the kid was on a verge of dehydration… would you say… sorry son, you gotta die… waters $ 1.50 in this place.

Good wings but no drink specials. Bud light draft was fresh but 3.25 is a little hi for draft. Wings were good and only .40 each. Would be great bar if I was a smoker but I’m not. Went back Tues night and they had 2.00 domestic bottles. Much better. Ribeye sandwich was pretty good. Still very smoky. Definitely a smokers bar.

Ive been here a few times. The fikd isnt bad a group of us came here for a meeting during lunch. They had good specials. They have a heated outdoors but dont like the fact you can smoke in it. Staff seemed to be ok, prices for drinks a bit high but i dont go out much so it could of been competative.

If you like to smoke«indoors» this would be the place for you. Fairly priced drinks but considered higher for the Peoria area which isn’t saying much. The heated outdoor patio is what brings the crowd in to Kouri’s but nothing really special about the place.
