I go here every once in a while with some girl friends and we like to share a pizza, appetizers, and have a drink or two(I’m a big fan of their beer selection since there’s always something new for me to try). Usually we’ll do tavern bites(parmesan garlic fries are great) and a create-your-own pizza. Chicago thick crust with the roasted garlic sauce(yum!), Italian sausage and spinach for toppings. The last time we went, our server was phenomenal, very sweet and attentive. She definitely made the experience worthwhile.

Pass on Old Chicago. There are better choices in the area. For a large chain restaurant it was very disappointing that Old Chicago does not make their own salsa. If I had to guess I would say it’s Tostinos salsa. There was a long wait for the chips/salsa. I will not complaint about the beer prices because if you go to a chain restaurant you should expect to pay something like $ 3.70 for a bottle of Bud Light. That being said I ordered the craft beer flight which comes with four 4oz glasses. The bartender did not tell me which glass was which beer. The wooden paddle the glasses rest on were numbered 1 – 4 but there was nothing to reference those numbers to. That was ridiculous and amat «Side salad» was like $ 4.30…yes I said the dinner salad was over $ 4.00. Lettuce, croutons, shredder carrots and dressing should run no more than $ 3.00. The dressing(honey mustard) and croutons were good though. The salad was brought out with the salsa. We ordered the Mediterranean pizza with ale crust as our entrée. Wanted a medium but it was either an individual size or a large so my wife and I had to get the large size. The wait for the pizza was REALLY long. Probably about 40 minutes. We finished the chips/salsa and salad and still had to wait over 20 minutes for the pizza. During this time the waitress did not come back to see if we needed anything else or update us on the status of our order. The pizza arrived and we literally had to eat each piece with a fork and knife. There was SOMUCHOIL on the pizza that when I picked a piece up the end of the pizza just oozed off onto the plate. The pizza tastes ok if you do not mind oil saturated slices.

I love the food here, it’s always very good BUT every time I come here we have to wait ATLEAST1.5 hours to get our order no matter what time of day or how busy it is. Great food but awful service, and I think good service is more important than good food

Love the pizza! One of my most favorites! Place is clean and friendly staff! I love that they stay open late! They have plenty of booths and tables. Very sweet place!

Food is decent and what you would expect from this type of establishment. I think a crack down on the male servers with neater hair styles would be nice as well as the restaurant investing in bug zappers to get rid of the fly problem.

Lunch buffet was pretty good. Worth the price. Service was marginal at best. In attention and prioritization issues.(A guest with no silverware and napkins with a hot plate of food should probably have that resolved before clearing a table when not nearly at capacity, same with delivering the check to an obviously finished Table versus clearing tables.)

Service needs work. Big time. Manager is a mess, clothes not professional. Bartender is either new or needs a lot of help. Could have been a whole lot better. Kitchen was solid, food was good.

Came here on 3÷14÷2015(Saturday) around noon or so We arrived, and were told there was a ~20 minute wait, or we could go to the bar, so we headed to the bar. We sat down, and were greeted quickly by the bartender, who gave us menus and said she would be back to help us in a bit. She came back, and we ordered our drinks and food, and she walked away. We ordered an Artichoke dip Appetizer, and a reuben sandwich to share. Artichoke Dip: The platter came with a variety of veggies, and garlic bread which were delicious and fresh. The artichoke dip itself, however, was less than exciting. It was a bowl of sour cream with a few small pieces of artichoke in it. Nothing too exciting Reuben Platter: The reuben came with the sandwich, and fries. It was a very good tasting sandwich, but the meat seemed like more of a lunchmeat than a fresh cut. Not a big deal, just something I noticed. The app and meal came together for some reason, which the bartender apologized for. We ate, had a few more beers, and then paid. — — — — — — — — — — – Service — 4⁄5 Food Quality– 5⁄5 Serving Size — 4⁄5 Speediness — 4⁄5 Atmosphere — 4⁄5 Overall: 4⁄5 — — — — — — — — — — — Suggestion to business: There seems to be a disconnect between your kitchen/chef, server/food runner, and bartenders. Pizza is good, but that is all I can recommend. Everything else I have tried was disappointing!

We came on a Saturday night. It was very busy. We didn’t get waited on right away. Chase(our server) noticed any took our table. He was excellent. Couldn’t have asked for better service. The manager checked on us too. because Chase informed her of our wait. He even gave us a complimentary cookie dessert because of our wait. Which was unnecessary, but appreciated. We will be back, and hopefully have a server of Chase’s caliber.

Get a Gluten free menu already. It’s not like this is anything new. I know that you serve a lot of pizza and pasta dishes, but it would be nice if they would make a separate menu so I don’t have to dig through the large one just to see all the things I CAN’T eat. Me and my husband went there recently and when I asked for a Gluten free menu, the three hosts at the front looked at me like I had grown a second head. Honestly, not a new concept. Their food is okay, but if you have food allergies, don’t bother. The menu is pretty much limited to salads. On the other hand, my husband loves this place, but mostly for the large beer selection. He does enjoy the food, but I think the beer menu is the highlight for him.

We decided to go to Old Chicago 1. We were hungry, 2. It was listed as one of our friends favorite places in Peoria(We were in the area for their wedding). We tried it out and it was great. The server understood we were in a time crunch and had great service the entire time. The pizza was delicious! And the prices were decent. I would definitely go there again. You come here for feeding, not food in a culinary sense. Just another burger, pizza, wing, fried something place like there are unfortunately so many in usa

Pretty great craft beer selection and good food! Our server could have been a little more attentive or knowledgeable on beer, but it was the end of the night and she probably wanted to go home :) I will be back!

I have always really liked this place; I think it is similar to an Applebee’s. My family loves the Strombolis, I also love the salad with cranberries, apples, walnuts, and creamy dressing. Mm. I like that the booths are big with plenty of space for some big plates :) service is always fine as well. O, and don’t forget to try so, e of their root beers, they have a ton of them!

Great overall resturant! We love the deep dish pizzas! We are there today and had great service and great food! The location itself is clean and spacious! The beer selection is the best I have seen at anywhere locally. The bar is always busy to prove that.
The appetizers are fantastic we love the buffalo rolls! And the pepperoni rolls. Highly recommended!

My review is for carry-out since I am normally calling up Old Chicago on the weekends for some unhealthy grub to counteract my hangover. First, they have discontinued their thin crust which is very strange. They have replaced it with a medium crust that gets super soggy and grease-logged in a to-go box. So now my absolute favorite Hawaiian pizza is forever ruined. Second, they have the heat in their warmer up way too high so it continues cooking the food as it’s waiting to be picked up. I had an order of wings that were so incredibly dry and tough, it was like they had been microwaved. Some of the legs were almost completely solid and inedible. It didn’t help that when I got to their pick up window, there was an issue with their computer that was taking 4 teens standing around staring at it to get it solved. That added another 10 minutes onto the time my wings were drying up in their warmer. I might give them another try if I’m planning on eating in, but their to-go menu is going in the trash… along with those inedible wings!
