What’s Fresh?

Tried this place for the first time! We ordered the chicken and black bean chipotle burrito, and the turkey sandwich! Both were phenomenal. I’m really impressed and love the concept of all local products. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back for some fresh food!
P. S. The pickles are the best! Yum yum :)

What’s Fresh? — Food Truck Thursday
Holy crap! I’m not usually a cold sandwich type of guy for food truck Thursday but on the recommendation of a friend I had to try it. Warren, the executive chef and owner of What’s Fresh?, crushed the competition today.
I was immediately greeted by a very friendly smile, none other than the owners Mom. Yup, Warren’s mother. This is the lady who makes the pickles for their sandwiches and wraps. I ordered the porktastic sandwich with the hope that it would be good.
Unwrapping this meal I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of bread Warren uses for his sandwiches. The mustard used on it is the perfect complement to the fresh greens and pork. The explosion of flavors complimenting each other was absolutely awesome!!! Fresh tomato, a fresh mix of greens (baby spinach is always good with pork) and those pickles. Pickles! Crisp with a lot of flavor! I loved it!
Just so you know, for the $ 8 you not only get the sandwich but a bag of chips and a drink. That’s $ 2 less than any other food truck on the street. I guess fresher is better!
While Warren and his wife Bonnie have only been working the food truck for 4 months, it is definitely a hit around here. Whether it’s a sandwich or a wrap, it will always be fresh and delicious.
If you get a chance to catch What’s Fresh, make sure to tell Warren to ride his bike more often! Yes, he rides. In fact, he was proudly representing a local ride t-​shirt. Support a local biker who uses locally sourced ingredients. Feed your face, and be good to one another.

The What’s Fresh food truck pulled up, setup and were ready to serve the 40+ guests at my 50^th Birthday Party right on time!
I was excited about their menu of meal choices that are all fresh, locally sourced and organic. And I knew it was going to be good.
But it was delicious! Warren and Bonnie; your What’s Fresh Food Truck was the hit of the evening! Everybody absolutely loved everything! My salad loving friends were amazed and delighted! My sandwich and wrap friends loved every bite! Your Porktastic Sandwich was truly delicious!
And your specially prepared potato salad was phenomenal!
I can’t say enough good things about the investment we made in hiring What’s Fresh! You made my birthday party the hit I was shooting for!

Best dang pork sandwich I’ve ever had. Why? Fresh baked roll, home-​made pickles, and Chef Warren brines and bakes his own meats instead of using frozen, pre-​packaged stuff. You don’t normally think «gourmet» when you think about a food truck. Well think again! Chef Warren ain’t servin’ no corn dogs or fry bread. This is the real deal. I’ve had his sandwiches and his wraps and both are just fantastic. I met Chef Warren when he was cooking for the homeless soup kitchen in Durango. They never had it so good. Now’s YOUR chance to see what this culinary trained master can do out of a converted ’79 Southwind RV. Heisenberg’s cookin’ doesn’t even compare! Besides, Warren’s got ORGANIC and VEGETARIAN options.
