I’ve been kickboxing for a few months now and the difference from where I started to where I am now is absolutely amazing. My cardio stamina is getting better, but the increase in strength is the best part. When I started, I couldn’t hardly do a burpee(let alone ones that have pushups and jumps each round), or even a normal pushup… Now I’m able to keep up with a ton of the things we do in class! While it sounds stupid, one of the biggest things I notice is moving in bed.(No not that — get your head out of the gutter!) The first thing in the morning I can actually sit straight up in bed without using my arms and no longer have to «roll» out of bed(literally). It’s fun, keeps me accountable, and I’m having great results. Plus it’s cheaper than a personal trainer and is unlimited workouts included with the price! They send you intermittent surveys to make sure everything was good with your workout. You have the chance to give positive or negative feedback, and they’re extremely responsive to any issues you may have. Finally, my cholesterol, low density cholesterol, and triglycerides have always been wildly out of whack. I just got my yearly lab results back and my numbers are the best they’ve every been, and by significant amounts. Part of this is partially me eating much better, but this was sparked by the daily health tips from the ILKB staff.

I tried to sign up but was told you cannot wear any type of shoes. Having foot issues I am not able to run and jump without shoes. It sounds like a great class and just what I was looking for. Very disappointed but I understand.
