This is my go-to place when I can’t decide what I want for dinner. My tip: sit at the corner of the bar. It’s like your own secret nook! I’ve literally had everything on the menu. You can’t go wrong.

This place is spot on with their menu. Every time we go I feel we can’t try enough. And the owner is the son of Beirut, so you know the recipes come from the heart. Would highly recommend.

My son came home from California for the holidays and we decided, against better judgment, to take the family to Poco Piatti. Once again we were beyond disappointed. The service was extremely slow, and the food was as cold as the restaurant was. Throw in that they wouldn’t accept our groupon because of a «holiday blackout» and needless to say our experience was pretty terrible. It’s sad to think how bad this place has become, especially thinking back to that humble little restaurant that they were(when out on Monroe street) with excellent food and service. Today it is just an overpriced meal full of bite-sized portions of cold food. Sad. The last few times we’ve gone, we say it will be the last … This time might have proved to be the nail in the coffin.

Would have loved to checked out the food, but unfortunately this place is ran by incompetent people. We were in town to visit family for the holiday, we wanted to eat before choosing not leave our hotel, Hilton Garden Inn(in the same shopping center). I called to see how long the wait was and the hostess stated there was no wait. We left the hotel and drive there instead of walking since it was raining. It took us all of MAYBE3 minutes to get there. When I walked up to the hosts stand and was told there was a 30 minute wait. I don’t appreciate being lied to or being taken advantage of. I will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone, especially my family, they deserve better than this substandard service.

Service was slow on recent visit and there was only one other table eating at 5pm. The food is the worst. Chicken kabobs were burned. Salad was over dressed to the point where there was a soup of dressing at bottom of the bowl. The meat grape leaves lacked meat, and the taste was bland. No one in my party ate more than a half plate of their meal it was so unappetizing.

My girlfriend and I stop by Poco Piatti on occasion when we find ourselves at Levis Commons. The tapas menu is nice when we want some variety in our meal, and overall the food is quite good, even if there are a few misses here and there. Some of our favorites include the lamb sliders, which are nicely seasoned and topped with a cream cheese spread, and the saganaki kasseri, which is flamed tableside and always a sight to behold. We also enjoy the lamb osso bucco, kebabs, and beef marsala. Accompanying these plates is pita bread baked on site in a classic oven. The bread is warm and fresh and an excellent addition either with butter or for dipping. Poco Piatti also generally has a few weekly specials, and when we have ordered them they have been quite good, as well as a nice complement to the regular menu. On the other hand, a few of the other dishes are less impressive. The kafta is too salty and dry, the ari-yes halabi a bit bland, and the steak tacos tough and oversauced. However, most of the menu is tasty, and the small plates mean one subpar dish is unlikely to ruin a meal. Although we are not big drinkers when we go out to eat, we have occasionally partaken here, and Poco Piatti has a solid beer, wine, and cocktail menu with enough variety and seasonal offerings to keep things interesting. While we haven’t had any issues with the service, Poco PIatti has a lot of exposed stone and brick and can get quite loud when crowded. The tables are also close together and you can sometimes feel a bit cramped when the person behind you pulls their chair out. We personally enjoy going during off hours so that we can avoid the clutter, order a bit at a time, and enjoy the food in a leisurely manner. Overall though, Poco Piatti is a fun restaurant and one we plan to keep in our regular rotation.

Awesome gluten free menu! So good, in fact, that I snatched a copy of it and shoved it in my purse! The service was great, the server smiled the whole time, the place was clean and the food was timed perfectly. A very nice experience! I was too busy eating that I forgot to take pictures!

We love this place! The food is always excellent and the service is great! We average about $ 50 for the both of us non drinkers. Pretty good for high quality food!

Visited for the first time during a Friday at lunch, expected it to be busier especially since it was Restaurant Week but we easily got a table. Both of us ordered from the RWT menu which consisted of four courses. The roasted garlic and feta dip was amazing, I wanted to dip everything in it! My friend said the hummus was alright, nothing special. The next course was Shrimp Saganaki, loved every bite and was scooping the garlicky sauce up with pita. The beef lollipops were lackluster– a bit chewy and overdone but good seasoning. Dessert was vanilla crème brûlée which was a nice sweet finish to the savory meal. As for service, with only two waitresses it was a little on the short side. My water glass was never filled, my friend gave me his.

This place is soo horrible… U don’t want to waste time in it… The waiter was soo rude for absolutely no reason and the entrees r jokes … Cold with no taste whatsoever… Believe me I’m not much of a complainer and u can check my other reviews, they are 95% positive and praising businesses everywhere… But GOD! This place I couldn’t help my self not to write a review to help others not wasting their time as i did today :(

Hmmmm. Where to start? This was one one of my go to places in the past, but I had moved on. I decided to make a trip there recently and was sadly disappointed. The prices had risen but were not supported by dish sizes or quality. The falafel salad at $ 10 featured THREE quartered falafel which encircled about ¾ cup of chopped vegetables. The lubia which used to be delicious was oily and flavorless. And to add to this, there was an incessant banging in the back which at one point made it impossible to hear the wait person. When I asked if there was construction in the back she informed me it was her boss chopping vegetables. The wait person was attentive and polite.

Great place. I work in Levis Commons so I’ve been going here for years. Service is important to me and I can say over all the years I’ve been going here the service has been nothing but perfect. Attentive and kind wait staff. Some of my favorites from the menu are the grape leaves, shrimp thia lasagna, poco tips, Greek salad, fattoush, and chicken shish tawook. I don’t order these often but the pizzas are great. Their sangria is wonderful as well. Great food, service, and atmosphere. It’s a must try venue.

This was my first time here around 6pm on a Sunday evening as I was in town for one night only on business. I love middle eastern/Mediterranean fare, and having that heritage, view myself as rather having an opinion that counts. As far the restaurant overall is concerned, it wasn’t busy, service was great. Clean, airy, with prompt and courteous servers. I tried two dishes: the Ara-yes Halabi, and the Cabbage Rolls. These two $ 6 plates came with complimentary home made pita-ettes(pitas about the size of your palm) with garlic infused olive oil. The garlic olive oil was amazingly delicious. Great olive flavor, nicely balanced with the garlic infusion, and not too oily. I really could have drank that! The Ara-yes Halabi was divine — nicely seasoned and came with a delicious and creamy hummus. I really loved it. Although, six bucks for a dollop of hummus and four finger-sized meat filled pitas was not a great value. The cabbage rolls were a huge disappointment. My family makes these, and I’ve eaten them in many restaurants. They are kind of a staple in my household. The biggest gripe is that for six bucks, there was barely any meat in them. They were mostly rice filled. Usually, rice or some grain is added to the meat as an extender and to help bind the meat. In this case, it was mostly rice. As far as taste — it was well seasoned and tasty. The tomato sauce that they topped it with was way too sweet. I don’t know what it is with restaurants adding sugar or using tomato sauce with sugar in it these days, but it really threw me off. That said, the cabbage itself still had some crunch, indicating that it was cooked perfectly. All in all, that and two beers, was about $ 27 including a 20% tip. I was well sated from an appetite perspective, so I can’t complain that for what I paid, I went hungry. It just seemed very pricey for what you got. If I come here again, it will be to try their Kibbe Nayee — another traditional dish that I love. Other than that though, there’s nothing here to attract me considering the prices for what you get. Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food is really inexpensive, well-seasoned food. Nothing here was«specialty» class commanding that kind of price.

Foods ok, the Beirut is better as far as Lebanese. The open air dining room means it’s very loud.

We have been going to this restaurant for years, however with the recent menu change, I would now say it has reached 5 stars. Food is simply fabulous. A few of my favorites are the shrimp lasagna — sauce is to die for, and the seared scallops. Everything on the menu that we sampled, which was about 8 dishes, we loved. The sangria is also some of the best I have ever had. They keep the red and white both on tap, as they have such a great demand. Considering the quality of the food, the price was very reasonable. After multiple cocktails, and plenty to eat, bill was about $ 35 per person. Really looking forward to going back. Please note the service was very good, and the ambiance, while very nice, is nothing outstanding. The food is what makes it so special.

I would have given this 5 stars but we had an unfortunate incident the last time(can happen anywhere) LOVETHEMIXEDSANGRIA and tiramisu. Absolutely love the mixed sangria. Food is good and expected. Open table for online reservations is nice. One of my favorite places in the Toledo area. Chicken bites and hummus is great and the warm feta dip is to die worthy.

Pluses: 1) Good food, I love the lamb shank and the kebabs 2) Decent pricing for liquor(house wines) Negatives: 1) Unnecessarily pricey for the food 2) Lousy service(one waitress for almost all tables, and generally very inexperienced staff).

I went here because I had bought a groupon. I am sure happy I had it! Poco Piatti serves Mediterranean food and pizza, which I guess is Mediterranean? Kind of? Ok, so it’s Italian. I was just thankful for the pizza because it gave my 2 year old an option, although it was $ 9. I was disappointed they really didn’t have anything for children, and the restaurant had at least 4 tables that had children at them. The food was pretty good, but I thought it was quite overpriced compared to its competition. My husband and I both had 2 shush tawook that only had 3 pieces of meat on each and the dinners were $ 15. Why? I realize I sound like a complete cheapo in this review, but for $ 60(without tip or groupon discount) seemed quite steep. I can get a much nicer meal for the price elsewhere. I won’t come here again unless I have a groupon. I will be at Byblos when I have a hankering for Mediterranean.
