We stayed overnight in Petaluma and stopped at Java Hut for some coffee and snacks before heading to Point Reyes. We were thrilled that they had breakfast burritos and sandwiches too(yumm). The coffee is delicious. The employees were the best part. Hadas and the other girl(didn’t catch her name) were so friendly, upbeat and helpful. It started our morning off with the perfect energy. We actually went back through for two more burritos to take on the road and to get one more friendly laugh and smile. As a business manager I know the value of hard working, friendly employees, a good product or service that stands out & great customer service. Java Hut has it all. Mostly thanks to Hadas and the other employee. I swear I might even go back if the coffee was mediocre. Luckily it was delicious!

I LOVE coffee drive throughs. You can never have too many IMHO. I use the EV chargers there at the Target mall :) and on my way I drive through the Java Hut and fuel up literally on the breakfast burrito and coffee. The gals there are cheerful and efficient, the line always moves along and I am kind of addicted to the bacon breakfast burrito and au lait combo I have going. I have to charge my car later so I am planning to make a detour there on my way!

I looked forward to getting my coffee every morning when I lived in Petaluma! The girls at the hut know what I like and had it ready for me before I even pull up to the window. Since moving to Santa Rosa I have yet to find a place like the Java Hut! I always make sure I stop by for my favorite drink every time I go back to Petaluma.

Java hut is the best, I work right next to a star bucks and at lunch time I drive in the worst petaluma traffic, you know over that over pass wear it takes 15 min to go 500 yards, so my girls can make me the best blended mocha in town. You rock java hut, love your service !!!

First time I go here I order a laté and a bagle, come to find out they don’t toast it or even put the cream cheese on it, which if you’ve ever tried to drive to work and spread cheese on a bagel it’s not easy by any means. The coffee was… well it was coffee I suppose but nothing fantastic, I’ve had much better at dutch Bros plenty of times. So I skip the food for my next time through and just order a drink and use my reusable cup to save the planet and what not. I then simply asked if they could rinse out the cup, apologizing for the smell of day old Tea and milk I had forgotten about the night before. She said sure, but when the cup came back I looked inside and there was the old cream from my tea the day before and when I smelled it it smelled like tea and curdled milk… now I get it, it’s gross to clean out someone else’s cup, but maybe put up a sign that says clean cups only, or if you’re stomach really can’t handle it just offered in a regular cup, I would have gladly accepted. But instead, since there was a huge line behind me and I pulled forward a few feet, I didn’t have the time to get a new one. So I dumped it out right then and there, a total waste of my money but a cheap lesson learned to never go back.

This place is pretty disappointing. I’ve tried it a few times because it’s close to my house any every time I ask my myself why I came here again. I order a bagel with cream cheese and get handed a cold bagel with a tiny container of cream cheese. «Could I get it toasted, please?» I ask. «We don’t have a toaster.» Ok… So people on the go just eat cold dry bagels with a teaspoon of cream cheese? Another time I’ve gone, the woman was rude and seemed annoyed when I asked what one of their drink specials was. She went on talking to her friend inside and barely looked at me when I ordered. It’s bad enough that all of those times plus one or two others the coffee has been inconsistent and bland. Either too watery, too spicy or too milky. I’ll stop being lazy when I want coffee and walk into a local shop instead to avoid this place.

Run away. These people are rude and have no customer service. I always like to support local business but this one, no way.

Love the drive thru with my kiddos– too much effort to get out of the car, get the stroller, etc. I got their white chocolate frap and it was very good! I will definitely go back!

Great coffee. Fast service. I just wish they weren’t «cash only». It is especially convenient since the Starbucks on Washington St does not have a drive-through.

Stopped by on our way back from SF and were pleasantly surprised to find out they had something OTHER than Oregon Chai! This is a huge win in my book. The young girl working there was also extremely patient, helpful, and kind. The prices were the most reasonable I’ve seen in a… Forever. She told us to come back soon and I genuinely wanted to, I live in another town but this will be my spot whenever I’m near Petaluma.

Great service, yummy coffee, treats ans pastries for the kids, and Italian sodas too– all on the fly! Pass Starbucks and peets to come here and my latte is worth it every time.

Java Hut is the best little drive thru coffee place. The service is astoundingly quick and friendly. They have hot food(I’ve never tried), and pastries, too. But best of all? Their lattes are off the hook. Every time. Never burned, never weak. My only complaint is that I can’t hang out there. :)

Great coffee stop, excellent service and tasty coffee. Went here on thanksgiving and to my surprise the gave me the drink on the house. I ordered a decaf with cream and sugar and was very happy with the order. Will definitely support them more often.

My «go-to» place in Petaluma for any coffee drink. Great service, and they custom make your drink like you like. One Unilocaler complained about the no credit card policy. Do you think you need to charge a $ 2.25 cup of coffee. Seriously! They want to keep their costs down, and not absorb the outrageous % they charge to process. This isn’t Starbucks or Peet’s, folks. It is home town non-corporate enterprise. Give the locals a break, and get a good cup of coffee to boot.
