This Starbucks was clean and well kept. Everyone at the store was very polite and I really didn’t have to wait long to get served. As far as location this isn’t really the best place to sit or work, it’s sort of awkward in the corner of the Target, and although it has a number of tables I didn’t see outlets by any of them. So basically it’s just OK, the quality is no worse that an average Starbucks but the location certainly lacks.

Horrible woman working there on Monday night. Made me the weakest tea, it looked like water with a ton of ice. I will never go back! Washington street has the best staff and teas!

I was planning on being a regular here since I work close by, but the staff hasn’t gotten it together despite being open for a few months now. Simple coffee drinks take a minimum of 5 minutes(yes, I’ve timed it), and 10+ if there’s a person ahead of you. They really, really, really need to train their baristas better or staff the café with more people, because it’s pretty much impossible to grab a quick pick me up on a 10 or 15 minute break.

2ND visit(and last) on 8÷5÷13. Same litter, stuff all over the floor, dirty tables, spillage on the cream and sugar station. Boy, you would think Starbucks would have some pride on their newest coffee place, but no they don’t seem to care that this place is a pigpen. The other Starbucks(like the one downtown on Putnam Plaza) are welcoming with a good urban vibe. This Starbucks has that shopping mall(sprawl) vibe. The«newest» Starbucks, buried in the new Target store at East Washington Place. MAJORFAIL! Two stars, you say? The baristas(actually cashiers from Target) don’t quite know how to make a proper cup of coffee, they are understaffed and ran out of whipped cream, lemonade, etc. because they«did not expect such a crowd». Duh! They were running around like chickens with no one in charge. (There are six or seven Starbucks scattered around our little town of 58,000 of Petaluma, so they have saturated the market. I wish we had only one, so that you could get a quality product in a quality setting. The premises(brand new, too) were littered with straws, stirrers, napkins. It was really a mess. The tables were pretty much all dirty and in need of attention. I sat there and saw the crowd drift away, so there were 5 people behind the counter, all congratulating themselves for getting the product out. Some went back to their Target stations to work there. No one, I mean no one, grabbed a rag to take care of the tables and the floor litter. Perhaps they were waiting for the little people to come and do that for them. In the hour I sat there, the mess stayed put. Perhaps the night janitor does all that.
