This would be a zero star rating if available. It’s Dec. 20th @ 6:45 pm. I went in to Petaluma Papa Murphy’s for the usual. After cooking the pizza, again, their is no flavor. We eat here every single week, it’s hit or miss, depending on who is making your pizza. This time, we call them to tell them our pizza has zero taste, like they didn’t put any garlic in the white sauce and it’s extremely greasy. Justin is the shift leader and tells the young man on the phone that our next pizza will be ½ off. I said no, our dinner is terrible and you need to refund us for the pizza or comp the next pizza. Justin comes to phone and when I tell him why, he hangs up on me. I call right back, it rings excessively, and Maddie answers. I tell her that Justin hung up on me, your shift manager, and she says that we must have gotten disconnected, then she hung up on me. I call back for a third time and tell the young man from the first call that I wanted to speak to Justin, the shift manager and then he hung up on me. Three times. Mind you, I was not raising my voice at any of them and this is how they treated us. The owner, Bill Kodweif doesn’t care about his customers or he would have trained his employees that treating customers like this could ruin his business. I will follow up on this at a later date.

I enjoy their pizzas. They put lots of topping on their pizzas. I recommend the Murphy’s Combo. You won’t go hungry.

My only experience with Papa Murphys was at the Rincon Valley location. The young people who work there are so friendly and helpful, it’s a pleasure to go there with my granddaughter. Because we recently moved to Petaluma, we have been frequenting the Petaluma location on Lakeville. Wow, what a difference! These poor kids have not been trained in customer service at all. They don’t greet you when you walk in, they don’t even look up. We stand there waiting for someone to notice us. Through out the whole exchange there is very little eye contact and no smiling! I have tried to engage them in friendly small talk(weather, dinner, cute hair cut, etc) with absolutely no success. They take my money, hand me my pizza, and we’re done! No ‘have a great night, enjoy your pizza, thanks for coming in, see you next week’ from these people. This place is not busy at all. There are usually 3 – 4 kids working the front. Sometimes they are talking to each other and ignore us completely. They act like they don’t want to be there and they make us feel like they don’t want us to be there either. I suggest the manager of the Petaluma store call the manager of the Rincon Valley store for tips on how to train your young staff in excellent customer service. ps: the place is very clean and the pizza was yummy, no complaints there!

Seems there was no supervisor on duty. Pizza not ready upon arrival, order in computer but no tag is what I was told. Everyone was in the back. Worst service I’ve ever encountered here.

i love PM but this location is not the best — mainly run by youngster without supervision and each visit is a new adventure. I have been ordering the ½ Hawaiian and ½ Cowboy but the middle line keeps moving. I am not sure if it is the expense or is PM looking after my health, I have been stopping at the Novato store to avoid the drama of this site. see the attached photo — it at least made us laugh… GET A RULER!

Fresh and fast. I like their thin crust because it is not cracker crunchy thin, but thin enough that you eat a little more pizza. This store looks clean and the staff are friendly.

Great place for those quick dinners. Employees are super nice and friendly. nice to see the same people working. The only thing is that place is always soo hott inside I’m surprised the employees don’t suffer from heat stroke a little air conditioning would be nice for them

Simple. Quick. Perfect for those evenings when you’re pooped and don’t want to cook. Tastes pretty good too. Goes good with beer and/or wine

I moved to the area from Boston recently and have been trying new restaurants. One evening after work I was particularly hungry. I stopped in here and ordered a pepperoni pizza. Only $ 5? Nice! I anticipated a 15 minute wait, but they then handed me a cold pizza wrapped in plastic and wished me a good day. «Wait, what?» I didn’t realize I would have to take it home and cook it MYSELF! It turned out to be pretty good, but do not go here when you are starving to death.

First time at this store. Ordered a Vegetarian DeLite Pizza over the phone and specifically asked for the White Garlic Sauce to make sure we didn’t get red sauce. Didn’t bother to check when I picked it up. When I got it home it had red sauce. Called the store. Talked to the person who took my order. He said, «You should have checked your pizza.» No apology. This was clearly not his fault. No, it was mine for not checking my pizza. Seriously? Do you mean to tell me that Papa Murphy gets it wrong So Often, that I have to inspect every pizza I order? OK — it’s just a pizza. I have a couple of choices. 1 — start inspecting my pizza at Papa Murphy’s. 2 — find another Pizza joint. 2 it is!

It was ok. The dessert smores pizza was on the bizarre side. The acoustics in the place make everything louder so it’s hard to hear the cashiers.

If you don’t mind cooking your own pizza this place makes some of the most yummy pizza around. You need to follow direction on how to cook the pizza or it will come out horrible and you can’t really return it. Price is great.

Had Papa’s last night, 1st time in a while. This little store has always been consistent, my all time favorite is pepperoni with their white garlic sauce. Makes the whole pizza fabulous. Heck any of the pizzas with their garlic sauce instead of marinara is great. The veggie or BBQ chicken pizzas are really good too. Calzones are huge and can easily feed 3. This store made a mistake on my pizza order once in the last 5 – 6 years and they made it right by comping my entire order the next time I ordered from them. Service has always been polite and helpful. There is nothing better than taking your pie home, cooking it when your ready, serving it hot and everyone is happy.

If you like take and bake pizza i guess this place is aight. I do like their«garlic bread». The kids who work here are all idiots and could care less about their job. I don’t blame them. I think Eli used to work here.

I used to work here when I was 17. It was the only job dealing with food I ever had. I decided to work here because, all my friends worked here and there is no cooking involved. No grease, no hot ovens, just prepping veggies and making cold pizza. If you go there and order a normal pizza it won’t be good. But if you work there, or know someone who does, you can have a magical pizza. They were only magical because I would use ridiculous amounts of toppings, they were free and I was on all the drugs. I got a raise before my first paycheck because of the drugs(1). By company policy, employees were supposed to «buy» their own pizzas at a discount. Also, employees were to throw away any pizzas not picked up by the end of the night. So we would always have friends call in bogus orders right before closing and then instead of throwing away the pizza, we’d just hide it out back and then pick it up when we left. Sadly my employment ended as an end result of the drugs. I then went to; and then; I kind of miss making pizza. *** 1. Drugs are bad! I don’t do them anymore.

I love papa murphy’s. I love pizza. so i really love it when i can take one home, bake it to my own liking and eat it when it’s still hot enough to burn the shit out of the top of my mouth. I went to this location the day i moved to petaluma, normally i’ll call my order in so i don’t have to wait at the location. But, i was out running around and was getting hungry and didn’t want mc donald’s. I walked in and placed my order. He asked if i wanted a large for only $ 1 more… do i look like i need a large pizza… no, i’m not exactly suffering from malnourishment. But, he won me over when he said i wouldn’t have to wait, it’s already made. All the other papa murphy’s i’ve been to don’t have any pre-made. Maybe i should give them less stars for having one pre-made, because then it’s not super fresh… whatever… i didn’t have to wait. That was all i cared about!
