Pizza is tasty, but service sucks. If they would have made my pizza right(olive oil instead of marinara. i hate tomatoes) it would have been even better. The woman cook that worked that day could use an attitude adjustment. I was in no hurry to get anywhere and just asked her to make it the way I ordered it. All I got was an argument from her. What happen to customer service? Eventually it was made correctly and I was happy. 4÷5÷2013

This pizza place is great. Love the service, never had a single problem with the delivery. The owner(local) — really nice and they use really yummy fresh ingredients. They have many interesting choices — the Mediterranean plate and the Moroccan pizza are some of my favorites.

Before I found Zpizza, it had been almost 20 since I’d had restaurant pizza. I was excited at the prospect of finding a gluten and dairy free pizza, AND delivery. The crust is really good, and compares to some of the best pizzas I’ve had, but the toppings aren’t. The quality of the meats are poor, and really, really skimpy(and OHMYGOD, stay away from the chicken sausage, WORSTTHINGEVER!!!). The amount of chicken on the pizza was less than a tablespoon for the whole pizza, with pieces smaller than a fine mince, too small to detect the flavor among the other skimpy toppings. The peperoni was so thin, again, there just wasn’t enough of the ingredient to impart much flavor. Overall, the toppings are skimpy, and the quality is inconsistent, ranging from mediocre to very poor. Loved having pizza again, and loved the freedom of ordering delivery, but the quality of the toppings is a big disappointment. Delivery is usually pretty good, the only order/delivery problem I’ve run into are the pizza orders, they have put real cheese on them, so I ended up waiting for my pizza for a couple of hours, for the correct order, but I appreciated their correcting and redelivering it as soon as possible, just would have been nice to have gotten it right the first time.

The gluten free pizza is pretty good(not the best I’ve had, but definitely not the worst either), but the actual GF pizzas are unbelievably tiny. I like that they clearly indicate which sauces and toppings are gluten free(something many places offering GF pizza don’t bother to do for some reason). However, last night’s delivery was a nightmare. I don’t often order pizza, and when I do, it’s usually because I’m feeling particularly lazy. Last night’s delivery required my husband to go find the driver(because he couldn’t — or wouldn’t — find our apartment in our complex). After the driver only gave my husband only part of our order, I immediately called him back — he could not have gotten far away yet — and he expressed complete ignorance as to the missing pizza, but said he’d contact the store. He contacted the store and the store called me and told me that they had heard there was«some confusion» regarding my order(apparently the driver didn’t bother to tell the store what the problem was or how many pizzas he’d actually delivered, just that I’d complained). Um — no confusion — we’d paid for more pizzas than were delivered, and we wanted our already-paid-for pizza. This guy too expressed ignorance, but acknowledged the total number of pizzas we’d ordered, and told us he’d recontact the driver, and call us back. 10 minutes later, we got an apologetic call back that yes, we’d been delivered less pizzas than were ordered, and that they would bring the missing pizza back. 35 minutes after the initial delivery, and an hour and 10 minutes after our order, our missing — and now dead cold — pizza was finally delivered(and yes, my husband had to go hunt down the driver again). I understand that mistakes happen, but there was really no reason for there to be so many calls and so much delay over the very simple matter of a mis-placed pizza. Apparently, zpizza is not the place to go if you’re lazy and just want some pizza delivered to your door with a minimum of difficulty. Next time, I’ll go pick it up and avoid both the drama and the need to tip the driver.

We were very excited to find a good dairy free, gluten free pizza place that delivered. Our first couple of experiences were great. Loved them. Then our pizzas would arrive cold. Then they would mess up our order and use dairy cheese. THEN they sent a family to our house to deliver our pizza, which seemed strange. The woman with our pizza came out of a back seat she shared with a crying child and handed us our dinner. When I remarked about the little one, she proffered that they were contracted drivers and could be called ANY time to deliver food. This seemed unprofessional and a bit unsafe. So. .. they’ve lost our business.

Driving by the strip mall locale on a 90 degree day, it was the sign«A Pint and a Slice $ 3.99 all day & night.» that got me to pull into the parking lot. I’d seen ZPizza ADs and had driven right past locations in Houston and Flower Mound, Tx but hadn’t ventured in. But the lure of a pint on a 90 degree day did the trick. Once inside, the wife liked the ‘Slice & a Side for $ 5.99′, with salad side choices of Caesar, Greek and a few more. The Greek came with very fresh mixed greens — no iceberg filler — and feta, olives, tomatoes. It was a good sized portion for a side salad too. Two pizza options were available — one with creamy garlic sauce, mozzarella, fresh tomatoes and basil on a thin crust. The secon was a meat combo on red sauce. The wife liked that they offered gluten free crust. I don’t know if the by-the-slice we had was gluten free or not, but the crust was thin, crisp with just enough texture & chewiness to it. I’m not a fan of cracker-like versions of thin crust. The ambiance was fast food like, industrial strength orange plastic type tables & chairs, with a few metal tables on the sidewalk adjacent to the parking lot. Sports channel with volume up on the flat screen behind the counter was a plus for me, a minus for the wife.

All around great place to get creative pizza! The have a lot of alternative choices, including vegan and gluten free! I live in santa rosa and i make the drive, just for this pizza! They also have a good selection of salads and subs. The crust is perfect, not too thick, not too flimsy. Really good service and friendly staff. I’ve never had an order screwed up here. I love the Berkeley vegan pizza(made with Daiya cheese!)

Very pleasant ambience in this pizza place and an excellent selection on the menu. So far, I’ve eaten their gluten-free pizza and it’s pretty darn good! Pizza dough is quite a challenge in the gluten-free world; usually the dough comes out kind of tough & glue-y. ZPizza’s is thin & crisp! Their Italian sausage has that kick of fennel seed that is often missing these days at other pizza places. I shall return to try the arugula salad w/candied walnuts or the one with pears & gorgonzola.

Very tasty, doughy crust, not greasy, interesting pizza combos. I stick with pepperoni(its hard to screw up) with the occasional pineapple. They’ve even got vegan stuff too.

I had a slice of the Italian for lunch today. Artichoke, black olives, tomato, ham?(none on mine) with pesto. Menu said pesto. That’s how I know. It must have been applied with a make-up brush. Couldn’t taste. it. Couldn’t taste anything, actually. I asked the manager originally for a piadini. He said his franchise opted out of that special. I saw it on-line and wanted to try it. If you want good thin crust pizza: Brixx! Regular crust: Red Boy(with yummy sauce slathered on)

Like others I wanted to like the pizza. Actually the pizza was pretty good but was delivered quite a bit later than promised and cold. We had to reheat for a solid 15 minutes. We called and complained about the temperature of the delivery(we live 4 blocks from the restaurant) they were not willing to credit us the delivery cost but gave us 10% off our next pizza, we thought that was kinda a joke. The flatbread was not worth it but the salad was lovely. Overall, I can’t imagine going back again

This place has unique pizzas. We tried the XL Mexican pizza. It was okay & different. The lime chicken was very flavorful. The slices were huge. The price was $ 20+. We also ordered a small Tuscan for the vegetarian in the group. They said it was good, but with no meat, I wasn’t trying it. The ingredients are all organic. That is not why we tried this place although it is interesting. This was probably one of the more bland pizzas that I’ve ever tasted. It was filling, but not very memorable. Another downfall is that they don’t serve beer in pitchers, just pints. There were 5 of us, so the added expense for individual beers was not appreciated. Had I known there was a Mary’s Pizza Shack just a block down the road, I probably would have gone there. In addition to really good pizza, they have a full bar and allow ordering pitchers of beer. I probably won’t go here again but it was an experience in the world of organics.

Can you say fresh, yum, what a choice whether by the slice or whole pizzas. A super selection of standard and specialty pizzas. Nice options of salads, splitting up meals for affordabale lunch, etc. Truly loved the Casablanca slice, heading back here again, for sure! Will get the old regular types for the family and indulge in the cool options offered for something a little different and a crust where I ate the entire thing. That don’t happen in my world…

Horrible. Do not like this Restaurant, Owner is a total douchebag. Talked to me with a very aggressive tone and would snap at me if I asked any questions. Food was nothing special, Marys is better in my opinion. Service is way better at least. Same owner as Skewers. Another wonderful gem of Petaluma(sarcasm).

Since Pizzavino 707 in Sebastopol closed, I have been looking for the area’s next best gluten free pizza. Finding Z Pizza, I have successfully found the next #1 gluten free pizza!!! Not only are they conveniently located just off the 101, they also have vegan, gluten free, and non-pizza options! The one I picked was the truffle oil, mushrooms, and vegan cheese on gluten free crust, and it was so spectacular!!! My dining companions scoffed at the thought of gluten and dairy free pizza, but when I offered them both a bite, the look on their faces was PRICELESS!!! It really is surprisingly delicious. I don’t know of any other pizza establishment that offers vegan cheese options! I can’t wait to go back here and just eat myself silly in the land of gluten free carbs: hearts:

I have been waiting for this franchise to open up in Sonoma County. After going to the one in San Francisco I have been obsessed. The pizza is very good, as are their salads. I have had about 3 or 4 of the pizza combinations and they literally have options for anyone: mushroom lovers, vegi lovers, meat lovers. One of their pizzas even has truffle oil on it! They also have options for those on a gluten free diet, which doesn’t affect me but it shows that the franchise is very health conscious. Surprisingly, it’s not expensive. The owners have definitely price slashed enough to make it very affordable and a great, somewhat healthy(for pizza) option in Petaluma. Also, they deliver to the Petaluma area. The owner’s name is Mike and he is usually there during business hours and is very nice and talkative. You can tell he really cares and it shows with how the place is run. My only gripe is they do not deliver to Rohnert Park, maybe soon. A definite recommendation!

The pizza was decent. Some nice choices besides cheese and pepperoni. Way overpriced though regarding the salads. They have a deal where you can order a slice and a half a salad but the salad is on a mini bread plate and so I was still hungry afterwards. My partner ordered a slice and then a small chicken Cesar salad(salad was $ 7.95) and the salad was really skimpy too– not that much bigger than mine. More like a $ 4 salad than an $ 8 salad. Bonus– they have coloring for the kids.

I went there twice, once for a slice to try them out, and again for a whole pizza because the slice was fantastic. I got pepperoni both times. The slices are a bit overpriced, but their whole pizza prices are awesome — it was $ 16.69 after tax for an 18″(finally, another place that offers 18″) pep. That’s about $ 6 less than Mombos would charge for the same thing. I’d recommend ordering extra sauce, because they really skimp. My tolerance for that is low because, come on, the sauce is the best part! For a «healthier» pizza it actually still tasted flavorful and yum. It wasn’t dry, the cheese was almost like string cheese and the crust was addicting. It sort of tasted like softer french bread to me, but of course everyone’s taste buds are different. The only thing I had a problem with is the fact that they burned my pizza. When I went in for a slice, everything looked and tasted great but a couple days later when I ordered a whole pizza, both the pizza they used for slices and the pizza they cooked for me were black on the bottom and edges of the crust. Because it was obviously left in the oven for too long, the cheese hardened pretty quickly(gross). It didn’t reheat well the next day either, but I do recognize that it could have just been that particular pizza cook. I had no idea who it was so I couldn’t recommend staying away from that person. I’ll probably try again. Hopefully they watch their timers next time :)
