We love the T Bone Steak always cooked to perfection. The bacon wrapped shrimp best in town. Service is always good. We keep coming back.

I enjoy the food and service at Plaza Tequila. The servers have always been very friendly and attentive. The food has yet to disappoint me so consistency is never an issue. I love the happy hour tacos. They cant be beat for a $ 1! Personally I find the flavor of their al pastor to be the best in town. The meat is very flavorful and it is still tender and juicy. I find that at other places the pastor can be overcooked making it dry and not as tasty. Also if you like a sweet and spicy mole sauce this is the best around. It is a thick and rich mole with the right amount of sweet up front with back end spice. I usually order togo and their packing is also done well. I like that when I get my mole burrito togo it comes in an aluminum foil container that I can just pop in the oven to reheat. The one thing that would really put them over the top for me would be a larger salsa selection. However, the salsas they have are very good flavor wise. I am just a sucker for the salsa selection at Mi Pueblo. Petaluma is lucky when it comes to delicious mexican food and Plaza Tequila is definitely one of my favorites.

We were looking for some authentic Mexican food and boy did we come to the wrong place. After asking around town what the best place to visit I kept getting referrals to Plaza Tequila, it did not live up to the expectations. Do not make the same mistake I did unless your not looking for authentic Mexican food.

Again best food ever excellent service everytime great micheladas and food. The owner/​manager is always very nice, all wait staff very attentive to all your needs always leave full and happy!!! Will be back next saturday.

Food is delicious! Portions are huge and the staff is very friendly and professional. I got the cantarito which was delish! I also got a coctel de camaron, it was so good. My brother got the molcajete… wow, what a huge meal. It was all fresh, delicious, and priced good.

Ate here as part of a big group and was very well cared for by the waitstaff. They kept the chip baskets full and brought several kinds of salsa, including a mild one for the kids. Another nice touch is a large kids menu with both standard options and original dishes (like «pizza» on a corn tortilla topped with beans and cheese.) I had the shrimp a la diabla for dinner, and it was delicious. Would definitely order it again. Overall, a winner! We will be back!

I’ve been here a number of times, tried several dishes and have never been disappointed. The 7 Mares and the Mocajete are a couple of our faves, and my daughter loves the sopapillas. The Pina Preparada is also a nice treat.
This has definitely become a go to for us and love taking our family & friends there when they come to visit.

Fabuloso! I work in the area and eat here all the time = choosing something different = always good! Great friendly staff, love the salsa and homemade chips bar — good prices and satisfies that hangry craving!

new to the area, my husband and I wanted authentic Mexican food. and we found our new favorite spot for sure! right away we had drink orders taken & they put chips & 3 salsas at our table, very good!
we had a molcajete & it was huge, it’s enough for two, so good!
our son had tacos de asada & he liked them. I also ordered shrimp tacos, the had a bit too much of pico de gallo for me, but over all the flavor was good.
& they have the best michelada!

If I could rate this place one star I would. Came here on a Saturday night, place was slightly busy, no large parties or much people waiting. Our table took 40 mins to get cleaned and the dishes sat there for 30 mins or so. After asking several times for an update on our table, the kids, and noticed how I said «kids» because they seemed like none of them knew what they were doing. I am in this industry FYI.
Very disappointed and definitely will not be coming back for averaged food and unprofessional service.

Very good Mexican food with a wide variety of food and drinks. Good service and atmosphere.

love this place! I never roam much outside my kitchen when Mexican food is concerned, but this place is worth leaving the dishes in the cupboard. I usually skip the rice and beans so I can eat more tacos, Al Pastor and carnitas are my favs, the bacon wrapped shrimp are also great. three homemade salsas served when you sit and the mixed drinks are strong and flavorful.

Chicken and ground beef are marinated and is everything I asked for !!! Nachos are #1! $ 1 tacos happy hour is yummmmy!

The food portions are GIGANTIC! Do now come here and attempt to eat the entire thing. It’s just not fair to your digestive system. BUT, you have lunch tomorrow and maybe even dinner. The service was pretty decent but for whatever reason there seemed to be some trouble understanding our orders, Other than that we had a good time and ate way too much.

All of the sides are good here and it’s a great way to sample the menu. We split a fantastic pork tamale with tomotillo sauce that had a little shredded cabbage salad on the side. I can’t wait to try more.

This is our fav new spot for mexican food in Petaluma. Great drinks and food. Service is friendly and they are adjusting to the steadily increasing business!
Tuesdays kids eat free + parents can enjoy happy hour. Double win!
