I LOVE Shunzi… finally a place in Sonoma County with unusual, edgy clothes… and thank goodness there’s additional shops in Los Altos and San Rafael.
I love the layout of the store, the merchandise is always changing, they have a great sale rack, and the sales staff is smart and helpful… Veronica is a fabulous manager.
I’ve brought in visiting friends that walk away with bags of treasures that they can’t find anywhere else… and I always seem to find something I didn’t know I needed.
It’s my go-​to shop in Petaluma… don’t wait for a reason… just go…

I shopped today after losing some weight. I was looking for some unusual fashions and lovely fabrics. The store is beautifully merchandised and open and airy. It was a very lovely shopping experience.
Our sales lady was named Veronica and she was extremely knowledgeable about her stock. I literally stayed in the dressing room and she kept bringing me some wonderful choices to try on and choose from. I felt like she really heard me about my preferences.
I cannot recommend this shop enough. I got a new wardrobe and could not be more thrilled. Don’t wait! Go and shop!

As an Image Consultant, I’m often surveying many shops internationally, look for the perfect pieces to build out my client’s wardrobe that is in alignment with their personal brand. I happened to be in Petaluma for a music festival and stumbled into this cute shop. With a background in marketing, I was initially struck by the great attention to detail with regards to merchandising in the store. Outfits were creatively crafted and displayed. It was clear the store owner knew intimately the demographic of its clients; a refined, sophisticated, 40+ woman with a definably unique taste. There are many great, quality lines from Europe and abroad. Pieces were selected that displayed attention to detail, personality and sophistication. For the quality, pieces were priced accordingly. You’re spending on pieces that will last a lifetime. So, if you cost average it over cost of wear, it is well worth the investment. The jewelry lines were also selected with the same attention to detail and quality. It was refreshing to experience such a well curated store. The salesperson, Laura, was super friendly, cheerful, and helpful. For anyone looking to build a distinctive wardrobe, you can’t go wrong shopping her.

Nice store. The quality of the clothing and accessories is excellent. I get unique clothing from designers all over the world. They are investment pieces, but well worth it because they last and never go out of style.

This has been my favorite store for many years. My friends and I go to the wine country a few times a year, and every time we make sure to visit this beautiful store. The selections of the styles are absolutely superb, and we can always find many items we fall in love with. Styles from Europe and Israel are always my favorite. Some pieces are pricey, but definitely worth it!
Sales ladies are always very helpful and the store is always beautifully merchandised. Just being in this store is a pleasant experience itself.
I finally met the owner this time. She was very nice and spent time talking to us about the history of the store and the philosophy of her business. Clearly, she is very passionate about her business, and no wonder she has built 3 very successful stores. I have told all my friends about this store, and we are going to visit her other locations as well.

A great boutique where I discovered an amazing assortment of clothing and accessories — jewelry and scarves.
Very happy to Find the kind of quality clothing without having to go to San Francisco. The staff is helpful, knowledgable, and personable. With excellent customer service in finding me my size when it wasn’t available at this location. I guess having multiple locations that speak to each other is helpful.
Thank you for having a selection I don’t see every where. I like shopping boutiques rather than department stores locally!!!

This store was waaay overpriced and the clothes were old fashioned and I don’t mean in a «vintage» good, way. They were old in an out of style way.
Very disappointing. Will be happy when downtown Petaluma gets a cool store where the clothes are reasonably priced but also stylish.

This boutique store is unique and sales people are helpful. I like the politics of shopping locally, however the down side for me is that returns are only given store credit. This is a lousy policy and for this reason I will not shop here again. I will also disencourage my friends from shopping here, for the same reason.
The prices are a bit high — some items definitely overpriced. Some items are good wools and cottons — others not so great rayons and synthetics.
If the store changed this archaic and miserly practice, I would change my rating.

Lovely little boutique. Unique clothing and helpful staff. I was just browsing, but left the store with a fabulous skirt to match something I already have to wear to a wedding party ! BONUS… you don’t have to break the bank here.

Juniors fashion, casual, work to dressy clothes. Some items are even designed and sewn by the owner. On the pricey side, since it is downtown.
