I had to give Sonoma Mountain Pizza 5 stars as their pizza is excellent. I love pesto pizza and their pesto pizza is a favorite as it has a great vegetarian combination of spinach, mushrooms, onions, garlic and tomatoes. If you are in the Petaluma area and looking for good pizza, I highly recommend SOMO Pizza!

It’s weird I’ve been here a million times and was my favorite place for a while but idk what happened they seem to have changed and the pizza is… for lack of a better word… gross… I thought it was a one off but it arrived soggy and with a kind of… gross flavor… idk what happened… but it’s really dissapointing this place used to literally be the most perfect little pizza joint

Thanks for making me feel stupid for not knowing what a «Margherita» pizza is. I’m pretty sure she was the owner so I’m even more disappointed her customer service skills were well below average. Also, your«Aloha» pizza is called a «Hawaiian» everywhere else, so thanks for being extra confusing. Two stars because the pizza is good.

Literally the worst costumer service EVER. I came in when there was a group of teenagers and all I asked for was g knots. The owner attended the group of teenagers flirting and bringing them whatever they wanted. After 20 mins of waiting I finally asked when my food would be ready and the owner had sent her child to g and g right next door to pick up things to make my g knots… I waited 35 mins to make something that takes 5. LITERALLYTERRIBLE.

We order pizza here at least once a month sometimes twice for the last few years. It’s always yummy. Their pizza sauce is really tasty. They have garlic bread knots that are super garlicky but so good. We order the family special(free small cheese with a medium 2 topping). Their salads are good too… we usually get the one with salami in it… also yummy. Delivery has always been fast too. Nothing bad to say!

Pretty solid and affordable spot. Oddly, place was bigger than I thought it would be too. Def a good spot for the younger crowd. Pizza was also greasy good.

Everybody must get pizza! To paraphrase Dylan. ;) and we have great options here in East Ptown. SoMo is so great – with fab food, great draft beer, salads ahoy… I really like the homey-hang out atmosphere and wonderful staff here. Friendly, fast, and fabulous! A blessing to have a place like this so close. Partake and chill!

Incredible pizza! It takes a while to make, because they do it from scratch, but it truly is delicious! The staff is usually super friendly. I come here whenever I have a pizza craving, and I am never disappointed. Usually get the meat lovers pizza, or the calzones, which are very filling and a good price! The place is always clean, and they always have fun decorations for the holidays creating a nice ambiance. The owner Gwen is a complete sweetheart, always welcoming and accommodating. She knows I can’t eat dairy without a terrible stomach ache, so she does my pizza’s with half cheese and half no cheese so I can enjoy pizza with my friends and fiancé. I have always had issues in the past with pizza places that don’t understand, «no cheese on half.» But I know that I can get my cheese less pizza here, and it is out of this world amazing even without cheese!

Dang, what happened to the crust that used to be so tasty and the generous toppings? It had been a couple years since getting a SoMo pizza and I was looking forward to it. But it seems things have changed. I’m sorry to say the pizza was subpar, with a soggy nearly inedible crust and rather skimpy on the toppings :(

Yesterday was moving day so definitely not going to cook. Ordered a pizza & salad to pick up and we’re told 30 minutes. Went there on time — pizza ready and waiting but salad not together. Had to wait for them to throw a bunch of stuff in a plastic tray which was basically inedible. Not a salad which takes a little thought and preparation. I would have thought salad would beat the pizza so the pie didn’t cool while I steamed… Pizza was subpar — terrible soggy crust. Crust is the most important part of a pizza. I think a little attention and pride is due here. And a good crust recipe. I made better pizzas 40 years ago at Chicken Delight.

The pizza was subpar. Ordered a large pepperoni for myself and my wife. We agreed that the crust was too doughy — it wasn’t cooked fully or was just too thick. The sauce was on the bland side as well. I would not recommend this place over a national chain pizza since at least you know the«quality» you’ll get at a big chain.

AMAZE-BALLS!!! I must say: there is absolutely NO reason anyone should rate this place any lower than 5 stars. You seen that movie, «Mystic Pizza»? That’s how good this pizza is! Don’t take my word for it– try it! Seems pricey, but they use high quality ingredients and it is better than any fine dining Italian establishment. They should be charging more… hehe!!!

Pizza has become a commodity to some extent. Most people want the best pizza for the lowest price. The prices here are somewhere in the middle, but completely worth every last penny. The ingredients were fresh and were high quality. While some establishments have an absentee business owner, this place has owners who actually show up and care about the customers and employees. We ordered a half and half– vegetarian and meat combo. The crust was thick and not soggy like some pizza can be. The employees were friendly and the pizza was finished quickly. The draft beer selection was small, but all local good beers(Lagunitas, 101 North Brewing) For those customers who complain about the prices, I suggest they go buy a $ 5 fake cheese pizza across town. This place is worth the money.

Disappointing experience today. Ordered a calzone and bread sticks for pickup. Was told to come in 25 minutes. Arrived on time to find out they’d not yet started to make the calzone. I left and had to return later to pick up my order(running me late for a meeting). Then, when I got home, my order was completely wrong. The calzone had the wrong ingredients and I was given mozzarella sticks, not bread sticks. I called later to speak to the manager. Was told she didn’t take my order so it’s not her fault. She just makes what is on the receipt. It was an employee’s first day on the job, but she couldn’t see how he could have mistaken bread sticks for mozzarella sticks when they are on completely different screens. Besides, she told me it was my responsibility to double check my receipt. I never check my receipts because typically restaurants know what they are doing. I threw the receipt away in the restaurant. Won’t be returning there anytime soon, and would suggest others double and triple check your receipt and order before leaving the store. A simple apology would have been enough to satisfy me — I didn’t even want new food. Excuses by management blaming the customer are not wise.

I believe I have found the hidden gem of pizza in Petaluma. What first drew me in, was a coupon I received in the mail from something I’ve never seen before called Fat Frogg. I ordered one of their specialty barbecue chicken pizzas, which had Gouda cheese on it, which I thought was an amazing touch. Three days later I came back for their lunch special… For 749 I got a gigantic slice of vegetarian pizza that melted in my mouth. On top of that I received a generous portion of the best Caesar salad I’ve had since moving to Sonoma County. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the pizza was properly cared for on its way to my plate. The staff is been amazingly friendly every time I walk in there, they have lagunita’s IPA beer for only four dollars! I may never eat another pizza parlors food again. This place rocks!

Great for take out or eating in! All their flavors are really unique which sets them apart from other pizzerias. They also have a small selection of beer(including local Lagunitas!) Highly recommend their breadsticks(I think the Big Dipper) with the ranch, so delicious!
