Terrible service and by far the slowest moving workers.
It’s one of those situations where you’ve been waiting so long already you don’t want to leave and go get in another line to order… 20 minutes later I was able to order my meal.

Went tonight and was told that even though they knew the price on the speaker menu board was incorrect that they would not honor it. When I brought up the discrepancy to the cashier, I was told that she’d have them look at it later… yeah right…

Four small sundaes and four small ice cream cones in a cup = $ 27!!! I know for a fact that this place has jacked up their prices compared to all other local DQ’s. This is ridiculous!

I haven’t eaten at DQ in years, but I used to live in Pflugerville and this one was pretty good. We were tired and wanted something fast, so went through the DQ drive-​thru. 20 minutes later, and I get a «Dude» that tastes like it was cooked the day before and heated up in the microwave. My friend got the steak-​finger basket, which had the same ½ rancid, reheated flavor. The fries were ice cold and gummy. NEVER going back. I would give this place 0 stars if I could.

TERRIBLE cherry limeade the last 3 times we’ve come here tastes like nothing but over-​carbonated Sprite with red food coloring. Not even a cherry or lime. This location sucks.

The line always takes forever! They NEVER turn the blizzards upside down like they’re supposed to. And it’s because it’s always half melted. I even commented on the DQ Facebook page for them to find a solution and all they tried to do was talk me into opening a franchise. Basically their solution was make your own damn blizzard.

If you love delicious melted ice cream dripping down the side, go here when there is a line in the drive-​thru. They make the ice cream immediately and then let it sit until you get to the window.
The other good thing about this place is it keeps you guessing. You never know if your order will be right or what will be missing from it.
The flavors are indicative of other DQ’s which simply cannot be found anywhere else.
If you are craving DQ, enjoy melted ice cream and love surprises, this is the place for you.

I am sad to say that I use to work here about 15 years ago. I understand they went through new owners and management and it has just gone downhill since. The food was still good but the customer service is terrible. It took 30 minutes for my wife to get a waffle cone blizzard after I asked for it twice. When I was done eating my meal I ordered the same dessert and after waiting 35 minutes and watching them throw away 3 attempts to make my cone I asked for my money back. The team lead Adrion didn’t seem to know how to be a leader and control his team. Breanna cursed in front of my two young children because they didn’t have the common sense to unlock the back door when they dropped off food. I hate to say it but my family and I will not be going back. It hurts to see such a awesome restaurant go downhill the way this one is. The new owners need to do something different.

Finally fixed my blizzard right. Doing so is hit and miss depending upon who is fixing it. My favorite is the turtle pecan cluster blizzard. My favorite food chicken fingers or chili dog.

Terrible. Abysmal. Disgusting. Just… everything bad you could ever say about a fast food joint. Dirty. Terrible management. It used to be great, before Pflugerville became a bustling metropolis. (Ha!)
Ugh.
25 minutes in line. Order was wrong, teenagers crabby and inept, ice cream melted, drive up window filthy. No, no, no.
Less than zero stars.

So… I’ve been here many times and time after time I think they’ll get better :(Not so. Place is poorly managed. For as many people as they have working, service should be faster. Everytime we come, it’s a constant long wait. They get our orders wrong all of the time. Just very disappointed because I really like DQ.

I usually don’t do reviews on restaurants like this. But in this case it deserves a review. I’ll come here earlier this week to get a blizzard and the ice cream machine is broken, at Dairy Queen they don’t have ice cream??. Today I come in to get a blizzard of the month, cotton candy and they don’t have all the ingredients to make one… What the heck is going on at this Dairy Queen? Signed disappointed

This place actually ran out of ice cream on my first visit here! Really??! It’s an ice cream store! My pregnant sister was not happy!

My girlfriend went to get our food and the order was all wrong!!! She argued with the gentleman for several minutes and gave up, just grabbed our food and left the drive thru. When she gets home once again the order is still wrong and the fries are the worst I’ve ever tasted and they are definitely not a Texas size like we paid for… Worst experience at this Dairy Queen ever and I use to love giving them my business

I’m not really sure if this specific DQ now has another franchise owner or what. Recently it took 35 mins to get 2 orders of tacos in the drive thru.
Then, when I gave them another try today, I went inside (drive thru too long again) and I waited 20 mins inside for 2 blizzards! Then, I saw a bug crawl across the floor under the drink machine and freaked. One of the girls (not the only one moving at a snail’s pace) threw an empty box and missed the trash can, so she left the trash on the floor.
This shift to poor service speed, no more happy faces/​good cust svc is for the birds. They lost 2 customers today. Gross!

I’m writing this review about their customer service, not the food. It’s been 20 minutes and we have no food, way to go Dairy Queen.
First of all every other damn commercial is about their new Apple Pie Blizzard. After waiting for more than 10 minutes we were told they don’t have it. Awesome, now we’re invested.
There are zero people inside the restaurant and 15 cars in the drive thru, mainly because it takes almost TEN MINUTES PER CAR to move forward.
The staff are screaming and laughing, the 14 year old on the head set couldn’t pay attention to the clowns working with her and my order, so I had to repeat my order no less than THREE TIMES.
What a joke, won’t be coming back here.

Dairy Queen is about fresh food! When you make a home made burger, it takes a while. So what would be any different about here? if you want super fast food and questionable service, go to Mcdonalds. If you want fresh and decent food go to DQ! Every time i go the store is always clean the people are nice.

We stopped in for small blizzards and a mini caramel sundae, i had a heath blizzard and my cohort in crime went with a georgia mud fudge blizzard, we should have went with the mini too, half way through and we always say it’s too much and than they seem to disappear…

If you want a blizzard cake which costs at least $ 30 for an 8-​inch, this is the place to go. It’s pretty cramped inside, and the insane ratio of employees to space reminds me of kicking a fire ant pile as a kid and watching the sheer ridiculous numbers of them run around in a state of confused chaos.
They didn’t have my cake ready when they said they would, and rather than simply admit it or apologize, the manager sent somebody else to the frozen cake display to grab my cake as if they were on a spy mission, brought it to the back and then personalized it before finally bringing it back out to me. Luckily they got the name right, or I would have been sleeping on the couch. I prefer the one on Lamar for Blizzard Cakes, and the one on Burnet for regular Dairy Queening business for what it’s worth…
