This is a big place with reasonably priced drinks that would be great if there wasn’t ashtrays on every table. Even if you don’t sit close to someone smoking you end up leaving early because your eyes are burning. None of the rooms are smoke free. There’s a big deck outside but nobody uses it because they’re free to smoke inside. I asked about it because this place was smoke free and was told the ownership made the decision. I don’t understand this because there are more no smokers than smokers. The decision was a poor one. No wonder the parking lot isn’t full on weekends like it used to be

They allow smoking again. When we arrived there were only five people in the place and it stunk so bad we left. Never again.

What happened to this place? It had so much potential and used to have this FANTASTICDJ who really got everyone on the floor dancing and the bar was always full of folks who needed refreshment! Last year they built smoking areas outside, Saturday night though EVERYONE was smoking inside(I swear some idiot almost caught my friends hair on fire with his stupid cigarette) and drinking on the dance floor(messy broken glass and wet spots). The dj in the old 80’s room now plays ONLY tejano(so that 4 people could sit and watch an empty dance floor), the dj in the hip hop room plays 30 – 45 seconds of unidentifiable music either with an erratic beat while guys record half drunk«ladies» in cages, or the girls who are so drunk the only reason they’re still on their feet is because the guy with his hands down her pants and on her boobs is holding her up. Man, they really do not keep it classy anymore. The Wild Cats(coyote ugly type bar) was closed off and looks like it hasn’t been used in months. The section that used to have live music in the back hasn’t had live music in FOREVER. The country bar, full of smoke(and even a girl who seemed to be having sex with some guy against the wall) was the only one that played any music worth dancing to(like the Electric Slide, the Wobble, the Cupid Shuffle) and maybe another song or two… I felt like we ended up paying $ 5 per song we were able to dance to by the time we paid for 2 drinks plus tip and door fee. No idea where to go anymore. Clientele has changed so much. It used to be a fun place for 20 somethings and up. Now it seems like amateur hour in every possible way.

The manager Saturday night lied about the policies. The phone message said free entry before 9. Manager said free entry ONLYWITH A COSTUME and demanded money for entry. Sorry, that’s deceptive and is called a bait and switch. Called the bbb. Filed a complaint. That’s the best you can do I suppose.

I was here with a big group of friends. We ordered a round of shots and it was completely watered down. 42.00 worth of water. This place has gone to crap. I will never ever go here again. Go to Wild West on 1431. Clean, great drinks, prices reasonably and loads of fun. Worst experience ever!

If only you could give no star for a review. This place has completely gone to crap. Extremely filthy the bartender was absolutely horrible, believe his name was Mark, in the country part of the bar. He made my wife and a friend a clear Long Island iced tea, I’ve never had a clear Long Island iced tea. We also ordered six shots of patron. As soon as the shots hit our mouths simultaneously everyone of us immediately thought extremely watered down. Go to 6th Street deal with the traffic and the parking. Attached is a picture of a buddy of mine. Plainly said we got f*****.

Great one of these in Houston with many beautiful women there so, I thought lets give it a look. Went on a Saturday night. Lets just say someone left the gate open and all the heifers old and young were there in too revealing too tight clothes. Hey if you like em big and I mean big, or worn out, or crazy looking this is your spot.

They are now open two days a week. Friday and Saturday. Seeing as I was a Wednesday goer this makes it difficult for me to go. Had to drop my star rating because that’s just plain inconvenient. They are undoubted going out of business and this is their last leg. Go out there while you can. If you can.

Great dance floor. I can spin the wife around and around. Drinks are great prices. Great music. 4 pool tables. What else. The staff and the people are all very friendly. Good patio outside.

This place sounds good in theory. The Karaōke is what gives Grahams the second star. That spot is fine and fun. The prices are fine. But what kills me is the DJ for the hip-hop section. I’ve heard the same 5 songs on three different occasions. This DJ has no feel for what the crowd is into. You might get 3 songs from within the past three years but the rest will be older than that. They need to get rid of this DJ and let Pandora play top 40. Because it would be so much better.

The management doesn’t care; gives employees permission to take customers drinks/money so you have to spend more money buying more. This business has gone down hill in the last 3 to 4 years. I’m a woman mid 40’s like an good adult dance hall to go to. It’s a shame; others have found other places to go to instead.

Last night was my first time going and I loved it! I got in free before 9, and the greeters were super friendly. I never wanted to go because I heard it was strictly a country club, but they had different parts in it. I wish I would’ve gone sooner. The only downside is that its 18+, so there kind of an immature crowd, but as the night progressed it didn’t really bother me. I’m more than sure I’ll be going back.

For Jessie D’s review below: To the«Marketing Director» who replied lol. I have no idea where to start so here goes. So wait wait this girl Crystal says give me more information so I can try to make things right? how can you make things right when you just stated the dress code is on the door from the«owners» to ensure everyone has a good time. So since you just said a bunch of words they didn’t mean shit, what if guys wearing cowboy hats make my time less enjoyable? Shouldn’t «no cowboy hats» be added onto the dress code? You have a hip hop club in the back just like a country club? So did you actually think before you wrote your response? That’s like having a yoga studio and saying no yoga pants you’re fucking dumb lol. Country club/cowboy clothing hats… Hip hop club/hip hop clothing I could go on and on. So how the fuck does a hat ensure people having a good time. Have you thought to yourself that the owners might be fucking racist or have discriminatory actions and dress codes? Any person with the slightest education could see that. Especially if the guy just said he’s been there multiple times before in the hat since it is, ya know a hip hop club. And then now he couldn’t wear it? So technically one could say I’m sorry those cowboys hats they’re wearing are making my time less enjoyable and the owner should add them to the list. Because apparently some hats are more enjoyable than other hats you and the owners are dumb. You’re dumb for taking up for them with that 3rd grade ass response

Geriatric hour from open to 10pm. The bartenders are mostly hot but that’s about it. I went and did karaōke for the first time while I was waiting for the old-timers to clear out. I sang a song and went in the country bar for a little bit. I had to wait to sing so the DJ running the karaōke could sing some boo hoo country love song. I came back and signed up to sing Legs by ZZ Top. Again the DJ got up and sang some downer song. There were several patrons waiting to sing. I got up to sing and after the first chorus there’s a 23 measure pause. I saw a program window panel flash on the monitor that shows you the lyrics and then go away. The DJ was messing with the machine. I waited and the words for the song didn’t come up. My friend motioned for me to leave the stage. The song was still playing but no lyrics. I don’t have the song memorized. I got off and my friend confirmed the DJ cut the lyrics so I couldn’t sing. What a bitch. Her name is Mercedes and she’s disgusting looking with a terrible hair do. I got a coke from the bar but didn’t pay for it and went up to the stage and spilled it and went home. I didn’t see one dude there who was remotely datable. I think she did it because I’m much thinner than her. I was one of the best looking women in there, not counting the the hot bartenders of course, and I’m a 7 at best.

Unless you wear SHITKICKERS or have on a cowboy hat, DON’T EVENBOTHER!!! I didn’t like this place to begin with but thought I’d give it another chance, seeing that it was my mom’s b-day This place is a joke. You have to pay to get in. But before that they makes sure you pass dress code. They discriminate based on what you wear. «You can’t wear a flat brimmed hat,» is what I whats told as we walked in to this establishment. I said,“But don’t you have a hip-hop bar in the back?“ Doorman replied,“I don’t make the rules.“ Not even an answer to my question or a «let me go get a manager so you can talk to them.» Nope just an ignorant response from someone who looks like they aren’t even allowed in there to begin with. So you want to tell me that if I bend the brim of my hat I can go in or I have to take it off and«check it in» at the front desk… Give me a break. I’ve been here before and they never said anything about me wearing a hat. The only reason I ever get dragged into this place is for some kind of birthday get together. Just know I WON’T be attending ANYTHING that goes on here. Needless to say, its never ok to discriminate anyone. So don’t waste your time or your money if you dress any other way than country. I will be boycotting this place & everyone I know will for sure hear about this.

Dance the night away!!! I do like this place as a go to dancing place because it’s only a $ 10.00 cab ride from my house and has a variety of rooms so it suits everyone’s tastes! $ 6.00 Cover to get in and cheap drinks overall! The only reason I am giving this 3 stars and not more is my drink price changed every time I went up to get one. The first time it was $ 3.00, then it was $ 4.00, then it was $ 5.00 for a shot and the same drink, then it was $ 8.00 for 2 drinks… and so on… hmmm that math just doesn’t add up! I could understand if maybe it was a different person serving us every time but it wasn’t! Please get the pricing under control because I ordered from the same person at the same bar all night!

This place is G-R-O-S-S. The smoke cloud that hits you right when you enter and the hideous music they play in the back room. Never Again. I went with a few friends a week ago and couldn’t believe they actually charged to get in. I absolutely will not return p.s please tell the DJ to play something other than macklemore or brittney spears I heard the same songs 3 times and I was only there for 2 hrs. If you like the movie The Hills Have Eyes this is the place for you.(INCEST)

The crowd here is «interesting» to say the least. There are not enough tables in the place so expect to stand all night. The drinks are weak, stick with bottled beer. There are no waitress, only shot girls. The bars are usually busy to get in and out of because people linger by them but the beer troughs are quick and easy. The club will only open a tab with an actual credit card not debit so bring cash. All in all, as far as country bars go, it is pretty lame. They do have some good talent roll through for concerts though on occasion. That’s the only time I would recommending going. For a Saturday night drinking and dancing place, there are far better to be had.

I admit… I’ve driven past GCS and wondered what goes on inside those walls. Well, I recently had the opportunity to find out for myself. I was invited to a Wade Bowen concert. That’s Bowen, not Boggs. I kept thinking Wade Boggs and was fascinated that the former baseball great had become a country music artist. The place is huge… like monstrously large. Only the dance hall was open because of the show, but I could see the biker bar and karaōke lounge. The hippity hoppity club wasn’t visible… but I can live without that. The main hall is enormous and flanked by two large bars. The bartenders are friendly, fast, and highly proficient at their jobs. In the middle is a large dance floor. Graham Central Station taught me a few things… 1. Hillbilly girls… er, uh… female country music fans come in three distinct flavors. *30% are strikingly beautiful. *50% are ridiculously cute. *the remaining 20% percent look like linebackers in skinny jeans and scare the shit out of me. 2. Country music fans can dance their asses off! Seriously professional ‘Dancing with the Stars’ type of dancing on that floor! Everyone dances with each other, which leads me to the conclusion that in order to meet the favorable 80% of the hillbil… er, females, Tony needs to learn to dance. 3. From 8−10PM, beer is $ 2 and well drinks are $ 1. Those are the highlights. A few more facts I took away from my visit… –Wednesday night is bikini contest night. Score! –My jeans are way too loose and I need to tuck in my shirt. –Smoking IS allowed inside, but was never an issue. The ventilation is good. –The urinal cakes smell like Black and Milds. –Bring cash. –Some events are all ages, so when chatting up one of those 80%…or 20% if that’s your thing… make sure to check the hands. A big black X means jail-bait. When all is said and done, I must admit, I had a great time. The crowd is friendly and unpretentious. Parking is ample. The staff is great. It’s a pretty good live music venue, if you dig the country music. On a side note, Wade Bowen puts on an amazing show. To call him country is too narrow. He’s got a solid rock vibe and knows how to get people on their feet.
