The food is great, no doubt delicious breakfast tacos and salsa. They are quick thru the drive thru, however, it is so strange that the person taking payment and handing food does not utter a single syllable. What has happened to customer service. A simple«good morning, how are you today? Thank you». It just help start your day off right. But the utter silence tells me that person does not want to be at work and makes me question the quality of the product. There is a portion of that persons salary that is in the cost of my purchase and I like to feel like I got what I paid for. Pflugerville Taco Cabana, please look at your training process and find where the customer service aspect broke down. Every interaction is publicity.

My husband and I are a fan of Taco Cabana’s breakfast tacos, especially on our Friday when we’re out of work at 1:30am! The staff are friendly enough and don’t mess up! We always order a dozen breakfast tacos with 8oz red salsa and 8 oz pico. Other Taco Cabana’s make you pay for a Red Salsa, but this one says that 1 comes with it for free and then ofc we still order the 8oz of Pico. Sadly, last time we went their tortilla machine broke after we ordered so they only had corn left, which is not good. The flour however is delicious.

This particular location is horrible! The people are rude and every time I come here there is always something they are out of or don’t have, today it was sopapilla. The only reason I come back is because it’s close to home, however, after today and another bad experience, I’ll stop coming. Seriously managers, hire some nicer people who actually want to do their job.

This is horrible service, I have been sitting in the drive thru line for over 15 minutes. First off, when I pull to the speaker no one answered until after a good 3 minutes I asked if anyone was there and she said I still needed to wait. Finally when I went to take my order it was so hard to hear the woman I barely knew what to say. As I moved on I noticed that it was happening to every car they also had to wait for quite a while. As we pulled up to the window things started to go quickly but as it came to me I had to wait for another eight minutes just sitting at the window for my food. When you want fast food you expected to be fast this is very slow the service was horrible.

Not going to lie, I only come here with friends at 2AM after a long night downtown. They turn off the lights, so it looks closed and if harder to find. It actually is still open, you just have to go through the drive thru! They are almost ALWAYS out of MOST everything at this time of night. Our last visit there, the drive thru guy was extra friendly and really sympathized with us about a lot of the food not being available. He threw in a free drink and despite it being really late, kept a great attitude.

Needs to stop by more often. Something different from burgers and chicken. The chips were fresh and crispy. The cheese queso was hot and very flavorful. I would love to get a larger container. The chicken quesadilla was great. Very flavorful. I got various flavored salsa from the salsa bar. The ranch like salsa is my clear favorite.

The online app needs to enable cash payment during pickup. Also, the confirmation should be shown in the web page.

Sometimes you just need a serviceable fast food taco, and my go-to is Taco Cabana. They get bonus points for their tasty bfast tacos, free wi-fi, good salsa bar selection and happy hour specials. In the negative column, the food isn’t over the top amazing and yes, you’re going to get some winged visitors if you sit outside on the patio. Also the traffic around this location makes prevents a quick entrance/exit.

You need to take this place for what it is, a fast food taco establishment. Great for the fact that it open late night. Service is nice and quick. Came here with some friends last night to grab a quick bite. I wanted to originally order a taco plate – unfortunately they said they didn’t have that available. Ok – kinda weird especially due to the fact that I was able to order single tacos. I wound up ordering a chicken fajita plate for my boyfriend. Two tacos with sour cream, and some meat plate for myself. When we got home, food was nice and warm, however, both orders just seemed to be slopped into their containers. The meat dish was okay, not the best and not the worse, and the rice and beans weren’t quite up to my standards – but still edible. The tacos were pretty good but unfortunately they did not add any sour cream like I requested :( The chicken fajitas were pretty disgusting. We both tried a bite and then just threw It out. It was slimy and had a very weird taste to it. If I come back I’ll just stick to their tacos.

I have never ever wrote a review on here… But…I have to on this one!!! I went yesterday and went through the drive thru… or tried to go through the drive thru. I pull up and they said sorry are system just went down you will need to come in. Just a matter of fact. No apology. Just pull around. Think outside the box people. In and out burgers when they are busy take orders with out doing it through the speaker. Send someone out and Radio it in. You have headsets right!!! Managers step up to the plate!!! Think outside and do not inconvenience your customers!!! I have a broken leg. Otherwise I would have come in.

You done messed with the WRONG person wanting breakfast tacos TODAY. Oh Taco Cabana drive thru lady, you done messed with the *WRONG* person today! Ordered 2 barbacoa tacos and a Dr. Pepper. The lady just says«thank you» and never gives me my total. I get the to the window, she asks if I want salsa, I say«no», but she still never tells me my total. I give her my card, she RUNSIT and STILLNEVERTELLSMEMYTOTAL! I was like«hey, next time you should tell someone how much they owe *before* you take their money!» Then she was like, «What? You don’t have enough money on your card?» OHHELLNOSHEJUSTDIDN’T! I was like, «I have more than enough for some tacos. THAT’S NOTTHEPOINT. THAT’S NOTHOWYOUCONDUCT A TRANSACTION.» THEN, she was like, «Well, I gave you a receipt.» FUCKYOU, BITCH! THEN, she scoffed and rolled her fucking eyes at me. OHHELLLLNAW. I drove off, flipped her off, and immediately called the store and spoke to the manager, and I will now be posting this review on Unilocal.Fuck with ME.

Giving it 5 Stars for fast food tacos. Seem to be the only one in my tribe that likes Taco Cabana, but I like to eat here every chance I get. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Enjoy!

This location is a hit or miss. Sometimes you can get great tacos and sometimes you can get dried out old food with long black hairs in them.

If you can get past the fruit flies at the drink station and dont mind cleaning your own table its ok i guess… food is plentiful and ita tasty. Surprised me with the condition of the store. Customer service is good considering the lady in front of me cursed the cashier out over a burrito in a previous order.

I don’t normally leave a lot of reviews and I usually love Taco Cabana(it was the first place I stopped at after I moved back to Texas from NC after living there for a couple years). This place used to be the go to place especially late at night. Not anymore They just do not care one bit about anything there. The orders are never right and they never remember anything you ask for. Especially if you’re asking for extra things. Every time I have ordered a burrito there I have said no lettuce and have only maybe one time had no lettuce on it. After 10 tries in a row of them getting it wrong I’m just done.

Let’s not kid ourselves — breakfast tacos are a BIG deal here in Texas. This is an example of a frequent weekend conversation I have with my friends: Me: Who wants to go get breakfast tacos? Friends: Brunch? Me: May be. Does brunch involve breakfast tacos? Friends: Always. Me: Where to go? Friends: Anywhere that has breakfast tacos. Aaaaaaand then the debate begins and usually ends with Taco Cabana. They are also a good staple to bring to a float the river gathering in the morning to get a lil’ food in ya. I only gave 3 stars because I have my own most hearted breakfast taco joints which I’ll be creating a list for soon. TAOCS! TACOS! TACOS!!!

I live across the highway from this location. It’s my go to when I’m being lazy and/or wanting to make bad food choices. It’s a fast food joint so the expectations aren’t high to begin with. You get what you pay for. What do I pay for? Glad you asked. I always get the chicken fajita bowl with black beans & a side of the ranch(delicious!). Every now and then when I’m wearing my elastic waistband pants I’ll throw in some chips & queso. The queso is alright… Nothing to brag about. There’s better queso in Austin but when I’m lazy this gets the job done. Most of the time I go through the drive thru and the service is pretty quick. I can leave my apt, get my order, and make it back home in generally 15 minutes or less.

Came in for my usual Beef nachos because I was craving some good chips and queso. TC queso most of the time hits the spot. The chips are thin and crispy. The queso is flavorful with just the right amount of spice. I also love their salsa ranch. I used to order the super nachos but found that there was way too much going on. I’m simple just ground beef and cheese is all I need on my chips and I’m good to go!

I have mixed feelings about this Taco Cabana. More often than not, the people are nice and provide good customer service, and the food is cooked and prepared well. But lately, literally the past 3 times I’ve gone, they’ve forgotten to give me my orange juice. And the sad part is I don’t even realize it until I’m already at my destination, and it’s just too far to go back. While I know it’s silly that I couldn’t remember to make sure I got the drink, they should also get better at remembering to give people our drinks. The fourth time I went, I was also with a friend. He’s ordering through the drive thru and asks for orange juice, and the guy is like«Coke? Tea? Sprite?» And my friend is like nooooo orange juice. That happened twice. I swear, I thought he was just playin’ around but I was so confused at the same time. Basically, that happened until we got to the window and found that he actually didn’t hear orange juice at all. My point is, weird things happen regarding drinks at this Taco Cabana. A friendly tip? Just remember to get your drink. PS: I also got jipped on queso, guacamole, and sour cream. LAME.

Its TC. Simple. Consistent. And tasty. You ALWAYS want to double check your bags before you leave, but THIS particular location seems to have the LEAST mistakes on drive through orders out of all the TCs I’ve been to in all my years in Austin. I love their variety of salsas, and sauces. Customer service has always been good here, so overall, its my go to TC.
