Walked in to store at 8:54 pm. Did not have a prescription but had to get a Claritin D product that you have to get directly from pharmacy. Asked the girl at the front when I walked in if the pharmacy was still open and she said«yes ma’am for about 5 more minutes». Walked straight back to pharmacy and they already had closed all their windows. I looked at the time on my phone and it was 4 minutes til 9. A lady opened the pharmacy door and said rudely«we are closed, go to the pecan street location if you need something». I said to her that she still had 5 minutes until 9 and she shut the door in my face. HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE. Lazy. Perhaps this is part of the reason the military insurers dropped Walgreens altogether a few years ago.

Wow could not believe how long it took at the pharmacy. 5 people behind the counter and only one incompetent working the register…

Out of every walgreens I have ever been to, this is hands down the worst, and I don’t get it. Every time I go to the pharmacy, I have to wait ATLEAST15 minutes, even if I am the only customer. Almost every time, they tell me I don’t have insurance, which I do. I’m not sure what happens to that being on file, but I have to show my card every single time. I have switched my prescriptions to another location because I could not stand the wait or the headache I experienced each time I had to come here.

Just left there — waited FOREVER at pharmacy while staff laughing and joking. Staff finally came to counter without a smile or hi how can I help you … curtly asked if I was going to pick it up tomorrow … I said no I would like to get it today and rudely responded it will be at least 1 ½ — 2 hours. Had considered changing our scripts to Walgreens from a competitor pharmacy but with that lady made my decision for me! NOPE, NOTHERE!

The pharmacy department has a terrible track record. I can see a mistake every now and then but they messed time after time and one of the pharmacist is on a power trip with his rudeness. I started using the one at 1509 Wells Branch and they are great.

We had been using Walgreens for years before moving here. This 685 location is wonderful. About 6 months ago our insurance made a change and we could no longer use Walgreens for our prescriptions. We transferred to Wal-Mart also on 685. What a nightmare. Wal-mart was horrible so we went to CVS on Pecan. It was just okay. Not great, not terrible. CVS seemed to have a difficult time with getting our meds transferred and told us to bring each bottle in one at a time as we ran out! Terribly inconvenient. We now have new insurance and can once again go back to Walgreens. They made the necessary transfer of all our meds from CVS all in one day! Their pharmacist was so helpful as well as the techs. Fast, friendly, top notch service. I hope to never have to transfer again.
