Diamond Pizza

Made a simple order with special instructions — how HARD IS IT to follow the directions?! I don’t understand how they can mess up a simple order. Chicken salad and chicken quesadilla = 2 different things. I get accidents happen but it’s not an excuse. I call and they say they’re gonna send me my salad but tells me to give the quesadilla back… Never had that happen before usually they tell you to keep it because it’s their mistake… but ok. I didn’t wanna argue. I wait 20 minutes for my salad to arrive — losing my appetite at this point. They didn’t even give me the right dressing that I ASKED FOR. First time ordering from Diamond Pizza. Dont plan on it again. Your food is good but y’all need to start doing your JOB.

I love diamond pizza. Although they do take a while to prepare your food, the food is good once it arrives. They are usually really busy so customer service isn’t really the best. It’s in and out but overall it’s a good place.

Worst service I’ve ever experienced in my entire life. Even with the simplest order I find myself waiting upwards of 20 minutes for sub par food. Please do not go here I have even disappointed too many times

This place is awful. If there was a word more succinct than awful I would use it. Noxious pizza hellscape is an apt description. This place changes management all the time because the owners figure «it’s a pizza place near a college campus, it’ll be impossible to lose money.» But let me tell you, when your service is as bad as Diamond Pizza you absolutely can.
It’s as if the owners of this place googled «how to run a pizza shop» and stopped reading halfway through the first result.
Regularly, I’ll order a couple cheese slices to go and wait for 10 to 15 minutes. On 4 or 5 separate occasions they’ve simply forgotten about my order, clueless as to why I’ve been standing in their store for the past quarter of an hour. It’s not uncommon for the owners to lie directly to your face about when your order was put in the oven. Often times to even receive your food you’ll have to call them out for lying.
I can’t even count on both hands the number of times I’ve been handed my food at Diamond Pizza with the words «we’re really sorry about that» immediately following. These people are terrible.
Literally every time I go to Diamond Pizza I have a bad experience. Sometimes its the rotating cast of 19 year old girls behind the counter texting and ignoring the line. Sometimes it’s the $ 7 card minimum (conveniently $ 1 above the price of their lunch specials). The whole place reeks of attitude and ineptitude.
One of the last times i was in there the woman behind the counter made me wait 10 minutes while she patronized a mentally handicapped man, speaking to him like a child about his headphones. I felt insulted for him and embarrassed for her.
Often times I’ve seen «homemade» cookies in a bell jar near the counter. These are just Grandma’s Cookies taken out of the wrapper, put on a napkin and up-​charged by 100%. These people literally have no shame.
So let’s talk about their pizza. It’s not good. Average is a complement. The cheese is runny, the sauce is weak and the crust is basic. If you’re drunk or high it’ll do the trick, but this certainly isn’t up to the standards of even the most average Philly pizza.
Pazzo’s on Cecil B Moore just a few blocks south is far and above a much better pizzeria.
Just the other day I ordered 3 plain slices to go and waited the standard 25 minutes. They were given to me in a box with paper places between each slice. The cheese stuck to each of the plates, so as i removed them all of the cheese on my slices was removed too. I waited 25 minutes for 3 slices that came to me already ruined. There was no need for the paper plates, they were already in a box. I’ve suggested instead of paper plates they use wax paper multiple times because wax paper would avoid the situation i just described. But I guess they didn’t get that far in google searching yet.
Don’t go to Diamond Pizza. Tell your friends not to go to Diamond Pizza. Have your friends tell their friends not to go to Diamond Pizza.

New management is horrible. Called to order their cheese steak lunch special, lady that answered was very rude and told me lunch special ends at 3 even though it ends at 4. She failed to inform me that the lunch special ends at 3 under the new management so I did not order anything since I felt like she was lying to me since I called at 3:47. New lunch specials are horrible. I no longer recommend this place. Only reason I used to buy cheese steak from it was because of their lunch special, since it is not longer here I will be taking my business somewhere else.

I miss the old management. New lunch specials are awful and an hour shorter. No more dollar slices. Takes 20 minutes to get a cheese slice sometimes. They changed a working formula.
I’ll be taking my business to philly style for pizza or philly central for cheesesteaks.

I love this place. I live around the corner and come here all the time when I want a slice of pizza or a shake.
For the 2014 Super Bowl, I ordered 2 pizzas and found out they gave me one of the wrong pizzas. When I went back, they took the pizza back, which I’m pretty sure is 100% against health code.
Also, their loaded cheese fries only have that fake nacho cheese stuff on them, no real cheese as other pizza places in the area do.

I love the chicken quesadillas here, their amazing! Being a California native who knows real Mexican food I was surprisingly impressed! I have not had any other food from this place so I can’t speak about that, but the chicken quesadilla with jalepenos. so delicious! The one down side is they are a bit slow, hence the three starts instead of four! Go owls!

i really wanted to like this place because of the location. I paid 20 bucks for a small, cold, thin hard disc of dough and cold cheese. I could not even tell what toppings were on it. i ordered meat lovers but what i got was a mass of vague toppings that i couldn’t make out what was what. The delivery took over an hour by the time the pizza man came i was so hungry and when i opened the box i was so disappointed it was stiff, cold and congealed. I called back and they told me they were closed for the night and that i could just «put it in the microwave «with a monotone, non caring voice. He did say he could offer me 25% off my next order or a free drink. (Are you kidding? That’s it??) I really cannot believe this, I also got a cup of ice cream with my order the cup wasn’t even halfway full. It was just two small scoops. If you want to lose weight eat here because the portions are very tiny and non existent.

Took over an hour for delivery of an already cold pizza to arrive. Other than that, the actual pizza itself wasn’t bad. Would have enjoyed it more if it was actually hot.

Best meat lovers pizza! The crust is also fantastic and I’m not even that big of a crust person. Not really sure why it’s so expensive to get a custom made pizza though. I live right next to this place so it makes it pretty convenient when I’m having the late night munchies.

Just order a green pepper cheese steak with fried onions, but it was great, good service, I saw they have nice discounts for students, just found their website

Employees greeted my friends and I so warmly from the second we walked through the door! So friendly. Their service was fast, and food was great. Pizza is very thick with lots of cheese and a crisp crust. Definitely unique taste in the local pizza biz.

Pretty good for the price, and the BBQ chicken pizza is really great
