Small, easy-​to-​find store. Very friendly and professional.
I brought in a wood-​framed mirror that I needed to wire to hang horizontally, and she got right to work. I expected to pay $ 5-​$ 10 and would have been happy to leave it overnight. But it only took a minute and she didn’t charge me at all.

I brought in a picture that needed the mat trimmed to accommodate my print. I needed it that day and they were able to help me. They did a beautiful job and were very reasonably priced. I even looked around the house for other pictures that needed attention. Highly recommend this local business.

I’ve had many things framed here and I have been very happy with all the work that was done. One of my objects was at least 3 feet by 5 feet to frame. The owner helped me pick out just the right matting and framing to get the effect i was looking for. I brought back three very delicate, old fashion/​clothing sketches from France and he framed them perfectly for me. I’ve gotten so many compliments on them, framing made all the difference!

I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience at Fairmont Framing. Yes, custom framing isn’t cheap. Never. However, I felt that prices here were very reasonable, and there was no pressure to spend more. I asked the owner’s opinion on which glass looked better with my print, and he said the cheaper version, and I agreed with him. I am super happy with the final project.
I would return, and I have already recommended the place to friends.

I’m probably somewhere between Dave J. and GT L. on this one — though Fairmount isn’t crazy expensive for framing, it is worth it to get a few options before you get rung up and try a bunch of different frames before committing — the one they pick out for you could run up the bill — but they have enough selection (and high-​quality selection at that) that you can get things framed at a square price. The turn-​around time is usually pretty quick, and the sales staff is helpful picking things out.

I love the work they do here. I’ve been to other places – many of them over the years, in fact – and I don’t think any of those places have done the kind of work Fairmount Framing does. Beautiful, professional – and relatively inexpensive considering what framing costs.
