A fun place for neighborhood kids to play. No dogs allowed so that takes out the poop factor.
Looking forward to the trees getting taller so there is more shade!
Would love to see more trees actually– or a water feature? Perhaps better management of the plants along the mural wall and home?
Something to take up some space.
Ok nitpicking aside its a great park. On a nice day perfect for a picnic, or a chat with a neighbor over some coffee.

Okay, I understand the no dogs thing because they want it to be free off dog poop for kids to play. But HEY it’s the only grass in the area, and occasionally a dog poops somewhere you don’t exactly want them to. A GREAT way to avoid having this park be a mess is adding a trash can! I know the park originally wanted a the solar trash cans, but seriously if it’s going to take that long for one of them (when they’re really not even that great) let’s just settle for the classic kind and keep the park cleaner with it.

Julian Abele Park is a terrific addition to the area! Great place to walk the dogs or just hang and relax on the benches. It is in need of some love though. The grass is pretty bad, I guess the dogs aren’t too polite. And the next door builders are really messing with the sidewalk on the Carpenter side.
