We planned a semi last minute dinner for a party of 11 the night before our wedding this past week and it was fantastic. The apps, the entrees, dessert, and service was great! I can’t say enough good things! I should also mention my family is Italian so coming from us, it’s the real deal. We will be back for sure!

Mainstream Italian — Our experiences in Philadelphia were underwhelming, and we chose this for lunch because it had high review numbers on Open Table. It did not measure up to the 4.5 it was given, but it was definitely a decent meal. My spouse disliked her pizza — it was a bit on the doughy and soft side — but the rest of our meal was good, and certainly enjoyable.

Exceptional Italian food and good portions. Loved the lasagna although somewhat disappointed we didn’t have bread offered at the start of the meal. Good wait service but the hostess was not welcoming or well receiving. Thankfully the food was great and the atmosphere was perfect.

Loved this restaurant! First Ryan our server was great — made me a peach Long Island Ice Tea to die for after a hot day! We started with roasted baby artichokes with prosciutto and cheese which was delightful. That was followed by Fusilli with shrimp, scallops and crabmeat all in a fabulous vodka cream sauce. Rob had lasagna and said it was excellent. We took peanut cheesecake back to the room for a treat later. Very short distance from Independence Hall. Highly recommend the place and say Hi to Ryan — hope the place recognizes his talent!

What makes this place cool is the happy hour menu. I think it is pretty awesome — beers for $ 2.50; cocktails for $ 5 and apps under $ 5. The food and service are good and consistent. I feel most of the menu is affordable and it’s usually good diners there as well — you know how that can affect the vibe of a place.
Give them a try — I like them and will definitely return.

The food was good, the service was good, and it had good atmosphere. It wasn’t anything special but definitely a place I would recommend and would go back to.

This place is good for a group since they have a comfortable back room that can be reserved at no additional cost. The staff is accommodating and the prices are very affordable especially considering the huge size of the entrees. All of the pasta dishes are enough to serve at least three people. The clam bacon pizza sounded good in concept but the execution of it left a lot to be desired. This place is good for the price and the atmosphere but certainly not a knock your socks off kind of place.

The food — We ordered the Margherita and Marinara pizzas. Both were good, not special. They were only $ 12 and they tasted like they should only cost $ 12, so no disappointment there. My waiter had an unusually difficult time understanding that there is a difference between club soda and tonic water, then brought me a well gin and soda that cost $ 9. So, the alcohol is disproportionately expensive compared with the food.
The venue — This is a dimly lit bar and restaurant. Could easily be presented with a more upscale theme, but they give it a casual feel by showing sports networks on 6 – 7 TVs around the place. The place is clean. They were sporadically playing music, off and on. Place was about 30% full on a Wednesday night.

After visiting Independence Hall we stopped in for an Italian dinner. The smell of garlic when walking in was warm and inviting and got me excited for my meal. I really enjoyed the olive oil/​garlic/​balsamic dip that came with the bread. We started with the meatball appetizer that was bland. I don’t think there was any seasoning at all. For dinner I had the fettuccine with goat cheese which looked amazing, however it also was bland and disappointing. My boyfriend had the boulangase and that tasted much better. I ended up sharing his dinner. Nice service, buy I wouldn’t go back.
