Why is this place even allowed to serve people? Holy crap. All I wanted was a large drink. The Coke machine didn’t work, so I go to the register and the lady said Coke works… great but I dont want Coke. I asked for a refund and then she told the manager — who turned around and said «well the Coke still works»…dumb ass people. Getting it through to them that I didn’t want a Coke but wanted a Sprite was too complicated of a task. And good lord don’t ask for a refund, you might not make it out of there alive. The shittiest, nastiest, most disgusting McDonald’s, ever. They don’t even deserve a 1 star but you have to in order to proceed with this damn review

Why is this McDonald’s even open. They’re trying to make market East a nicer place this is an example of why market east will never be a better place

not good there was lots of cursing in the kitchen and restrooms just look like puke horrible experience

Refused to give us items that were on our receipt, wanted us to pay for their mistakes, got our orders wrong, out of everything we wanted to order– even bottled water, no bathrooms, and gave us a hard time even about ketchup that was «in the bag» but wasn’t. Never using this location again, avoid at all costs.

Food was nice and hot. They were out ice. The only bad thing I have to say about my first visit at this location.

I’d like to thank Iesha, the manager for correcting an order that was wrong with a free meal. Caramel frappé was redone to perfection at no cost, plus I got free fries. It’s great that they amend their mistakes. Still some work to do, though.

I stopped in to grab a quick sandwich before jumping on the train. The employee working the register spent several minutes macking on a chick before he even looked at me. I just stood there looking like an idiot while a group of teenage girls were snickering. The register area was filthy and the kitchen would give any self respecting employee nightmares.
This place is really an embarrassment to Center City.

I have been to a lot of McDonald’s in my time, all over the country and this is, without doubt, the absolutely worst McDonald’s I ever have been to, may be the worst fast food eatery ever. No coffee, no ice, bathroom was busted, no chicken, no ice tea, everything was broken. It was run down and awful, but to add, the staff was horrific, especially the extremely rude girl who took my order. Fire the staff and tear it down. I didn’t think McDonald’s even let their restaurants get this bad. STAY AWAY!!!

Came in to order 3 large fries. Simple and plain, right? When I received the order, each of them were not filled to the brim! I mean I paid $ 7 to get 3 freaking large fries, not 3 inadequate amount of large fries. Asked the manager to fill in more to the bag, and she just nudged her counter staff to tell me that I can get a refund instead and refused to add a few more strands of fries. What kind of manager hides behind the kitchen to deal with crisis?

I won’t echo any of the pessimism that nearly every other reviewer has stated, but I will mention that the only memorable thing that I witnessed at this McDonald’s was a trio of women exiting out of the only working public restroom (at the time.) All eyes were on them as they stumbled out the front door.
The women were dressed like they were ready for a night out at the Hard Rock Café, but somehow ended up at McDonalds. Definitely an oddity and a travesty.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat after an afternoon of boozing but first I had to use the restroom because I had broken the seal previously. I went in the men’s room and someone had written on the wall in FECES «Mcpoop burgers» I was mortified. This should have been a red flag for me but being as I was pretty sauced up I still placed an order. When I sat down and unwrapped my quarter pounder it was then when I realized why someone had written Mcpoop burgers as I’m pretty sure my burger was just a huge turd.

The food is not upto the standard of most Mcdonalds. You need to be having great patience to deal with the staff here coz they don’t respond that well to your questions.

This is THE Worst Mcdonalds I’ve ever been in! That’s saying something considering every city McDonalds is horrendous.
It’s like eating in a homeless shelter in this particular store.
There’s literally homeless people in front of the door begging. Stinking to hell. And just ruining your experience of Center City. You’re waiting in line and hungry souls looking like the cast of the walking dead is staring your food down.
Is it possible they perfected begging telepathically?
When you step inside I swear to God it’s so Dirty you realize why Homeless people feel at home there. It smells like a few homeless people died there and no one has found their body.
I ordered a Steak Egg bagel which was so old I swear it was made yesterday morning.
How could it possibly be this stale if I’m here 7am in the morning???
I’m never going to mcdonalds again.
They should be ashamed.
Dirty work stations. Dusty looking employees looking like they couldn’t care less if they tried. One was even tucking her shirt in. Try to be a little more professional Sharkiesha.
If I could give a negative starred review I would. DO NOT GO HERE.

This McDonald’s has a great location and the food is okay. It gets quite busy at times but it’s a good value.

Yup, it’s all true. Dirty, long lines of deadbeat customers, aggressive panhandlers, rude and unfriendly service, variable quality, etc… Sometimes the fries are hot and the bag is full, and sometimes they are luke warm and the bag is half full.
The prices on the menu on the wall are wrong. I read that a small soda was $ 1, but the cash register girl rang it up at $ 1.40. When I pointed out that the menu on the wall said a small soda was $ 1 she told me the menu is wrong.
I saw a dead cockroach on the floor.
Just go somewhere else. This place is disgusting.

Often disappointed. Their coupons are mostly nonsense. You get a free sandwich when you buy a sandwich, but not if you buy a combo.
Their burgers are ‘made with 100% real beef’. See the ‘with’ in there? that means that even though the beef is 100 percent beef, its not the only ingredient in the burger.
Sure sounds like its only beef though. Weird. What else is in it? Why tell us that their beef is 100% beef? What else could their beef be?
Their fries are not vegetarian and have wheat and dairy. So much for being potatoes, fried in oil.

I have never been more petrified as I was in this McDonald’s. (you can see my last mcdonald’s review was scary… but this place SERIOUSLY made the worst Boston McDonald’s look like Burlington, VT Applebee’s)
Why was breakfast served until 11am on a weekday?
I was one of maybe 20 people in the place… I would estimate that 4 weren’t homeless meth addict hookers. no joke, it was scary. i put my hoodie on and started my little twitchy-​fake-​crazy routine so that people didn’t suspect me of having an actual wallet.
Just don’t go there… unless you are a meth addict who wants a 10am breakfast.

Desperate times calls for desperate measures. I was thirsting for some iced coffee so I stopped by this McDonald’s. Bad mistake.
There was one line for two cashiers. I already saw this as a bad sign. But being polite, I stayed in the one line. However the other customers ahead of me where pretty dumb about what a line is and how it functions. One of the girls in line just stood there, even as the cashier was available to take her order.
To sum up, service was slow and the customers here were dumb. Including myself since I was dumb enough to come here. Avoid this McDonald’s if you can!

I had very low expectations and somehow this McDonald’s didn’t even live up to them.
All I wanted were fries– hot, salty, fresh french fries. But I knew that fries alone wouldn’t fill me so I got a grilled chicken ranch salad in addition to my order of fries. I had to wait for a while for my food because the woman in front of me requested no salt fries so the entire kitchen staff (I’m not kidding) was busy trying to deal with this special request. I finally got my food and left. When I got back to work and sat down to eat, I realized after my first bite that they had given me the no salt fries as well. Huge bummer. I tried to salt them myself, but even though the fries were a «fresh» batch, they were soggy and undercooked and even with the salt, were still nothing like what I wanted.
So I moved on to my salad, which was just ehh. I should know better than to get a salad from McDonald’s, but I was trying to be ‘healthy’ so I could eat my fries and not feel bad. The lettuce was crisp and fresh and the other veggies were crunchy, however the chicken they put on top was dry and stringy and not at all appetizing.
On top of the sub-​par food (even for McDonald’s standards), the store itself feels very disgusting. I tried not to touch anything, even the doors on the way out, and yet I still felt like I needed a shower after leaving.

The time is 9:00 pm. A young Indian male named Jeff walks up to the door and pulls only to find it locked. Inside, he notices two McDonald’s employees (one of them the manager) flirting with two very unattractive women whose only redeeming qualities are that one could use her backside as a shelf. The two women are let out by the manager. Jeff is visibly disturbed at how they (the women) keep looking at the man in what one can only assume are meant to be looks of seduction while they eat their ice cream sloppily. Jeff looks at the hours of operation sign which states that they are open until 10:00 pm.
[Jeff]: Are you closed? :\
[Manager]: Yeah.
[Jeff]: The sign says 10.
[Manager]: We’re closing because no one wants McDonald’s right now.
[Jeff]: I’m. right. here. (actually raises hand)
[Manager]: … (locks door and walks off)
[Jeff]: … (stands there in stunned silence)
[Unattractive woman]: (giggles)
