One of the best boutiques in Philadelphia-great designers and friendly, helpful staff that are not pushy. I ended up buying a pile of clothes from them a few months ago when they had a huge sale. Definitely a place I’d shop at again when I’ve got a few extra dollars to spend.

Knit Wit’s sister store is beautifully curated, with seasonal fashions on the first floor and a second floor sale room. Don’t miss the sample sale racks — $ 25 for coated jeans, unique tops, and other finds from Plage & Knit Wit! Sales managers were friendly and helpful, they even held a sale dress for me to try on at a later date. Selections change quickly and at these blowout prices they don’t stay for long.

Im so glad I found Plage Tahiti. On a day off I decided to take a walk downtown and stumbled across this great place. The merchandise is so cute and unique. They carry lots of labels including J Brand, Alexander Wang, Halston, and Michael Stars(just to name a few). While there, I fell in love with a pair of coated J Brand jeans. Unfortunately, they didn’t have my size. Fortunately, the nice ladies who work there located the pants at their sister store Knit Wit. Very helpful!!! Im very satisfied with my purchase and definitely will return to make a future purchase!

I love the vibe of this small shop and the merchandise is gorgeous. Perfect cruise-wear, beach wear and summer/spring wear. Pricey — but unique and fun.

It’s Knit Wit’s baby brother! Even though the clothing is way less unique and expensive as around the corner and a few blocks down, the staff is just as obnoxious and pushy. It’s in between South Moon Under and Knit Wit — has a ton of jeans and ts(everything from Michael Stars, Ella Moss, Generra) to work wear and weekend clothes like theory, Trina Turk, Rebecca Taylor. There’s also a fair selection of shoes, accessories and jewelry, but be prepared to shell out a little more cash in those categories. While most of the staff can be tough, a couple of the younger girls are really sweet and helpful if approached with a direct question(«can you help me find a little black dress for a cocktail party at the kimmel center?»). And of course, living up to its name, there’s a lot of swimwear, especially toward the summer months.

It is a good thing I didn’t know this place was affiliated with Knit Wit before I walked through the door — I think they may be owned by the same people, as I walked out carrying Knit Wit bags & dress covers, & there were Knit Wit event flyers in the store.(See my Knit Wit review to know why I’d snub an affiliate). Plage Tahiti is a cute little boutique with filled with clothes and accessories apropos to the name of the store. The clothes are rather fun, but not outrageous, and have an grown-up feel to them without being dowdy. Its got great bathing suits for the summer season & pretty pretty dresses for a fancy occasion(I happily walked out with a chic Vera Wang dress to wear to the Met opera, compliments of the boyfriend)! Outside of the dresses, the clothes(flowing linen trousers, wrap dresses, stylish relaxed tops) seemed to be an upscale casual. Similar to Knit Wit, the sales associates can be a little over-attentive when you’re browsing, but in the end it rather worked to my advantage when I was torn between two dresses & needed every opinion possible on which to choose. I didn’t make it to their upper level but it appeared that they had a selection of denim & more casual items. I’ll more than likely return in the future, and report on it!

if you crave chic, stylist, non cookie cutter clothing then head here. its small and a little intimidating but don’t let that deter you, once you ask the sales people are very helpful and they know their shit. its pricey but you get what u pay for, its a philly must
