Pretty darn good! It was a wide selection and pretty good for the price! AYCE is awesome! I’m going to miss this place, so!

I have gone here twice now and both times were a disappointment. One time our sushi was mostly composed of warm rice that was falling apart while we ate it. Another time they forgot to give me my soup and billed us for it anyway and then made a stink about taking it off the bill. Also their pricing is ridiculous. You can get way better quality sushi in Bensalem or North East Philly for half the price of this place.

Sad to say this but they are out of business, just called the Marlton NJ location and that’s what they said :-(

I’m not sure if this place is still in business or not. I arrived at 7:30pm on Wednesday and its closed.

This place is awesome! Fresh sushi, made to order, all you can eat. There are lots of options on the all you can eat menu including appetizers and cooked items. Buffet is available on the weekends too, but if you love sushi, that’s the way to go!

If you like sushi buffet i recommend this place. I just when there yesterday the place is clean and restroom is clean also. The sushi is fresh. The price is $ 20.50 kind the high but if you see the dish that you order is good quality. I like this place next time I will bring my friends too

When you want sushi… come here! When you’re hungry and you crave for good food… come here! When you want to eat like a monster and feel like a beast after you eat… COMEHERE! Lol. Seriously, all you can eat buffet and they serve sashimi(Yup you don’t have to hide those rolls of rice balls under your plates anymore! Yes you! :]). This place was opened after the sushi kingdom in NJ. I really liked the NJ one too! So glad they opened one in Philly! I’ve been to a lot of sushi buffets and this one(plus the NJ Sushi KD) is THEBOMB!

I’ve been to the one in Jersey too and I think they’re about the same but you just need to know what to order. The first time I came in I was super hungry and greedy and just ordered everything… then I was dissatisfied. The 2nd time I came here I ordered certain items and I loved it. It’s basically all you can eat for around ~23. I recommend getting the sashimi– my favorites are salmon and white tuna(FYI: when you write 1 piece = 1 slice or 1 roll), seaweed salad, garden salad, beef noodle, salmon avocado hand roll– huge salmon and avocado pieces), miso soup, squid salad, crab salad, beef skewer). That’s all I can remember for now but take your time eating because you can order as much as you want! Everything is made to order and comes out pretty quickly. Comes with dessert too(they have green tea if you’re a fan). They also have a separate buffet bar with crab legs, oysters, mussels– not the best but it’s okay– I would take a few pieces to try but not the main focus. Pretty big place and I didn’t have to wait to get seated on a Sat. night. It’s right by franklin mills mall.

At most all you can eat places, food is pretty average. Sushi kingdom is no different. My friend and I came on a tuesday around 5 and it was extremely dead. The waitress seated us and gave us the option of ordering from the menu or choosing from the all you can selection. They gave us two different papers. One paper had a list of apps/soups/salads. The other paper was filled with different sushi options. Since it was all you can eat, my friend and I went a little hand heavy on what we checked of. The apps selections were a lot of your typical fried tempuras, and seaweed/crab salad. Nothing really special about the menu. But what can you expect from an all you can eat place? For sushi, we just ordered standard sushi. Shrimp tempura roll, spicy tuna roll etc. Again, average sushi rolls. The food came out quickly. However, we were the only ones in the restaurant. If you are going out to eat in the middle of the week and want sushi but don’t want to go anywhere special then this place is okay. If you are a sushi eating master however, this place isn’t for you.

Came here just the other day with my significant other and I have to say, it’s not that bad. You get pretty much the whole AYCE sushi experience, minus the strings attached(long wait times, for absolutely no reason, or wasteful presentation we don’t really care for at an AYCE). Once we came in, we were quickly seated and given our sheets to order what we wanted. We generally wanted to try everything and for the most part, we liked everything to an extent. As hard-core sushi goers, we have high standards of what sushi should taste like or what we prefer. We’re both also servers of high-end sushi restaurants, but we’re always nice and know what it’s like to be servers, so we’re maybe a little biased. For the most part, service was ok, but then again, you’re really limited to what you can do in this restaurant anyway(hand them sheets of paper, walk away, grab the sheets and given them what they ordered). Now for the food: although the appetizers were just okay, the fish is VERY fresh! The sushi rice was just also okay too though, but from there, we just ordered more sashimi than sushi. Fish to rice ratio is very fair and you could plop them into your mouth, no sweat! We didn’t bother wasting our time with the special rolls, since we’re not big fans of different rolls doused in a plethora of sauces anyways. No review there, sorry! We ordered basically our money’s worth before getting full. The chefs were extremely fast with the orders, despite it being half full of huge parties(and it’s a huge place!) so we’re very happy about the wait-time. We were full within an hour(an AYCE-first) because of the fast team making our food. Would definitely come back again if we’re ever in the area. Price-wise, pretty similar to that of any other AYCE place in Philly for two people, but as for location, being next to the Franklin Mills is a plus at least, and the fact that you don’t have to fight for parking. I think overall, it evens out.

The only reason I come here is for the fresh made to order rolls, for $ 20.50 on a weekday is not bad, considering how much sushi is in other non buffet places. The service here is mediocre, sometimes even slow even though it’s not busy. And what I noticed is that when our plate comes to our table, some of the rolls aren’t even there, like our order was cut short. I also love white tuna and when I order it, the slices are cut so thin, but you get what you pay for. The red bean and green tea ice cream is great, I always order two. I’ll be back, only because the sushi and ice cream here is so good!

If you’re going to drop $ 50-$ 60 for two people who are just moderately hungry — you can definitely spend the same amount at a higher end sushi restaurant and still be full. It’s nice to have the all-you-can-eat concept BUT you can only eat so much right? They seated us as soon as stepped in during a slow night and handed us sheets to mark off what we wanted. We ordered a little bit of everything from the appetizer side and 3 – 4 sushi rolls. Even with the majority of the restaurant being empty, the two waitresses didn’t fill up our water glasses and forgotten when we asked. The appetizers came out fairly quickly and tasted fine. The Yellowtail roll we ordered tasted a bit off so we left most of that sitting on our plate. Everything was going fairly well for our impromptu dinner date — until the waitress came to remove our plates in the end. She decided to give us an off-handed remark to order what we can eat and not waste food(the nasty yellowtail roll). I was taken aback since we were pretty nice customers to begin with and who was she as the waitress SERVING us to make such an admonishing statement? And secondly, we were PAYING customers who weren’t even eating their money’s worth that night. And third, why should I finish a roll that might make us sick? So when the check came, I gave her less tip than usual for the poor/rude service(and I am very generous tipper) and noted«well I guess I can’t waste my money like that either».

Decent appetizer selection. The format here is similar to other all you can eats: they give you a sheet of paper and you fill out what you want. The selection is so big, there is actually two different sheets: one just for apps/starters, and another for just rolls. The thing I don’t like about this place is that the service can be slow. And I understand it can be confusing, but it’s not rocket science. The waitress even came to our table to ask us what we ordered and showed us a sheet that was not ours. They seems extremely understaffed. I had to ask multiple times for a cup of water. If you are looking to get sashimi, good luck. They are a bit cheap about it and it takes forever to come out. Appetizers come out fairly quick, but sushi takes awhile. The quality here is somewhat decent, but definitely not worth the wait. You’re better off at Sakura, which is about 5 minutes up the street. Not all you can, but definitely better service and quality. The one good thing about this place is that it is ByOb. We also came there as a birthday and did bring our own cupcakes. The waitress was kind enough to give us individual containers for our cupcake to take home. Never hurts to ask! Bottom line: if patience is your virtue, give it a try. But look around you. There’s gotta be reason this place is kind of empty…

How can they have only three people making sushi at an All You Can Eat Sushi bar?!? We’ve been waiting 40 mins right now and when I look around… So is everyone else. They should’ve smartened up and had several more chefs for a place this big on fathers day. Three sushi chefs and three waiters? No. The food? I would recommend just goin to the regular sushi joint. You’ll pay the same price for better food.

We celebrated a birthday here last night so if you were there, sorry! We were the loud and a bit crazy ones! The set up of this place is pretty nice. Very roomy; hey didn’t squeeze a bunch of tables together which I like. They have a private room where we probably should have been and more smaller tables in another room. We did make reservations since we had 15 people so our table was ready when we arrived. They charged us for 16 people. I don’t know if that because it might have been the number reserved or they miss counted since we were all over the place but they did fix it. We had a birthday cake and the girl brought it out near the end. in it’s box??? Then fixed that. The sushi was alright the rice was thin on the rolls which is good so you don’t get too full and can eat more fish. The tempura stuff was a bit oily for me. Their sushi & kitchen menu is the same as the old location. I think it’s time to change up some of the special rolls don’t you think? I don’t like that most of the special rolls are tempura or crab which I am not a fan of. Oh! Their sweet & sour soup was actually sour! That was good! I don’t think the sushi was good enough for me to come back for it but I’m sure we’ll have another party here. And BYOB with a Wine & Spirit next door.

Mediocre at best. Service: Could be better. There were only 2 waitresses on staff but there wasn’t a lot of people eating since it was a late dinner so I wouldn’t say they were extremely busy so I don’t understand how no one checked on us for water or grabbing/giving us the order sheets. Majority of the night, my glass was empty and I had to flag down a waitress again and again for a refill or ask for an order sheet. Food: The appetizers are okay. I was disappointed at most of the appetizers I ordered. Like the calamari, it taste like store-bought frozen calamari that have been in the fryer for too long. The chicken katsu was dry and bland. The shrimp tempura had too much batter that I couldn’t taste the shrimp. The variety of specialty sushi was boring. It is basically the same rolls with an different ingredient. So you might as well stick with the basics and simple rolls or just eat sashimi. Overall: Would I go again? Probably not by my own suggestion. I would go if a group of my friend decide to go if we are in the area but I would rather spend an extra $ to go somewhere better.

This restaurant is near the Franklin mills mall which is easy to find. When we first saw the restaurant, we thought it was closed because the parking lot was nearly empty and it seemed very dark. But once inside it is quite nice. They serve all you can eat sushi buffet. From Monday to Thursday is only 20.99 which is very reasonable/actually great. I must say the quality of the sushi was very good. It is the best sushi I have ever tried in Philly, Ohio,…US so far. The sashimi was fresh. The appetizers were a plus. Don’t miss the BBQ squid, we killed that. Would definitely go back. During Wednesday afternoon they only had one chef and one waitress, but we did not have to wait long for food. Recommend going on weekday rather than weekend. After our first bites, we were in love.

Food is delicious. Disregarding how it looks from the outside, it’s very nice and clean on the inside. Food is fresh, flavorful and consistent. This this my fourth visit and satisfaction never fails. All you can eat special rolls? For almost 24 dollars? Sounds good to me when specialty rolls somewhere else is $ 15. I highly recommend this restaurant. I hope they start getting more customers in !

Way better serve than the one in Marlton, NJ. Everyone were very nice and the food were freshly made. As of right now not many people because it’s brand new. I’ll feel like a VIP for the next few months. I’m really happy that I don’t have to go all the way to Jersey just for sushi.

This place is great. There are two options when you eat here. You can order off of their full menu, or choose the all you can eat menu. When you choose the all you can eat option, you get a sheet with all of their all you can eat items. This includes sushi rolls, sashimi, tempura, and many other delicious Japanese staples. You write down the number of orders you want on the sheet. Everything is made when you order it, so it’s not a traditional buffet. We got the shumai, gyoza, shrimp and veg tempura, miso soup, mushroom soup, and a bunch of assorted sushi rolls. Everything was tasty. They encourage you to only order what you can eat, but you can take your leftovers home for an additional price. The service was fast and our server was very friendly. The overall look of the place is very nice and inviting. Will definitely be going back.
