My pet peeve about Citizens Bank Park has always been their available selection of good beer, or, more precisely, lack thereof. I used to get infuriated thinking about paying $ 7.50 for Miller Lite. Well, no more! Where the Chikie’s and Pete’s stand used to be, they’ve set up a beer stand called the Irish Pub that has a very nice collection of beers (too numerous to enumerate them here). My favorites are Guinness, Leffe, and Hoegaarden. I now go out of my way to buy all my beer from here. FYI, a cup of Guinness on draft will cost you $ 8.75, but compared to a $ 7.50 Miller Lite, it’s a bargain!
