Expensive and terrible service. Got ignored by welcome staff, and then passed over blatantly for someone who arrived after I did. Had to ask manicurist to put clean gloves on after last person’s pedicure. Wait was twice as long as I was promised, both before and during my gel removal(did a Half-hour manicure on someone else after telling me she would be back in 15). One woman left after waiting without any word on when she would be helped. Single manicurist on staff was overworked, don’t blame her but blame the greeters over promising her services. Do not recommend.

If I could give less than a star for the manicure I received I would. The employees at Terminal C were great and called over to Terminal F to see if the nail tech was available(the wait at Terminal C exceeded the time I had available). I was told there was no wait and proceeded directly to Terminal F; I didn’t even have to wait for the transport shuttle. Upon arrival, I was told there was a 15 min wait. I should have turned away, but proceeded to wait because I desperately needed to get my nails done before a business meeting. 25 min later, the nail tech finally arrived to do my manicure. To start, no one bothered to ask if I had gel on so she didn’t starting soaking my nails until I had been there for 25 min. Then she informs me — AFTER she’s removed the polish — that there is a $ 20 charge to remove gel! Too late to go back now. She proceed with the manicure using tools that were last sanitized who knows when(yuck). This is hands down the absolute worst manicure I’ve ever paid for. She didn’t remove my hangnails, my cuticles are still a mess and the eyes of my nails were ragged. There was no time for polish which may have masked the most egregious misses so now I’m out $ 50 and I’ve got to pay more to get this mess fixed. Tl;dr worst manicure EVER. Avoid this place at all costs.

Had a delay in Philly so thought I would hit the spa, well they had NO available to do any appointments for an hour — looked like only one technician on staff!

Just tried a 30 minute foot massage at this place. I am traveling to New York City with a 3 hour lay over in Philly. I am so glad it did the foot massage. My feet feel like dancing and u am planning on doing that when I get to New York City… you see I am going for a Wedding. They offer more than massages, but that is all I tried… you have to try for yourself. You deserve it!!!

Spa in the Airport? Yes please. The woman at the front was very helpful and kind. I was waiting for my flight(derp) and wanted to get a massage. The massage therapist was booked until my flight was set to leave. The woman that worked the front desk offered me a massage chair, and chopped it up with me while I got my massage on.

Had a fantastic neck and back massage by laurel while waiting for my flight. I was worried that it would be a quick fluff and buff, but she did a fantastic job and I felt amazing afterward!

We always go when we have time at the airport. In general they do a nice quick refreshing massage. People are always nice.

You get just what you need here. I had a long day waiting for US Air to fix the seats on a plane, repair some other mechanical parts, and get the plane out of the hanger —you get the idea, and I’ll stop complaining. I was tired of loitering, running from gate to gate to see if the plane was out of the hanger, and I was getting grumpy. So, this was a great find for me. I had a chair massage while at the same time getting a wonderful foot massage. For a little over $ 50 Malcolm massaged my feet and hands and gave me a wonderful moisturizer for my dry hands(thanks to the lack of water while waiting for my long-overdue flight — oops, there I go again). It was well worth the money I spent. I almost forgot about the flight delay, the missed meeting in Toronto, and the complaints I need to express to USAir. I got immediate service, well-deserved attention, and speedy results. I wish all airports had an XpresSpa.

Poor scheduling service. They lied about calling my cell and didn’t even offer to accommodate me. I would avoid this stop.

SUPEREXPENSIVE! But worth it! Massages, mani/pedi, and really interesting and professional staff! Super clean. The one near terminal A is really small, one chair, one person. So head over to terminal C if you have enough time and money to kill!

I actually needed to get my nails done and I hadn’t had the time to go before my trip, but I had an annoying 8 hour layover in the Philly airport so it was nice and convenient to find XpresSpa. It’s more expensive(about $ 25 for a basic manicure) than any nail salon I would regularly go to, but the manicurist did a decent job, was more attentive than what I usually experience in a nail salon, and let me hang out in the massage chair until my nails dried. She was also the most entertaining Asian lady I’ve ever had do my nails, which I guess I could add to the cost-benefit analysis of my overpriced(like everything else at an airport) manicure.

For a chair massage(in a throne-type chair), this is fine — albeit pricey — and a decent way to kill time in the Philly airport. It’s usually not that crowded. Glad it’s here.

This chair massage was so good I fell asleep and drooled a little puddle onto the floor. 10 minutes in heaven and I didn’t even have to take my clothes off.

I had some time to kill in the Philadelphia airport so I decided to hit up the XpresSpa and go for a facial and some facial waxing. The facial was fine, although it was nothing special. They didn’t do extractions. It ran $ 110 for 60 minutes and was essentially a masque they put on and then left you under a steamer. The waxing was a ripoff. The fee listed on the brochure was $ 25 for upper lip/cheeks/chin. I was willing to pay the premium for the location and convenience, however when I was settling my bill they charged me $ 50 for this treatment, saying it was«$ 25 per side.» So essentially I paid $ 50 for a poor waxing job that normally costs me $ 15. Three days later I still have a rash where I only experience redness for a few hours at my regular place. They should have posted they charged by the side, as I have never heard of a spa doing that. $ 50 for a small amount of waxing seemed excessive, especially when the technician didn’t get all the wax off me.

In my quest to find some of the best places my fellow travelers can experience I stumbled upon this full service spa. Located in terminal C at the Philly International Airport I was very interested to see how well it stacked up against other airports. I went for the standard 20 minute chair massage. The massage therapist asked the right questions and even suggested a more comprehensive massage than a chair massage. She was correct in offering me the services but time was not on my side since I was in between flights. The massage what thorough and very relaxing. She did a great job. She was firm and listened for my body’s feedback. Not bad for an airport massage. What I really like was it was quiet. Little airport noise spilled in and that is key to a good massage(See my travelspa review). The spa was not overcrowded with equipment. Nothing worse than having too many machines you have to navigate through with luggage. The equipment was new and sturdy so I did not feel as though I was going to fall off the chair, or it did not slip. Price was a little more than usual but I think it was worth it. As of the date of the review I paid $ 38.00. I always suggest you provide your care taker a gratuity of 20% more or less depending upon service. If they do something wrong tell them and as professionals they will correct it.
