I have been there a few times now. It is a sports bar and extremely loud. Depending on the night, you might get a waiter/waitress who doesn’t really care but for the most part, they aren’t bad. Honestly, the food is a little overpriced for what you get and I personally like Buffalo Wild Wings better if I am going to go to a sports bar, however, for the area they are in, it is convenient and I like that there is a wings/steak place.

Boring menu. Same old same old. Although the décor kept my kids entertained probably won’t go back.

They should be sued for falsely advertising their wings are the best. Their wings are actually the worst. All the food is crap. Went there on three occasions, never again. Décor is cool.

This looks like you typical American chain restaurant. Took a little wile to get the wings but the waitress did tell me what the problem was. Things happen and I could respect that. when the wings came out the were surprisingly good, would go back.

Hoping today was just an exception. Service was very poor. Never saw a waitress for a refill on drinks. Ordered a take out order along with my dinner and a desert. Dinner came, was very good BTW, no take out. Waited 15 min with empty dishes slid to edge before someone grabbed them. Waited another 10 min and asked if anything else was wanted. Got my check, still no take out. 30 min and have not taken my card yet for payment and still no take out. Finally after 45 minutes, she took my card for payment. When she returned, I had to ask for my takeout that I ordered over an hour ago and she charged me for. Turns out it was never ordered from the kitchen.

It’s a 4 star sports bar for the area for sure! Classic sports bar motif. Loud. Lots of TVs. Manger very accomodating in terms of putting on the game your want to see on the TV nearest your table. Great for the family. Very loud so you won’t have to worry about kids making a scene(the whole place is a scene!). Gets crowded on the weekends, so call ahead for a quicker seating. I LOVE the premium garlic wings. Absolutely spectacular. If garlic gives you heartburn don’t even try it. But, otherwise, terrific. The pulled pork hamburger is also a favorite. A huge burger with their pulled pork on top plus loaded fries. The nachos are the family’s favorite appy. Good beer selection(Corona Light in bottles makes the wife happy!). Service is generally good. Staff is very polite, but often very young and sometimes the crowd overwhelms. However, there are a few veteran servers who really know how to treat their customers and do an outstanding job. Some room for improvement when crowded, but nothing that stops us from going at least twice/month. Pricing is reasonable. A family of 4 will spend $ 60-$ 75 with drinks and tip. Plenty of kids menu options and the wing choices make it a no-brainer for kids. Phillipsburg needed a place like this and QS&L comes through.

One of three NJ outposts of the famed Pennsylvania chain, the fare lives up to the reputation with some of the finest wings outside of Erie County. The atmosphere is pure sports bar(about a dozen TVs tuned to various ESPN stations) with a racing theme(complete with an overturned stock car hanging from the ceiling). The waitstaff is friendly and knowledgeable, if a little harried. Our party of 7 was seated within minutes and our waitress was quick with recommendations. The menu covers the basics: burgers, wings, ribs, et al, with an emphasis on the wings. with over 2 dozen sauces ranging from creamy ranch to the waiver-required Triple Atomic. Famished from a long day, I went with a dozen fried boneless wings split between Kentucky Bourbon and Hot. The Hot packed a pleasant kick that wasn’t overwhelming, with the Kentucky Bourbon had a deep, sweet flavour that contrasted well with the spice of the others. Dining options in the area are pretty limited, but Quaker Steak & Lube is a standout.

This was absolutely one of my worst dining experiences. We walked in sat at the bar and waited 10 minutes before we even were greeted. We then were served by Ashley(certified trainer) who apologized for her lack of attention. She then did nothing but complain about management and chastise her other coworkers. In addition, she emptied the dishes 4 times and never served one drink during a busy Sunday football game. The staff was more concerned about complaining about John than they were serving patrons. Upside — the food was prepared well and was timely.

Hit or miss service. Wings are always good. Burgers too. Craft beer selection is alright. Nothing great, but not bad for a chain.

Pretzels taste like they were frozen and microwaved. No vegetarian entrees. Overall, very underwhelmed.

I first experienced Quaker Steak 4 years ago on a road trip and have always wanted to come back. I got that chance today, and I remembered why I enjoyed it. First of all, the décor is perfect for any car fan. Anything that is automotive related is represented in some way. For example, the door handles to the restroom look like gas pumps. I ordered the chicken tenders with a side of Asian sesame sauce. The basket came with fries & cole slaw. The chicken was hot, fresh, and tasty. The fries were good, a little salty. I also liked the slaw, which I’m usually picky about. Not too tart, not to sweet. My wife had the Arizona El Camino burger. If you like jalapeño peppers, this is the burger for you. It was served with choice of side and a fried pickle. She said it was quite good. For dessert, we split the chocolate stout cake. You can definitely taste the stout in it. It’s topped with chocolate mousse and whipped cream. Delicious! We could’ve gone for separate pieces rather than splitting one. They also offer grilled tenders and wings, so you don’t have to get fried if you want to be more health conscious. While I like BWW, Quaker Steak blows them away. If you are on the road and comes across one of these, don’t pass it up. Good food. Good service. Good atmosphere.

Good wings. Ok food. Lots of TVs. Terrible management. If you order for pickup expect them to screw up the order, and not apologize or give a discount despite wasting your time. Once they refused to put the Eagles game on until halftime, even though there was a TV without a game on it. If they fixed the management I’d give it another star or two.

4 of us drove here from 45 min away to celebrate Father’s Day. This would be our first visit but we had heard great things about this chain from a family member in Ohio. We were very excited to try the«best wings USA» as emblazoned on their building. Well they were ok. Between the 4 of us 6 sauces were tried. All of them lacked true flavor. Even the garlic ones were bland. The hot, not hot at all. BBQ was ok the rest were forgettable. Literally I forget because they left no impression. The wing size were the standard smaller size which was disappointing but somewhat expected as it seems most chains are going to this size. They were not covered in sauce which was a let down. I like to have a nice saucy wing. Well at least we didn’t need the wet wipes that were provided when our check came. Odd time to bring them but again not needed. The pricing was decent. Service was ok. Our 9 year old ordered a lemonade w his kids meal and the waitress charged us the 4.99 for an adult size. She noticed the mistake and asked us «should I back this out?» Uh yeah! Why even ask that? But we told her don’t worry about it because we had a long drive ahead of us and just wanted to go. Without naming the name of another chain wing joint I would say it’s very similar to there. However that place is15 min from home. But that reminds me. When your wings come and you get 2 different flavor a the basket isn’t marked which is which.(Unlike that other place that does mark it with stickers) with the lack of sauce and taste it was difficult to tell what you were eating. Overall this was a disappointing trip. The atmosphere is cool but I I don’t know if we would make the 1.5 round trip again.

I finally decided to check this«new» place out. We ordered take out only and just one item only! We had a $ 10 off coupon that came in the mail. We phoned in the order for one big bucket off wings(up to 30 wings). I asked the woman how many sauces we can dress up the wings. She said she didnt know. She didnt offer to ask a manager or a coworker. She just said i dont know then silence. Cricket cricket. I guided her to ask her manager, which she said ok and she did ask(after i the customer suggested she do it). So i ordered it dressed 4 different ways and asked for the celery carrots and blue cheese. We picked it up with no issues. We brought it home and this is where i felt like i just wasted $ 20. 4 baby carrots and two 4 inch inch celery pieces were sadly placed into a small clear baggie.(This is a size shared by at least 3 – 4 people — this large bucket of wings). I would expect some more carrots and such. Especially when i specifically asked for them. Also included was two small measly sealed packages of blue cheese. After 12 wings it was finished. Still had like 18 wings to go and no blue cheese. Really ??? Thats all we get fir a big bucket of 30 wings? The worst part was that the 4 different sauces were bleeding and or mixed into each other. One separator/divider was half crushed and it was a glob of mystery mixed sauces. GROSS. We had 2 hungry adults and 4 semi hungry female teenagers and we still had leftover wings.(We always save our food to reheat and snack on later but we just threw the rest away). What a waste of time, energy and money(even with a $ 10 off coupon). We have no desire to try it again. I rather buy a bag of buffalo wings at costco and make it myself. Which i just did today and it was far superior then this place.

Not that I expected much of this place to begin with. Went in expecting«Bar Food» which it is. Most of the items on the menu are pretty sloppy and ok tasting. Chairs are those cheap plastic deck ones you get from home depot but I guess that’s part of their appearance in this chain. I personally don’t like a chair with flimsy plastic legs on carpet… The interior is overkill with garage /car /bar stuff. But I’d imagine kids would love the look. Ordered ribs and they were bad. my wife ordered a burger and it was messy but she said it was nothing great. Now I went back for another order and we got wings. Bone in for me, boneless for the wife. This is it people… this is where this place shines. Forget the rest of the mediocre food and the cheesy atmosphere, go in and buy wings, either kind will do. Try a new flavor each visit. get some fries with them but skip the rest of the menu. We were not planning to go back here again and then we had the wings. We visit once a week, the staff is fantastic and friendly. The food is for the most part pretty bleh… we do occasionally switch it up but that’s probably over. But the wings are great and I like to drive right to the pickup window. Some fries will do and not much else. skip the celery and carrots, the dressing is watery and bad. the veggies are thin and weak. most of the food is a big mess and a let down… RECAP! Get the Wings, switch up those flavors, buy some fries, and go be happy at home and watch some sports or a movie or something and share with the family to get some different flavors. I’d give them 5 stars just based on the wings, and the staff… but the rest of the food is so sub par it’s just not worth the time or money if you don’t like chicken wings.

So return back for another try Had received coupons in the mail so gave it a try Service was much better and prompt. Food was good. Drinks were weak. Both managers stopped by table checking up on us. Did tell them noticeable difference in staffing and timing. Would suggest the wait staff to clean up appearance and more of a uniform look. At times you could not tell how was staff. Will come back for a wing night

Seeing the lights of Quaker Steak and Lube so far from my origins in Western Pennsylvania was a very welcome sight. Like all my experiences at other locations, the experience was closer to «OK wings USA.» The branding play that Quaker Steak and Lube has is a winner, and the biggest key to their success. The multiple«lubes» available for their wings, including the«Triple Atomic» that were featured on the TV Show«Man vs. Food.» This location has indoor and heated outdoor seating with bars inside and out. They also have the ability to order wings drive thru to bring some wings home as you watch the game. The ambiance is loaded with the feeling of a converted service station as you’d expect, and rounded out with a total sports bar appeal. The quality of their food is OK. I ordered the bratwurst chili and grilled chicken strips, both gluten free according to their mobile website. I added the«golden garlic sauce» to add a good flavor to the strips. The sauce was the only great thing from the dishes. The chicken itself was not fresh, but that can be expected in the price for quality trade off. The service was satisfactory and exactly what you’d expect at a chain restaurant. At their bars, they have a great selection of signature cocktails and beers, making it a fantastic place to hang out for a game. For kids, or childlike adults, there are some arcade games at the front of the location to keep yourself entertained. It’s an OK place; pretty much what you’d expect from a low cost chain restaurant experience. The brand is fun, but the food and service was OK at best.

I REALLY wanted to love Quaker, Steak & Lube. With all of it’s cool décor and bright lights, what’s not to love? Well, the food is what’s not to love. The food was just OK/passable. This really should be a drive through restaurant, then one’s expectations would drop substantially. They do have a pickup window. I had the shrimp tacos but I had to ask for some sauce because it was on the dry side. My mate had some wings and he said it was nothing special. This coming from a man that likes just about anything. This came with a side of celery and carrots however, it tasted has if it was washed in chemicals! It is needless to say that I won’t be returning.
