Well, let me put it this way: Chances are pretty good that if you find yourself inside Armory Games, you know what you’re getting into. My wife and I, however, did not know what we were getting into. We came in hoping for board games. Perhaps the swords on the store sign should have given it away. We were going into one of those stores. Now I’ve been a nerd all my life. A big nerd. But I’ve never understood the appeal of role-playing games. So needless to say, this place was lost on me. They had it all: the paintable miniatures, the dice, the cards, the comics, the tables where people gather to play RPGs. I suppose some folks really dig this. We were just looking for board games.
