Gamestop

My oldest son was looking for PS4 Battle Front edition after Christmas. This version had been discontinued by Sony and was hard to find. The Pickerington store did not have one but did take the time to call the Lancaster store and they had one and they held it for us to pickup later that evening. Price was typical of all other stores and the customer service we received was great from both locations.

It’s a typical gamestop but like someone said, the location has been chaotic every time I’ve gone… regardless of time of day. There’s probably nothing that the store can do about it, but it’s pretty annoying.

Went in with daughter for her sell her old I-​Phone 4S 16GB and my HTC Evo 4G. Both phones, according to the sales rep, were in excellent condition. Daughter received $ 51.20 for her I-​Phone, which in kid dollars is a clean up! I received for my HTC a giant $ 2.40! The phone was in excellent shape and he could have @ least given me $ 20, which is what the website said was the price for the phone in great condition. When I asked him about it, he said the website prices were not «written in stone» and were only estimates. Price discrepancies are not unusual at this location. The weather was at a Level-​1 and I didn’t feel like going elsewhere. My daughter received pretty close to what the website quoted for her I-​Phone. All I know is that $ 2.40 is a long way from $ 20. Oh well… moving on.

Not very impressed. Went in to purchase my husbands gift and told the employee what I wanted. He told me that the game series didn’t exist and tried to get me to purchase a different item. Little did he know I am a gamer myself and I know what I’m talking about! Left the store, went across the road and purchased the game I wanted!!!

I was not very impressed with this GameStop at all. I frequent many of the locations, but this one was my least favorite. It’s something about this area; it always tends to be chaotic.
I think the major turnoff for this location was that their prices differed from others. I went in to buy Deus Ex and it was about $ 15 higher than the other locations.
Overall, it has a similar layout to most GameStops, but it will most likely be more crowded and possible more expensive.
