First time I made a delivery order from this place, it took two hours to get two large pizzas they showed up cold. Delivery driver looked like a 16 year-old with the Tarantino shirt on didn’t apologize or even say anything, just stood there silently why handed him money and he handed me cold pizzas. I’ve never eaten there since. 0 stars.

One of my favorites has slowly declined in my opinion. The pizzas haven’t been too good past few we have had and tonight’s subs was very poor quality. They weren’t warm when received even though they were picked up on time. I could see one tiny layer of meat. The bread used to be long and soft and now thick and over toasted. Hardly No dressing. It was like a veggie sub instead of an Italian and for the price of $ 15 it’s sad that my husband just left to get us McDonald to eat because we are still hungry after this sub. Used to remind us of our favorite Smittys sub in Marietta Ohio now it’s not worth our ordering in our opinion. Glad we had a coupon but still wasn’t with the money. Hate to hate on a place especially one that was my favorite since before moving here.

WORST. SERVICE. EVER. It’s been years since we had eaten at or ordered from Tarantos. Stopped in a couple of weeks ago. It was fairly good so we thought we’d try delivery. Called about 8:10 and told it would be 50 minutes to an hour. Called back at 9:15 to check on status. Told they had some new employees and our ticket had been misplaced. Offered to make it for us and would«GIVE» it to us for half price. AREYOUKIDDINGME?

My wife and I were here this past Monday. The food and service were top notch. We had the BLT pizza which we both agreed was excellent. Our waitress(maybe the owner) was very accommodating and friendly. To make the night even better was the fact that it was ½ price night(Monday and Tuesday nights). We will becoming here more often. Highly recommended.

I ordered to go. They forgot part of my order. Not the cleanest place in the world. Servers wearing flip flops? Took 50 min. But they gave me ½ back. The cheese sticks are just frozen from the store. They cook it for me.wow. Pizza was good. Might try again but wouldn’t eat in. Seemed busy.

Great cheese pizza. Sauce is very good and I like the medium thick flaky crust. Would definitely eat here again and get the cheese pizza as well.

I stop here often for lunch to go. You can go through the drive thru window and get $ 1.00 slices! Have always had just pepperoni pizza, and it’s always really good. Ordered cinnamon sticks for dessert last week and was not impressed. It was just cinnamon & sugar & butter on a sub bun, don’t bother with that.

The pizza is amazing. I love their pizza and salad. But not a fan of their side dishes. Seems to be food from the freezer. The location inside needs updated. Starting to be a bit ran down, but their pizza makes up for it.

So at one point there were at least two of these locations and I fell in love with their menu. The people I have talked to have always been kind and gracious. And each time I eat at a location I go away satisfied. Today I am writing this before the food comes. Friday night is typically a mad house in the far East side. However things are quiet right now. The wife choose this location and we are using a coupon that gives us one free sub with the purchase of another. We also ordered a salad. The salad just arrived. It is huge. The evening is off to a good start.

This is the worst food ever! No taste. Pizza sauce is very watered down tomato sauce. The thin and crispy dough is not crispy at all. Just got done eating there and I now have diarrhea.

Bought a Groupon for $ 12 that included a large pizza, garlic bread and two drinks. Neither my son or I eat garlic bread so we passed on that but the pizza was really good. It was a thin crust, crispy with plenty of toppings. Did not know until we were leaving that Wed was free sundaes so we did not partake in it, but we will return, good food, good service and very friendly.

Bought a Groupon and thought we would try this out. The Pizza was amazing, the garlic bread was crispy and tasty, and if you go on Wednesday you even get free ice cream. Michelle was my server and she was friendly, very helpful and made it a real experience. This is type of place where its casual, but you know the food is always going to be delicious. Better than Pizza Cottage by a mile!

I stumbled upon Taranto’s when I was in a pinch for some pizza and wanted to try someplace new. Man, what a surprise! The place can be a little non-descript and it is a barn but let’s be real here… you don’t come to eat the building. The pizza is fabulous!!! It’s some of the best that I’ve had since I moved here to Columbus! I know it’s not the«chic» and«trendy» place that so many people seem to be gravitating towards but this is a place of substance that serves wonderfully made pies. And on top of that, every Monday and Tuesday… ALLTHEPIZZASAREHALFPRICE!!! If you can deal with the guy singing from 6−8pm, you’ve definitely stumbled across a winner!

The pizza barn does it, Great pizza! Ill say it again, great pizza! And food is good as well. If you go on Monday or Tuesday night, they have a guy who does live music thats entertaining, does different kinds of music(all acoustic), half price pizzas and other specials. It does get warm inside though. Cant go wrong here!

I visited Taranto’s in Pickerington twice last year. One the first visit in the spring my girlfriend and I ordered the chicken parmigiana. I would have to say it was the finest I’d ever eaten. Tender, perfectly cooked chicken with an amazing sauce. Tons of cheese, excellent garlic bread. Service was good. I couldn’t wait to visit again on my birthday in September. This was the most disappointing letdown I think I’ve ever experienced at any restaurant. The service was VERY slow(which I could tolerate if they were busy, but we were the only ones in the place). The meals came out one at a time for four of us and had obviously been microwave prepared. The chicken patty was quite small and tough — most likely a frozen item from a bag. The sauce was insipid and likely from a jar. The garlic bread appeared to be a hoagie bun with some garlic butter applied. For the first time in my life I felt like I was in an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. I’ve never tried their pizza and unfortunately from this experience I don’t think I ever will. I DONOT recommend.

Apparently, Columbus, Ohio has its own style of pizza — square pieces, crispy crust, and edge-to-edge toppings. I was unaware that it was an actual thing until recently even though I’ve been eating it all my life. Well, Taranto’s is Pickerington’s hometown nod to the Columbus style. Having been around for more than 20 years, it’s well-known in the area as a local pizza hotspot. The pizza itself is about average and a bit ho-hum for my tastes. While the thin crust and proponderance of toppings is awesome, Taranto’s comes up a bit short when compared to other pizzerias in this«style». And, the past few times I’ve had it, they have unfortunately burnt the cheese, so overall pie quality scores a bit lower in my book. What keeps me coming back to this eatery though is the ambiance. It is indeed a barn full of old school pizzeria atmosphere. Old pinball machines, video games and neon Bud signs give this place a great classic 80s vibe. If you want to go to the kind of pizzeria you remember from your childhood, Taranto’s beckons.

I am never one to complain about an excess of cheese but that is the only thing that made me take a star away from Tarantos Pizza Barn. We ordered the calzone, stromboli and meat lovers pizza and both the stromboli and calzone had so much cheese that we actually had to take food home which is unusual for us. The crust and toppings were very good at a good price but it was so much cheese that it overpowered everything else and actually got hard again as the pizza cooled off, it was at least a pound of cheese in each one and about 3 inches thick. Still, overall one can’t complain about too much food and if one shares it with a salad or so to go with it, Tarantos is a yummy, filling dining experience.
