I used to eat at WG Grinders in Bexley almost every weekend until it closed about 2 years ago, so now I have to drive some distance for their wonderful subs and salads. I like the Grinders in Pickerington because of its low key atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is uniformly outstanding at any Grinders, which means WAY BETTER than any other sub shop I have ever found (and I have tried many). In contrast to the awful bread at restaurants with similar menus, the bread at Grinders is fresh and crusty toasted, and the ingredients are always fresh, delicious, and generously applied. My favorites are the Original Italian sub and the Italian stromboli. They have lots of other great selections on the menu. WG Grinders, please come back to Bexley !

Went for the first time today. 2 bites into my Sicilian and I knew I’d definitely be a returning customer. Fresh, flavorful meats. Friendly staff and quick service.

AMAZING!!! Here from out of town and sick of chain restaurants. The place has a «greasy spoon» feel but don’t let it fool you! I was recommended The Sicilian and have been back again for the same. They put some kind of sauce on the sandwich I could drink by the gallon!

Best subs in pickerington. Lots of variety and lots of flavor on every sub. Definitely not just another subway, their subs are well made with all fresh ingredients. Would recommend to anyone.

For the fact that this is a «fast Food’ restaurant it gets 5 stars from me! The staff is awesome, and accomidate every wish! I have been here twice which says alot in a city like Columbus where there are so many food options. The first time I had the Veggie Grinder, my husband the Cheesesteak and my son the turkey and cheese, all were very good, definetly better than subway, Quiznos, Jimmy Johns or Jersey mikes! The second time we went for dinner at tried the italian, chicken parmesan and meatball stromboli, all were very good, the italian being the best! It was better than most pizza places which really suprised us! We also had the chef salad which had plenty of fresh swiss, ham, salami, bacon, it was loaded and very fresh! You can take the quality and care they put in each menu item, and the prices are the same as other sandwhich places, before you head for any other sandwhich place, try WG Grinders!

My husband is in love with W G Grinders. It’s always one of his «must stops» when we are in Cbus. I really loved the Grinders location in Bexley back in the day, and honestly, the Pickerington location isn’t as nice. The staff is slower & the restaurant always feels so empty. Plus their cases are never nicely arranged — just a few side salads and random hunks of meat. Not exactly beautiful.
But the subs taste the same, so I guess it all ends well. $ 18 for 3 regular subs & a soda.
