Every time I’m in Ohio, I have to get Skyline Chili! This place was so clean, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. I had the 5 way. My son had 2 coneys. Nothing to complain about except that I wish they were closer to Maryland! How do they get that cheese so thin? Lol.

I have a long love affair with Skyline Chili! They had a location in Fairfax, VA back in the 80s. Took advantage of the opportunity to introduce my wife to Skyline on a trip home from Colorado. Every bit as good as remember it. Our waiter(Benjamin) was great.

Great place to eat. Wonderful and kind staff. This was my first time and the staff was so accommodating and acted like they were so glad we had came to there establishment. Had the Chili Dogs delicious with an abundance of cheese. The Chili has a special taste like nothing I’ve ever had before. The Spaghetti noddles were a bit odd but I’m from Oklahoma so we would have severed Fritos instead of noodles but it was still good. Everyone should try it once.

It had been a long time since I had Skyline, probably since the Whitehall location closed and man was it good! I expected it to be, too, but they exceeded expectations with the Extreme Habanero cheese. If you haven’t tried it, you really must. The service at this location was just excellent, and yes I did take the bib. I’d rather look silly than have to fight at getting a stain out later, and let’s face it, chili is always messy; chili 4 way with a huge pile of cheese on top served on a slightly too small plate definitely calls for a bib. I’m definitely going back and trying that habanero cheese on coneys.

This a pretty typical Skyline. I grew up with Skyline chili in my blood and it is always a great option when I am feeling up for a chili dog. I would write a giant review, but Skyline is a place you just have to experience if you have never had it. The staff at the Pickerington location is pretty good. I have only had maybe one or two bad staffing experiences, but overall, they are pretty good. What I love about Skyline is that it is a restaurant with a fast food style of delivery. You order and it is out in less than five minutes. I love Skyline Chili. 4⁄5 stars

We stopped here while traveling to Kentucky. My wife had never tried skyline chili before so we had to check this out! We thought it was great. Nothing gets much better than a hot dog loaded with chili and tons of cheese!

OKOK before all ya’ll chili purists get started circling your wagons and get your lassos all in a dither because«Skyline Chili isn’t real chili» just simmer down(pun definitely intended) Chili is one of those uniquely American dishes that takes on it’s regional and local flavor and I happen to be a huge fan of the Cincinnati regional flavor so pipe down the lot of ya hehe. I mean what’s not to love about this place and this food? My favorite is to get at least one cheese coney and yes it must have mustard and onion on it as well. Then a 5 way! But the real beauty is that you can get it however you want it so dive right in and enjoy. Your waistline and arteries will thank you later. At this point I should admit that I have not tried another single menu item from Skyline other than the coney and chili so sorry folks you’re on your own for a review of those items. Service has always been very good. This must be a good place to work or maybe the chili gets in the air and affects your brain but everyone is always nice and happy. You should go but do yourself a favor and wear the bib you will thank me later no matter how careful you tell yourself you will be.

First off, service is excellent. Secondly, being our first time having Skyline we got our meal free. Now to the chili. You have to know Cincinnati chili and the taste, which is most likely not what you think. I can only imagine how awesome this would taste if the chili didn’t have bay leaves, cumin, all spice, chocolate and cinnamon. Give it a try, but get a small.

Went here based on recommendations from friends… not impressed. Chili was just plain old chain restaurant chili — nothing particularly special about it and not very appetizing. Chili dogs were just cheap run of the mill boiled hot dogs with soupy chili on top. Perhaps expectations in Ohio are better? I dunno. The real turnoff was the store manager bullshitting loudly with some people at the table behind us about gun laws, politics, and crap you’d see on Fox News. Definitely not what I want to listen to when I’m trying to have lunch.

Stopped here on our way to Indianapolis for Thanksgiving. I had the vegetarian black bean burrito. Basic and yummy! My husband had a chip 3-way and enjoyed it as well. It had a diner atmosphere, friendly servers, and decent prices. We usually stop at steak’n’shake on our way to Indy, but i can see us stopping here again instead.

Maybe it’s because I’m not a native Ohioan, but this stuff is awful. I’m not sure how it even qualifies as chili. The chili bowl I got looked more like soup. How this stuff ever got famous is beyond me.

Skyline Chili??? A lot of people think that this chili is the best thing since slice bread. Somehow I never see Chili with their secect ingredient winning anything in chili cook offs. I had the chance of dining in the Pickerington OH location. It was lunchtime. It was my wife and I, and one other person who looked homeless. There are all sorts of selections, one way two way three way chili spaghetti, frankly I do not even remember what we had. I am trying to forget. As you ate the chili the taste of Nutmeg got stronger and stronger. It was so strong that we did not even eat half of what we oredered. When the server came over and asked us how was out meal I told her we never had chili like this before and it wasn’t very good to me. And I spoke with the Manager/Shift leader about how strong the nutmeg taste was, and she looked at me like I was from Mars. I took a comment card home and filled it out, mailed it and even went to the website and told them how bad it was. I never received a single reply. Sorry the people that like skyline chili must have build up a tolerance to nutmeg. TERRIBLETERRIBLE!
