Honestly if I could give no stars I would. I ordered through their app and when I got there my order hadn’t been made then I waited 20 minutes for my order, 20 minutes later I get a phone call saying my order had been canceled. I was confused because I was sitting in their restaurant waiting for my order. I then go up to the counter and the manager says that my order was canceled and I need to pay in cash for my order. I didn’t have cash that’s the whole point I did it through their app. I explained that to her and the manager tells me there is nothing she can do and let me point out she had my food made and it was sitting in front of her. Honestly if they would have told me earlier that I needed to pay in cash I would have canceled my order but I had paid on the app with my card and received an email saying I was charged. I waited 20 min to receive nothing. I won’t be coming back here again I wouldn’t recommend it at all to anyone.

The nachos are excellent when they get my order correct. I order them with no meat juice, I had to throw the last order away I can’t eat wet chips…

Bomb nachos, staff kinda rude. But good food, worth the drive out from the IE. Seats are limited. Restrooms gross.

Casa Garcia’s chili verde nachos are the best around… add some salsa & guacamole and it’s game over. Definitely a must have when your in Pico Rivera, they make you want to come back for more!

Only gave 1 star because I had to so I could write this review… This person who answered the phone, my father identified as the one who took his order, purplish hair and tattoo on her forearm. She was extremely rude basically calling me a liar because I explained that our phone order was all wrong. I asked to speak to her supervisor/manager and coincidentally she/he wasn’t there. I said so are you calling me a liar and she said I guess I am, she said I packed your bag so I asked her if she checked if the order was correct? She said I repeated the order… Really? Repeating our order does not mean you checked to see if it was correct. I asked her for her name and she said I’m not going to give you my name. I told her I could send her pictures of our food to show her it wasn’t prepared as we ordered it. She said she didn’t care and didn’t need pictures. Omg so frustrating!!! This girl has obviously not been taught proper phone etiquette or proper customer service. Great customer service is the core of any business. It’s very important! Word of mouth is everything! It’s very unfortunate to have this bad experience with a business my family has frequented. Don’t think we will be back!!! Perhaps this business owner really needs to get to know who they have working for them!

Don’t let the outside of this restaurant deceive you. I recently hosted a huge family party here this last weekend. My husband worked with Cindy to get a set menu. Our menu consisted of their cheese enchiladas, chili relleno, rice, beans, salad, cheese quesadillas, and of curse chips and guacamole. They also offered our party pitchers of margaritas and beer at a very reasonable price which allowed everyone to share from the pitcher rather than getting individual drinks. Our party consisted of about 40 immediate family members which took up 4 long tables. The entire time we were there, there was always at least one server at one of the tables asking if anyone needed a refill on their water/soda, or needed assistance with anything else. All of our food came out for the most part on time and not one persons order got screwed up. Normally when I go out with our family something always goes wrong and someone always has an excuse to complain about something but we didn’t experience that at all. Our dinner party was a hit with the family and my husband and I are so grateful. From the moment we entered the restaurant till the time the last guest left we were very well taken care of. Their service is definitely on point and we look forward to hosting many more events here in the future. P.S. My Dad said this place had one of the best chili relleno’s he has ever eaten in his life !!!

Don’t know who the current owner(s) are, but my Cousin Daniel Garcia and his wife Charlotte Garcia were the previous owners/employers at Casa Garcia on Whittier Blvd. Pico Rivera; long ago before they passed away. Last time I ate there, food was FILLING and delicious. Nowadays, no matter where you go, portions are shrinking and prices going up, up, up. They make DELICIOUS chimichangas… my favorite!

Came in for a half order Chile Verde nacho and have been back a few times just for this. It is so delicious! I have since tried a carnitas burrito which I would order again. The carnitas is deep fried and held its crunchy outside crust. I have had their taquitos which was also very delicious. The Carne asada some had a lot of meat on it with good portions of lettuce, cheese and beans. I was disappointed with the Chile relleno as a side. The relleno was very greasy and didn’t have the egg batter crisp like it should. Now on to what I didn’t like: the girls who run the cashier are a bit rude. Maybe its because they are younger but I have never had one of them be nice when I ordered. Obviously the food is good so I keep coming back.

I have been coming to casa Garcia for over a decade when it was just a little hole in the wall place. The nachos are outstanding and I will always make the drive to get some. The food is great, the service is quick, and the staff is polite.

Casa Garcia sits at the top of the heap for the best nachos in town. My top 3 picks(in order of preference) are«SUPERNACHOS»… Carnitas(great for leftovers without the soggy chips), chile verde, and chicken. All are great options. Be sure to get a couple red salsas to kick things up! Also, with any of the above for the to go orders, ask for your guacamole and sour cream on the side. This allows for your precious cheese to melt while your nachos are being transported to their final destination. If you want to cut own on the wait time, order your nachos on the app and bypass the line. Just walk up to the right side of the counter and pick up your order. SOCONVENIENT! I also highly recommend a Chile Relleno burrito. You can toss it in the fridge and when you are ready to eat it, pop it in the oven until its warm… or it you are in a hurry, pop it in the microwave for a minute then crispy up that tortilla in a pan. Beware, the insides will be hot! Hopefully you have some sour cream left over from the nachos! Also, I am a fan of their hardshell tacos and taquitos. Feeling hungry? Get a few of these on the side.

This place gets a solid 4 and I’ve only tried the burritos, quesadilla, tacos and the nachos are definitely the reason for my visits. Staff is cool, place is as clean as a Mexican food joint can be expected to be. Overall this place is worth visiting for the nachos alone!

still the best nachos around(my opinion) BUT i wasn’t to thrilled with my visit on 1÷11÷16 … 1st … WHATDIDYOUDOTOYOURREDSALSA??? not the same as it was and if you tried to make it better … you didn’t … Menu changed it a bit(burritos) The«combo» burrito is now loaded with a bunch of stuff(it was better before. simple i think they just added avocado) and now the burritos are smaller … more $ less burro(looked like a prepackaged one) … They now offer«Half» portions of nachos(but it really isn’t half) they serve it in a container that most places serve a hot dog in … not half … still good and will continue to like the food … just make it all the way it was … i understand prices go up … but if you’re upping the price because of cost … theres no reason to make things smaller. it should all balance out :) PS: clean up the place often … i was sitting close(not that close) to the trash cans at front and i could smell them … oh and tell your workers to smile. they all look mad or wanting to be elsewhere

Pros: + Awesome«Super Nachos» + Next to a movie theater + New location is huge Cons: — If you take them to go they’ll be a bit soggy, specially if you order them how I order them! Tip: If you are eating the nachos here, make sure to order extra«juice». And don’t forget the hot sauce! :) Been coming here since 2005 and ten years later the nachos have remained awesome! The location might’ve changed but the nachos still taste exactly as I remember them. Love the new location and have to try some new menu items. After ten years I think I am finally ready to order something besides the Super Nachos. I may be a bit biased and think these nachos are the best ever because of all the fond memories this place brings, but you should come see for yourself if these nachos are as good as everyone thinks or not.

Casa Garcia deserves nothing less than 5-stars. The chile verde nachos are absurdly delicious. It’s the quality of ingredients and the proportion which are key. Also, highly recommend the carnitas: they are phenomenal. I basically don’t write Unilocal reviews; but I felt compelled to write Casa Garcia the review they most definitely deserve. Great place with wonderful food. Also, the owner is fine af.

Long time patron of this local favorite and will agree with everyone else that these are the best nachos in town, if not all of LA. The purists stick with the never-fail Chile Verde for a good reason. They are a classic. When not in a pork mood, opt for the Carne Asada or make them veggie by loading up on everything meatless. Either way, you’ll end up happy. Glad to report they offer half orders now since the original full size options are HUMONGOUS. Yeah, it can get really crowded at peak hours and you might get some attitude from the staff. That kind of stinks, but it’s really hard to stay away from the food. I know for a while they stopped taking phone orders, but I think they went back to allowing them. Don’t be afraid to try the other items as well. The hard shell tacos, taquitos, and quesadillas are also tasty!
