I believe this place is closed. I’ve been trying to contact the owners son and I’m not sure if it is the same number. Its unfortunate because we always have them cater our family parties. What happened?

When I was much younger my grandparents would take me to eat here, but I don’t remember how good the food was. As for today, I can tel you that the menu is small and simple, but the food tastes great! They offer good homemade breakfasts. Once a week, I take my family to eat there. My wife has a weakness for manchaca, while I have a weakness for their menudo. They make theirs red, but is not hot at all.

This place is run down and very humble looking but the food is very good and the place is clean. I used to have lunch there when I used to work at the market across the street. When you walk in for the first time you kind of feel like you’re eating in someone’s house because of the small size of the place and also because the kitchen is right in the open for those in the dining room to see. Their bathroom which is tucked away in the corner and is very small and humble. Another thing to note, if you like Mexican music then they blast it randomly from a juke box while you’re eating. I’m not particularly fond of banda, norteno but I’m able to put up with it. The place is family owned. Grandma, aunts, cousins, brothers, sisters all work there. The reason I know is because I used to go there so much that I got to know them pretty well. Heck its a family gathering! As for the food everything there is good but their Cocido is worth mentioning. It is some of the best in town. It is very fresh and they give you very hearty portions.
