This place has to be my favorite family-owned seafood restaurant. Whenever I come here I always order the shrimp tacos. You can even order them protein style which is a lettuce wrap instead of the tortilla! I definitely recommend the tacos and a cup of horchata to go with that! Since I’m always here I decided to explore my horizons and try something new such as the aguachiles. If you love spicy food then this is for you. It consists of shrimp soaked in chile sauce with cucumbers and crackers. It’s almost like a shrimp cocktail but I kinda like this better because of how spicy it is. I definitely recommend this place to everyone not only because of the food, but because the service is great. The food is always prepared in a timely manner and I’m always leaving with a huge smile on my face.

My 13 year old son and I stopped by after a day of fishing to have a quick lunch. We had their fish tacos and oysters. Fish tacos were good, a little to much cabbage and can use a little more fish but tasty. The oysters were good size and very fresh. All in all the seafood was good with very affordable pricing. My son told me he has found a new fish place to eat that can be considered his favorite.

I found a groupon that sounded good, so I bought it. The place is not very impressive, but that doesn’t mean it’s not good. Or so I thought. We order, show the groupon voucher, order a couple of extra things and the cashier was charging me as if I didn’t have the groupon. My wife and I politely tell her it’s incorrect. She insists that its not. We ask her to do the math and after nicely fighting us on it, she finally gives in. Then the food came. Oysters in the half shell were ok. The fish tacos were cold and the shrimp cocktails were so so. My kid’s fried fish was ok. In short, the food was mediocre. I was eager to try this place, but I was not impressed. We won’t be going back.

Went on a Wednesday afternoon and was pretty good. I got the small cocktail which was delicious, and a ceviche with shrimp, delicious as well. There chili has a nice kick to it and this is coming from someone who eats chili every day. Overall great food for the buck.

Omg I come willing to try this restaurant thinking it’s really good since so many go reviews but I went in on a Saturday after noon and the food seemed like it was just freezes over night and took out to be served the next day. Gross!!! Not fresh what’s so ever. And for the employee’s not impressed, not helpful.

Very delicious shrimps ceviche and tostadas. the specials are awesome almost every day. the Tuesday and Wednesday specials are the best. Don’t be afraid to try the awsome fish tacos. If you have ever been to Ensenada you’ll know right away what’s up. There’s always plenty of dine in space so no worries on the time you come in

Bleh. We had: shrimp ceviche tostadas, fish tacos, shrimp cocktail, and shrimp/octopus cocktail. Everything was bland. The shrimp was rubbery and flavorless. The ceviche was gross– it didn’t taste citrusy at all. The fish tacos were greasy, leaving a coat of oil on my mouth. Even the Jamaica was disappointing.

Love the shrimp & octopus cocktail at this place. The juice of the cocktail has really good flavor and the portion size is good as well. When visiting LA, this is my go to place for my cocktail fix.

Their horchata, shrimp tacos, and ceviche is just absolutely delicious. I would always come back for that horchata though. Their ambience is incredibly warm and welcoming. Always serving the customer from the minute they walk into the door to when they leave the restaurant.

Best mexican hole in the wall place I’ve ever been. Hands down. Looks kinda seedy but take my word for it. You won’t be disappointed. They have all kinds of juices and rice drink(I forgot what it’s called). Spicy shrimp ceviche — aaah. perfect blend of lime and salt and shrimp. So yummy I’m salivating right now thinking about it. They serve the dish with tostadas you use to scoop up the shrimp. I know this is a perfect side for when you’re drinking beer but hey, I’m fine eating it by itself or with the rice milk drink thingee. Someone please remind me what it’s called. Mojarra frita — serve me a whole fried fish, baby! With macaroni salad and fries on the side. Mmmhmmm. I’m not sharing, yo! Shrimp tacos — a bit tiny but their serving is way bigger than King Taco’s and far more flavorful. You guys gotta try this place. Just don’t be flashing any gang signs or whatever. Just kidding. I made that part up. Please nobody shoot me next time I go.

Delicious food. The Mojarra Plate is my favorite dish. Fried fish, French fries and macaroni salad all work together to satiate your appetite. It’s $ 10.50(as of this review) but I feel it is worth it. Bottled Cokes and Jarritos are great ways to wet your whistle. They also have a spicy ceviche. Unless you gobble down habanero chiles without a problem, this ceviche will have you grabbing for the nearest cold drink and finishing it off before you can calm your tongue.
