Sizzler

I took my dad out for lunch and the food was great but the waitress we had was horrible. Her name was Veronica, she didn’t even check to see how we were doing and when she came back we asked her for some toast and she forgot to bring it to us. We ended up asking for it. She was not friendly at all.

Decided to have a salad for dinner at Sizzler. A bit of a wait to get to one of the two cashiers, ordered a salad, and an ice tea surprised to get an empty glass .Told by cashier ice tea is now self-​serve (about time). Clam chowder was good potatoes were not undercooked like previous visit, cheese bread was good, and salad was fresh.

This place it’s either hit or miss, the past two times food it’s been ok, but not today, we asked for The Santa Maria Tri-​Tip and Steak and Lobster, my tri-​tip meat full of grease, potatoes were old, the only good thing was the corn and squash, for the lobster, the meat should be firm and juice but was very bland and no flavor.
We paid $ 60.00 for mediocre food, you guys need to hire some quality control people to make sure every plate that goes out to customer it’s up to your standards, unless your standards it’s very low.

Me and my wife were eating at this Sizzler yesterday While eating a salad, my wife discovered a large green bug in her food. We called the manger over who quickly said it was not their fault. He said they get pre-​packaged salad and Do Not wash it. He seemed not to care at all and only gave us 10 dollars off our meal. He would not even comp my wife’s meal, even though she did not want to eat afterwards. BEWARE. WORST RESTAURANT EVER.

Lamest sizzler I’ve been too… Soup was watered down. No wings. Salad bar half empty. Very disappointed. Service was good though. Very nice. Not their fault the food was lame

My family are regular customers of this Sizzler location but we have changed over to the Downey location. The reason for this change, the last time we were there, I dropped some money on the floor right by our table and the waitress picked it up and put it in her apron pocket without saying anything. Now it wasn’t much money, actually I had gotten the change for the tip but I was planning to give it to her myself and not have it taken. We will not be going back to this location. We will miss Kimberly, our favorite waitress (she was not working that evening).

The hamburger was good But Very Small
I thought it was from the Kids menu
Corporations have short changed the customers
I remember when they used serve a regular size burger The potato was like a half size
Maybe, it is the increases in Minimum Wage?

Mikaela was the best! She was able to handle our party of 10 with the crazy kids. She was on top with the napkins and cheese bread. Thank you again for the patience and understanding.

Been coming to this location for a few years now and noticed the food changed a bit. Steaks are a bit smaller then normal and the taste is a bit lacking in the flavor department. Felt like telling the grill guy to throw half a bottle of seasoning. Also I ordered medium rare but by the time it got to me looked well done. I stick to the salad bar now. If you come please come in a day they have menudo. Their menudo is pretty good. Someone makes it homemade. The salad choices are a lot and their chicken wings are delish. The carnita style meat though stay away from. It sits in a pool of oil. Yuck. The bathrooms are nasty. If you decide to be daring and enter on please hold your breath. They need to put a contamination sign. Diaper mixed with someone who ate too much dairy is quite the aroma.

It’s been over 15 years since I’ve eaten here, gotta say it was bomb food !!!
Not to mention the waitress was awesome she was on it quick like …

Well I will start off by saying we normally like going to this location because it’s usually good. But on 3÷28÷16 around 8ish. I decided to order a 19.00 ribeye steak. and a salad bar, my significant other had his favorite. Total bill came out to 52.00 dollars
My total complaint was that my steak was super saltly. I told the waiter about it. And totally acted like he couldn’t do anything about it. I ate 3 bites and couldn’t take it anymore. Thx god for the salad bar. Now if u really appreciate your customers shouldn’t I have been compensated somehow. After all it was a 19 dollar steak!!!

This place is mediocre. I had the ribs and they were not good at all with a spit of fries on the side. I had eat some of my sisters food because I did not like my food. Cheesy bread was the best thing about this place. I did like the strawberry lemonade as well.

I paid for frozen tasting food. They should be shut down I had the Malibu chicken nasty. Salad bar not the same frozen meatballs chicken tenders nasty never again

To start off the were out of Mac and cheese for the night and it was only 6pm. During our meal they ran out of toast. Our waitress never bothered to check on us. Won’t come back to this location.

Oh, Sizzler. While I do love your salad bar and cheesy toast, it’s difficult for me to visit this location because of the ridiculous PR city sales tax. That said, I’ll try not to hold it against you or your friendly employees. Yeah, the parking is also kind of difficult, but what place isn’t? Of course, come for the endless soup and salad bar and stay for the great new lemonade options. Not bad at all. It really gets crowded on the weekends, so be warned and bring your patience. Also, the restrooms are single stall, so be prepared to wait if you go during peak hours. Sizzle on!

My wife and I usually come here for the salad bar. It’s a good verity of things. You get to build your own salads and add what ever you want. They have many dressings to choose from which makes it a salad exactly how you want it. They usually have 3 soups to choose from. It’s usually menudo, clam chowder and chicken noodle although today they had albondiga soup. My wife really enjoyed that one today. They also have some chicken wings, hard and soft tacos that you can either have carnitas or ground beef with all the toppings like sour cream, guacamole and salsa along with some beans, rice and Mac n cheese. They have a fountain drink machine to refill as much as you want but what’s weird is the ice tea is behind the register so when you want a refill you ask you server or have to walk back up to the registers. I do have to admit service ain’t that great. I think your lucky if you see your server more then once so it’s hard sometimes to get more soup bowls or salad plates. We usually come here for a quick lunch when we want soup and salad not for the amazing service.

The food was so good. I had some steak and lobster and it was delicious. It was probably the best steak I’ve ever had!

Sizzler haters can suck it! I’m a life long fan of The Sizz. Seriously, if you can find a good location, the food is superb and the value is excellent.
We came here for Mother’s Day — yes, I asked for SIzzler — I want what I want and I wanted some Sizzler.
The place was PACKED but despite the crowds, we were able to find a table conveniently located next to the salad bar. WIN! Our waitress, however, was underwhelming. She made it clear she had her hands full. How, you ask? Well, all requests were met with a sigh and an eye roll. It was subtle, but noticeable. Honey, it’s not my issue that your service territory is huge — take that up with management, not your customers.
Anyhow, I had steak and the salad bar. Both were exactly as I remembered. Delicious. The salad bar was clean and well stocked, which was surprising given the crowds. The steak was cooked to order and flavorful, as usual. They were a bit stingy on the cheese bread, which, as crazy as it sounds, wasn’t a deal breaker.
Overall, great experience. We’ll be back!

Sizzler currently has BBQ specials. It wasn’t very busy the night my husband and I went to dinner here, so I was surprised we had waited a while for our food to come out. We were having good conversation about our day and snacked on dinner rolls, so we made the best of it.
The food finally arrives; plating looked good so you can imagine my surprise when i bite into my COLD baby back ribs. I was annoyed. We had waiting so long only to have my food served COLD???
I called over the waitress, told her the situation with my food and then I asked if I can cancel my order and get the salad bar only. I didn’t want to wait for a new plate. She then explains to me I wouldn’t have to wait, she was only going to remove the ribs and have them heated up for a little longer. GAG!!! Adding insult to injury really. NEVER tell your customers you’re just going to have them «heated up».
This waitress always seems like she’s bothered to actually help any of her customers. If you do ask her for something she seems bothered to do any of it. I think she’s a lead too — if i had her name I would totally share it because she sucks as much as the food did. NEVER, EVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN. I can make microwave tv dinners at home! A-​holes!

I have no idea why sizzlers has gotten so cheap with the amount of food they serve!
Their price is not to high and the food isnt at all how the picture looks on the Menu. I ordered a classic burger and the bread was way to big for the beef patty. My mom ordered a steak and It was about the size of an ipod nano. I felt like a child because of the small portions they served us. Other than that the food taste great
