Home and Living runs misleading ads.
Here is what happened. I saw a dining room set I liked on Amamzon but before I bought, I searched Google to see if I could find a better price. A NewEgg sponsored ad on Google appeared with a pic of the dining room set I wanted at a better price. I clicked on the ad and ended up directly on the dining room set page at NewEgg. There is was, a picture of the exact dining room set I wanted being sold by Home and Living on the NewEgg website.
Thinking I was saving money I ordered the dining room set. When the box arrived, all I received was a table thinking maybe the chairs got separated and would show tomorrow. I assembled the table which I like very much. Next day, no chairs. Never any chairs.
I contacted NewEgg who acts very nice and they state they will try to get the issue resolved and if Home and Living does not offer a solution, they will try to resolve it by getting me my chairs or selling me chairs at a discount. That makes me think they have been down ths road before with this company.
They called Home and Living and they stated they sent me an email after I placed the order stating that chairs were not included. I received at least a half dozen emails from NewEgg during the order process an nothing from Home and Living. If it went to spam, not my fault. I never saw it.
Home and Living said I could return the table and pay a 15% restocking fee. I told them I like the table, I assembled the table and I am keeping the table. Regardless, I want my chairs and we went back and forth for a month. Home and Living considers the case closed.

On the sales page there are four pictures of the Coaster Boyer Counter Height dining room set with four chairs.
The description reads EXACTLY as follows…
«The counter height dining set has simple style that will match any home, in a rich black and cherry finish to compliment your décor. Seats are wrapped in a durable black vinyl.»
DINING SET clearly indicates it is a dining room set.
SEATS — Why would they describe the seats if they are not part of the order?
I saved a screen shot of the page and all the text. You can search NewEgg now and find the same misleading ad with the dining room set now being sold by another company. This is their error and they should have to honor their ad.
NewEgg, although they talk nice on the phone, offered no resolution in the end either. Both left me with a dining room set with no chairs. Neither of these companies will ever get my business again and I recommend you also shop elsewhere.

I ordered a dresser from Home and Living, and in between when I ordered and delivery, our entire apartment flooded. We were unable to accept delivery, and just asked to reschedule it for a few weeks until our apartment was habitable again. They refused, and told us we would have to pay $ 175 to send the dresser back. Not only that, but the customer service was absolutely horrendous. Incredibly rude and showed no empathy for our situation. On top of that, their shipping policy is not clearly posted with each purchase, which they acknowledged on the phone with me. They said that Amazon rules do not allow them to attach their shipping terms with each individual purchase, so buyers would have to navigate through their company’s general shipping terms to be aware of the ridiculous terms. When they ship, it is an EIGHT hour window, effectively making everyone take off of work to accept a delivery for an entire day. You then have to lift the item off of the truck by yourself and get it into your house/​apartment. My package is 180 pounds so I’m going to have to hire people to do this. I’m 8 months pregnant and they showed no flexibility on this point. Every time I called this week, they tried pointing fingers to the freight delivery company, even though it was completely within their power to accept the return of the item or cancel the order. I am appalled by their policies and the way I was treated and will never order something from this company again.

I tried to buy a desk from them on Amazon but it has been a nightmare. They never shipped and trying to reach them is a dead end. I needed it before Christmas and now I have to buy it again somewhere else. Bottom line they don’t deliver… stay clear of them
