Back again and the food is Still Great! Anahi, our waitress, remembered us and happily greeted us when we entered. She expertly took our order and served us with a smile. This time my husband had Siete Mares, a huge seafood soup and and I had a spinach, zucchini & cheese pupusa. A pupusa is like a thick tortilla cooked either plain or stuffed with a variety of ingredients from vegetables to chicken. Here they are huge and only $ 2.50!

This is my favorite place to get pupusas! The service is good and the restraint is clean. Try the horchata. It’s homemade and authentic!

Great food, nice décor, all made fresh. We had a nice surprise with the Yuca fries and dips that were given to us complementary that day. Menu is very large and it was nice to see all the dishes with pictures. Great home cooking reminded me of Puerto Rico were I am from. If in the area, stop by!

The pupusas I had from here were disgusting! They were burnt, salty, and the cheese was beyond hard. The salsa was gross as well. And when we walked in, no one attended us only after more than five minutes of waiting… if you want awesome pupusas I recommend Los Molcajetes… cheap, good quality and better service

Its decent, the yuca frita which I love is to dry. The plantains to dry, the pupusa is good, the curtido and salsa to watery.

Ok so first of all, the waitresses are very slow, they cannot multi-task what so ever. Very horrible service. My food was cold but my boyfriends wasn’t, they literally gave us our appetizer(which was also cold) 3 min before they gave us our food. Couldn’t even get a refill with two waitresses and 8 people in the entire restaurant. And to top it all off the food sucked! I ordered chorizo con huevo and my boyfriend ordered the casario. The only good thing on my plate was the chorizo. Beans didn’t have enough flavor and rice was cold and dry. My boyfriend also ordered a pupusa revuelta and it was horrible. please save your money. These people must be paying people for reviews because I came on a Sunday at noon and it was really empty…

I’ve been to dozens of Salvadoran restaurants. This is, hands down, the best one I have ever been to. The food: delicious. I had a tamal de elote, a pupusa revuelta, and platanos con crema y frijoles, with an horchata to drink. Everything was fantastic. Bonus: they gave us fried yuca with beans and guacamole as an appetizer. The place: Very clean, and with a lot of attention to detail. A nice mural on the wall, textured painted walls. I loved that there were tv’s playing soccer games, but they weren’t on loud. Instead, a nice mix of music was playing over some speakers(merengue and bachata, mainly). Prices: reasonable. Well worth it. Service: friendly and attentive, without being overbearing. This is my go-to spot for Salvadoran food. Can’t ask for better.

We tried this place on a recommendation and loved it. The pupusas were large and tasty. also had Carne asada con Camerons and the Pollo a la Plancha which were all delicious. Tried the Sopa de Res which was ok. The Horchata was disappointing, it had a strange taste so we tried the orange drink which was strangely similar to a orange bang and good. The place was clean and the waitresses were friendly… will return, hungry for more!

Service was good. The food was good, except la mojará frita was disgusting. It tasted nasty. I had the carne desebrada and my dad had some chorizo salvadoreño which was pretty good. The plates r huge and the price is very generous compared to the size of the plate. They served tortillas fritas complimentary, which I loved!

I called today at 10:00am to order a couple of things and the woman who answered the phone at first took my order and didn’t even ask me the time when I wanted to pick up the order she just said it’ll be ready in 15 minutes and hung up. I called back to tell her I’d pick up my order closer to lunch time… Then at 11am something came up so i called to cancel the order altogether and she was very upset and told someone in the background«she says she doesn’t want the order anymore» and rudely hung up. Sad sad I really like this place and its food but based on this phone encounter i dont think I’ll be back. They could use a much needed telephone customer service improvement…

I went here for a pickup order of various pupusas. I ordered chicharon con queso, queso con loroco, carne and camaron. Every pupusa was incredible. The flavor of the masa and cheese of each one was incredibly satisfying and cooked to perfection. You get a nice crisping of the cheese as it oozes out that gives you a nice contrast in flavor. I would easily go back and I look forward to dining in and trying the rest of the menu. If you are looking for pupusas this is easily the best in the area. No other restaurant comes close.

Great service by the waitress. The pupusas are huge, had to take my second one to go. Complementary chips and dip is a nice treat. Only observation: pupusa stuffing was a bit on the salty side. I will be coming back to try the other traditional salvi dishes.

Paseo San Miguel is an excellent Salvadoran food place that just opened doors in 2015. This is the third location they open so they definitely know Salvi food. If you eat in they serve you a complimentary side of beans, guacamole and fried tortilla strips. Yum. So far I’m obsessed with their Sopa de Frijoles con costilla, their pupusas revueltas, and their fish with garlic dishes. Their chicken dishes are really popular but especially the cheese stuffed chicken. Their ensalada drink is also a must. Highly recommended.
