Capelli’s Pizza & Subs

Waited an hour for my order. ½ didn’t come and waited an hour an ½ for the rest of the order. Which when it finally came was cold and still was incorrect.
Do you self and a favor and run like hell from this place and eat at a real restaurant. This is a gas station after all, but my expectations as low as they were –were still not met. Have some sense of quality an self respect.

We arrived in Tennessee after a 14 hour drive and didn’t want to go out again so we called here for pizza delivery. This was the worst pizza we have ever had. We were told 45 minutes; however, after 1 ½ hours we finally received our order. That would have been ok if the food was even half-​way decent, but the food was cold, the pizza dough was under-​cooked and the taste was disgusting. After trying to eat it and only being able to eat about 2 bites of a slice, we ended up throwing it away. We order the garlic bread with cheese and got a hoagie roll with butter and no cheese. It’s pretty bad when we decided to just eat some pretzels we brought instead. Be warned!

No one would deliver to us since apparently our cabin was in a remote area. They delivered in less than an hour as promised. Pizza, wings and cheese bread. Everything was great and everyone was very nice and courteous.

Stayed at Alpine Retreat cabin and decided to take a chance on this place given the mostly negative reviews. Ordered a pizza, hot wings, and cheesy bread. The food was delivered in 35 minutes and was very good. Pizza was not hot, but still very good. The hot wings and cheesy bread were some of the best I’ve had. Prices were average and I thought were fair. I would definitely order from this place again on my next trip!

I wish I could give this place zero stars. We arrived to Tennessee today and didn’t have time to go grocery shopping. We placed an order for a sub and a burger with drinks at 6 pm today. The driver showed up at 7 pm with the sub but no drinks or the burger. He said he will be back with the rest of the order and that it shouldn’t take as long as it did the first time. I called them at 7:40 to inquire about the remainder of my order and I was given a bunch of excuses as to what happened. Apparently our driver had forgotten to grab the whole order and that they made the burger fresh again and it’s on the way. I received the remainder of the order at around 9 pm — three hours later. This was an incredibly frustrating experience to say the least.

We were told the pizza would be delivered in an hour, which turned out to be 2 hours. When I called to check on the delivery, I was told they got busy and their oven broke. When the pizza arrived, it was nothing more that what we could have purchased in the frozen food section of a grocery store. What happened to being proactive and calling to let people know know. Needless to say, I would never order from this place again!!!

Great if you want to be blamed by the manager for THEIR poor service. I ordered salad, pizza, wings for delivery. Told 30 – 45 minutes. 90 minutes later driver calls and says they took my CC number down wrong and asks for correct number. Says pizza is up and he is on his way. 25 minutes later a soggy cold pizza shows up… no sauce for wings and no salad. Driver refuses to get missing items and instead offers to take back for refund. They are 2.3 miles away (per google) on an mid-​january night. No traffic. When I call store to complain manager says they are far away and traffic held him up. (This is when I did a google directions search) He NEVER appolgized, and instead kept trying to make ME out to be at fault… How is it MY fault? All I do is order and pay. I asked for his name and he said… I kid you not… «That’s none of your concern.» I told him I was going to leave a bad review online and he laughed and says «it’s a free country.» I asked for the name of his GM and he said «This is a family run store. There is no GM.» We’ll see. Tired of dealing with him I hang up. And not 1 minute later he calls and tells me that his driver just brought him my pizza and that it was still hot. ONE MINUTE… his driver sure made good time on the way back for being so far. And he had the GALL to call ME to tell me more about how I was the one wrong. I told him as much and hung up on him. But then it occurred to me that maybe he was not going to refund my money. So I called back and a girl answered. I said «Manager please,» and without muting the phone she could be heard yelling. «It’s that guys again!» and in a whiny sarcastic voicing mimic the words «manager please!». He comes on and I question about the refund and request my confirmation number for the refund transaction which he gives me. Then and only then did I see all the terrible reviews for this place. If you are reading this, you just saved yourself a lot of headache.

Good pizza, fast delivery, and lots of cheese on the sticks. Nothing special but would order again.

What appears to be an authentic Pizzaria is actually a Pizza vendor located in a local gas station. The food was mediocre but what got us was that we ordered delivery and they charged us a $ 5 service fee which we thought was the tip for the driver. it was actually a fee the kitchen charges? Don’t ask for an explanation its a convoluted charge that they made up so that their kitchen could earn a little more money. We ordered a «large pizza», a salad and bread sticks (16 bread sticks come with 4 ounces of marina sauce???). Our total was $ 35 once we paid the tip. Save your money and order Dominos.
Careful using your credit card according to reviews we read they are not trust worthy and have changed tips so they are higher.
