Back again for another breakfast at Log Cabin. I had biscuits and gravy this time and my wife had French toast. As always, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. We are here for a few more days, so we might just visit again before we go home!

With so many similar pancake places in Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge we were unsure of where to go. Tried this place out based on the Unilocal reviews and we’re not disappointed. Decently crowded on Saturday morning and a lot of food for the price.

The food was great and pretty fast. Just a little pricey but what do expect for a tourist town. Will defiantly be back!!!

Good quick breakfast fast service very friendly homey place definitely coming back. Out of lost restaurants I’ve visited being from Miami this was one of those that did not DISCRIMINATE. This is a very racist town and if you appear Hispanic or out Of town automatically the service treat is very different and dry.

This restaurant is the definition of southern hospitality in Tn. The waitress were my favorite part. They made me feel like my grandmother was serving me. They are all elderly ladies, who speak in true southern twang, wearing plaid skirts, and are just sweet as pie. We came on a very busy new years eve morning and the place was crammed full. Nonetheless, their energy and kindness remained high as well as the sweet names they call you(honey, sugar… etc :))Food came out quick and it was delicious. I really appreciate them having whole wheat pancakes and sugar free syrup for diet friendly folks. The prices were the best we found for breakfast during our stay. We most certainly will be back.

BIG, BIG and big portions. I ordered some blueberry pancakes that were so delicious. They came with tons of blueberries. They serve you 3 large pancakes. Plus a side of eggs and bacon. They do not hold back very generous restaurant typically a diner will give you like two strips of bacon this places was like mamas cooking, no holding back on portions lol. I really enjoyed very Pigeon Forge. The waitress dressed like an old school farm lady. No wait considering it was the week of Christmas that was a plus. The restaurant itself is not much to look at inside but that’s ok It gave off these homey vibes. It’s also rather inexpensive to eat here too!

Don’t waste your money. We ordered pancakes. Eggs biscuits and gravy ham And all the food was brought to table lukewarm. The whipped butter wouldn’t even melt. Terrible food. The owner did come over and said she would take off grits and hash browns. But we don’t think they did

First time eating breakfast out in our many trips to Gatlinburg. Pros — — wait staff friendly and adequate — maple flavored syrup better than typical ones(real maple syrup would have been really nice, though) — coffee and hot tea were good Cons — — omelet with ham, tomatoes, pepper and onions had tomatoes barely warm and onions and peppers uncooked so very crunchy — pecan waffle was more like a pancake. If you are expecting a crunchier Belgian waffle these are not it(customer error as we did not notice they were not Belgian) We did not have pancakes so that is probably their specialty. If you like pancakes this might be a good choice if you do not mind tightly packed tables. We do not plan to return.

My family and I hit this place up again on our recent trip to the Smoky Mountains. Very filling meal that was fresh, and the service here is always good. One complaint that the parking lot did have a bit of trash in it. Overall, a very nice meal.

We were greeted and seated immediately. Barbara our waitress was extremely pleasant and patient. As I looked at the menu I became excited like a kid in candy store. So many choices but only 1 tummy. I had the Log Cabin Walnut Pancakes. OMG amazing and so yummy. Of course I couldn’t finish all 4 but I did my best. I will definitely eat here again.

Nothing phenomenal. Went based on amazing reviews. Food was at best, lukewarm. Nothing tasted bad just wasn’t hot. It was just ok. Cracker Barrel is better. Will try another pancake house next time.

This is just a great place to find a nice, filling breakfast. It’s a local spot, so get ready for a few stares from locals who are absolutely judging the tourists like me. Our server was fast and efficient, never leaving a cup dry. The food was hot, fresh, and not a drop was left. My crepes were great and the rest of my group’s food was cooked perfectly, too. Some say you can’t screw up breakfast, but believe me, it can be done. The Log Cabin Pancake House does it right.

This was a very good breakfast with very good service. I had the ham biscuit breakfast with a pancake on the side as an extra. It was delicious! Will definitely be returning on our next visit. It was very busy, but it was labor day, so that was to be expected.

Serves a decent country breakfast, similar to Cracker Barrel but with more character. I ordered two eggs sunny-side up, two sausage patties, two biscuits, and sausage gravy. Everything was cooked to order. I was a little disappointed that the gravy was completely under-seasoned(if not unseasoned), there were salt and pepper at hand so easily fixed. Staff for the most part was very friendly, but their waiting system was very unusual. No names were taken, only the number in your party. Everyone waits outside in a line and the hostess comes out and literally yells the number of seats open on the most recently emptied table. While it definitely favors smaller groups, the line moved fast and there was never an empty table for more than a minute at a time. Annoying as it was for my party of 6 to have to wait longer than everyone else, it was ruthlessly efficient. I would definitely recommend the one in the heart of Gatlinburg over this location simply for a far nicer atmosphere and EXACTLYTHESAMEFOOD. Yes, the menu looks a little different, but everything is still there. Yes, it’s a bit more of a drive(depending on where you’re at), but I think it’s worth it for the elbow room.

Went to grab breakfast after seeing the high reviews about this place on Unilocal. There were alot of people in the store when we went in around 10:30 on a Monday so it is a good sign. We ordered the blueberry pancakes and strawberry crepes. The pancakes were good but we were disappointed with the blueberries… they were in season but the one on the pancake were NOT fresh… and the blueberry sauce that came with it taste like blue sugar gel, very artifical. The strawberry crepes were dry, like it comes from a package instead of freshly made. The strawberry syrup that smothered and filled it were not fresh either… it tasted artificial as well… However, the eggs that came on the side were amazing! I asked for medium eggs, which hard to make sometime, they gave me perfect medium cooked eggs with creamy running yolk. For those eggs, I gotta give them 2 more stars. The waitress was nice and attentive even though she had so many tables to wait on. One more star there. Overall, it is an okay place to go. Nothing special, nothing too bad either. Could work on using fresher ingredients.

If you want local flavor this little dive fits the delish bill perfectly! The biscuits are devine, the bacon is crisp, and the coffee is strong! Order the bacon waffle and you’ll thank me! Service is friendly and quick and the butter is served plentiful and whipped. You could choose any pancake joint on the strip but this needs to be the first one!

Fast seating Great food and very friendly service. The pancakes are golden brown and very light. The maple syrup they give you is warm and fresh. Not the fanciest place, but great food nonetheless. The service was super fast

I was a bit disappointed after all the wonderful reviews. The restaurant has the feel of a mix between a diner and banquet hall, but you are in and out quickly. Breakfast was just«okay». The waitress was efficient and friendly. With so many other choices for breakfast, we will probably not be back.

I had some great Walnut Pancakes for breakfast here. This restaurant is old-school, what someone like me who is from the North but remembers travelling through this part of the world 20 years ago expects from Pigeon Forge. Staff was very nice, portions were BIG. Prices were a little higher than I had expected they would be, but based on the portions we got they were totally justified. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals. Entire place was perfectly clean, including the men’s room, which was super old-fashioned and small. I did a double take when I walked in, because there was no urinal, but there were two stalls — I thought I had mistakenly walked into the ladies room! I will definitely visit here again if I am ever lucky enough to return to the area.
