Crank café shares space with a bike store. We were overcome by the smell of rubber. It had a cold atmosphere. We did not stay.

Driving home from Asheville the long way, I needed a cup-​o-​Joe really badly. Unilocal turned this spot up not half a mile away! It looks unlikely as most of it is a bicycle shop, but the pleasant barista made me a most excellent mocha latte and pointed out the just marked down pastries, which had been baked locally that morning. Just the pick me up I needed to get on over the mountains. Crank on!

Organic, fair trade dark roast drip coffee, cold brew, excellent smoothies, fresh juices in the morning, fresh squeezed lemonade, baked goods fromFletcher Village Bakery delivered daily! Fruit, chips, pretzles, assorted beverages. Occasionally a fresh pie or carrot cake! Always worth a stop in to see what’s new at the shop and enjoy a cup of joe!
