This is a great stop if you are in a hurry and want a quick bite to eat. The employees are very friendly, and, they make sure you order is right and fast. I highly recommend this mcdonalds to my friends and now to you.

The employees need to realize people who lie to get free food are also stealing orders from others. Stop asking«is this your order?» Theives will go through drive through order something small and drive away with your order. Some piece of gum off under my shoe took my order $ 30.00 order and lied to girl at window. she hassled the order taker. «Your laughing and I’m gonna drive away now». Common their. You stole my food while I was right behind you. For the employees. Have some respect and ask«receipt please».

Only giving a five star review because of one specific worker. Krissy was very helpful and friendly over the headset. My order was correct and organized.

I go to this Mc Donald’s every morning for coffee before work. It usually has excellent service and great coffee. The last few days the level of service has gone down and this morning I left the drive thru after canceling my order. When I arrived there was no other car waiting. I waited at the speaker for a couple of minutes with no response. A car pulled up behind me. A person came on the speaker and asked me to wait. The car behind me got tired of waiting and pulled into the other lane with the other speaker. He orders before me. I decide not to order as I have to get to work and was put off so that a person who came long after me got to order. I won’t be going back for awhile.

This is the worst McDonalds I’ve ever been to. It started in the drive thru. A young man named Rafa was taking my order and couldn’t hear properly because of the freeway noise(I assume) or he was having headset issues because he kept asking me to repeat what I was saying yet he got most of my order wrong. Now I bear some responsibility here because I should’ve been watching the screen for accuracy but I was trying to hear what my family wanted as I was ordering. I asked for a large combo and he even got this wrong. I got a large fry with a medium drink. When I pointed this out to the man who handed me my food he kindly said he would give us a large drink but since Rafa put down our order as a large fry and a medium drink we left it as it was. Next I realized I was never asked what sauce we wanted for our nuggets, gazing at my receipt I see that is says BBQ sauce. I have NEVER ordered BBQ sauce, so now the kid taking my order is just assuming that I want BBQ sauce? I asked the man handing me my food for sweet and sour sauce, he kindly obliged me and I drove off hoping that ordeal was behind us. I was wrong! As we had more shopping to do we decided to eat in the car. While we were eating my son pulls a long black hair out of his mouth that was inside his cheeseburger!!! Thankfully he wasn’t as traumatized by this as I was. Now before we went jumping to conclusions and just blamed McDonalds because we’d had a bad experience in the drive thru we made sure it couldn’t have come from us. I don’t have black hair and the only person to handle the cheeseburger(he handed it to my son) has no hair. I am absolutely disgusted by this McDonalds and we will never return.

*** Pit stop review(Pismo Beach)*** Just made a quick stop to stretch my legs and get simple food for the family. Here’s what I liked… * Easy freeway access(on & off) * Good looking newly remodeled restaurant. * Restaurant and restroom kept clean. Here’s what I didn’t like… * I think the food is shrinking in size. I gave them an extra star because the place looks really new and super clean. Food = so-so(as expected) Seating area = very clean Service = friendly Restroom = clean

Across the street from the Pismo Premium Outlet store, we were happy with the cleanliness of the operation and the friendly staff. The order was executed correctly and came up hot and fresh.

Good food, however, dont ever order any food with side of bacon added. Ordered a bacon McDouble, they no longer sell those, you have to order a Mcdouble and add bacon. Get my order and start to chow down, then realized that.. .. No bacon!

Early Saturday morning: I stopped in for a breakfast sandwich to go. To my horror, the English muffin was burnt to a nice charcoaled crisp. The taste can only be described as a mixture of plastic and nacho cheese. The overall concoction was inedibly salty(I am a salt lover, mind you). I immediately regretted this decision of going to MickeyDee’s upon the first bite. Spare yourselves the agony, avoid this spot. At least for breakfast…

Although, this place was crowded and a little bit messy. The workers there were generous and easy-going. The food was prepared well and I think it’s good to come here for cheap, good McDonald’s food after a long drive!

This placed was jammed. It was the most crowded I’ve ever seen a McDonald’s. It was a Monday at 9:20AM and the parking lot was packed with cars; I didn’t know if I was pulling into a car dealership or a McDonald’s(I knew but I’m trying to illustrate the immense amount of cars). I guess they have the attached Coffee Bean coffee house which might made it even more crowded I have to say I was worried initially. The drive-through line was backed up as well. This McDonald’s drive-through line splits in two. Things were adding up to be a time-wasting ordeal. It ended up going very smoothly. I ordered two number twos, one with coke and one with coffee nay can I have two number twos one with coke and one with coffee the other with an extra sausage mcmuffin. The lady taking my order navigated the above mine-field of an order valiantly; she even responded to my on-the-spot order changes. To be fair, she did initially mistake my coke and coffee for just two coffees(at the second window) but I corrected her; she was immediately came back with the coke in hand and not the coffee. Great McDonald’s. Be careful though, it might be incredibly crowded; it seems unpredictable.

*** Update 10÷25÷14 to my review from a while ago. This McDonalds is going downhill fast. Twice now, I’ve seen solicitors enter the restaurant and just walk around trying to sell stuff. Today was a lady going around selling berries. It was unbelievable. The type of people who you see selling fruit on the highways. So that was weird. Second, THIS McDonalds now started to go cheap on ketchup. Its not a big deal, but now this is a thing on the central coast I feel. I started going to this McDonalds because of the horrible service and workers at the McD’s in SLO. Now this place is slipping up. I ordered fries with my meal. I asked for ketchup and she gave me 2 packets. I said, «excuse me? Can I have more ketchup?» I ordered this for $ 5(large fries?) and they think you want two packets of ketchup. She asked me how many I wanted. I can’t say how much this question ticks me off. Are we supposed to calculate a formula for how many fries-to-ketchup packets we need? Back in the day, they would just give you a generous handful and if you had extra you would leave it on the table or take them with you. Last I checked, Central coast has a water shortage problem, not a ketchup one. ********* I drive to this McDonalds from San Luis Obispo because it’s the polar opposite of the one in San Luis. This McD’s is 1) clean, 2) staff is friendly, and 3) they are FAST! The people who work here don’t talk crap behind your back like the ones in SLO. And even though they are Hispanic they don’t have obnoxiously loud conversations in Spanish like the one in SLO. The only thing I don’t like is that they are stingy with their ketchup. Seriously, I have no idea what happened to the tomato production of the world but they ask you how many packets of ketchup you would like. «A handful» is too much. 4 – 5 packets is what they will give you for large fries. I get the expensive sauces are limited but ketchup? I remember when they used to have ketchup dispensers(and I’m 21– not even that old). The booth tables are great. Range from 4-person capacity to 10-person capacity. I’ve seriously never seen booths that long at a McDonalds. Must be for the many tourist groups and large families I see come in. Great place, 24hr drive thru, clean, everything it should be.

Store was really clean. Usually when I visit this McDonalds, it’s pretty messy and seems as if the management didn’t know how to manage. But recently I’ve gone in and have seen many new faces working there and I must say that they are EXTREMELY friendly! There was a gentleman at the front counter named Grant that was really really polite. Also, there was a manager named chas I beleive? He was really polite an professional as well. I saw him handle a customers wrong order really well. I have faith that this Mcdonalds will keep improving !

Ordered the premium crispy sandwich(to avoid the McNuggets type of chicken on my sandwich) and they actually cut the tomato slice in half and spread it out to make it look like the pictures … like that is really going to fool me when I got bites of sandwich with no tomato???

I like this McDonalds. It has jazz music(old jazz, classic jazz) and jazz legends motif all over the place. Everytime I have passed by Pismo I stop here for a break. Breakfast time, lots of your grandpas and grandmas hanging out. Must be the local hangout place. Still, not too busy. Staff are usually friendly and polite.

Food was adequate for what I’ve come to expect from McDonald’s, but I don’t usually go to McDonald’s. That being said, not being a huge fan of McDonald’s, this review isn’t going to involve any food bias. Basically, it’s the restrooms in this establishment that bother me. And if the restrooms aren’t good, there’s no point in eating there. Mostly it’s the design problems. Sure it’s small but I’m not going to fault them for that but if it’s going to be small there needs to be a few things to help with that. My biggest problem is this, the doors open inwards and have handles you have to grab and pull in order to open them. This would be found if you didn’t have to touch them. You see most places with larger bathrooms either have no doors, with an ‘S’ shaped entry; or doors that ‘push’ outwards so you could use your elbow, foot, shoulder, or whatever else you could use to avoid touching it with your hands. The problem with the doors at this establishment is that there is nothing there to accommodate you when attempting to open the doors without touching them with your hands. A paper towel would be fine, after you’ve used it or course, but they have blowers instead. In fact, they have two blowers. Two blowers, one sink, and one urinal. [There is a wheelchair access stall, but I didn’t use that] If you haven’t guessed already, I’m a guy. On my one and only trip to this particular McDonald’s, I used the bathroom twice: once to wash my hands before my meal, and another to wash my hands after my meal. On both visits to the restroom I witnessed two customers using the urinal and walking out without washing their hands. That means they touched their business and then touched the handle to the door on the way our of the restroom, not to mention anything else they might have touched in the establishment after the fact. Like I said, I’d normally just use a paper towel to avoid touching the Russian roulette or funkiness that is the door’s handle but I had to use my shirttails as such. About the urinal, though. It’s too dang short! It’s like one of those ones they put in for little boys! There’s enough room for another, for sure, so it’s like they ran out of money to put in the normal one and left a big blank spot on the wall. Oh, not to mention the awkward privacy! Someone walks in while you’re pissin’: «Oh, howdy! Meet my little friend, here!» Some one comes out of the stall: «Oh, hey, how’s it hanging!» Oh and I did say the thing was too low, so it’s splash city up in there! Unless you’re squatting down, then you get some extra awkwardness with the other dudes walking in. Bottom line, «wash your hands» signs do NOTHING. Get a paper towel dispenser and place a trash receptacle close to the door so you don’t have used paper towels all over the floor. Men who don’t wash their hands after doing their business, never will, and there is nothing you can do to change that; only give those who DO the tools to avoid those that don’t.

Hit the drive-thru at this McDonald’s STAT!!! I failed to heed my own warning and I regretted it. For some reason the employees here just don’t give a rat’s ass about the concerns of their patrons. I was in line waiting to order an iced coffee before I made my way back to SOCAL and the guy next to me was full on harassing a kid. He was about 60 plus years old and he scared the crap out of this 6-ish year old talking about some random stuff – I don’t recall what, but the kid was scared!!! Anyways, the mother started to pull the kid away and the guy followed them, eerily stating, «WHEREAREYOUGOING? I KNOWRONALDMCDONALD, HEWANTSMETOGIVESOMETHINGTOYOU!!» Eeek, freaky… the staff stood there and just watched… I mean I dunno what they could’ve done but either way, would you want to eat at this McDonalds after hearing this? On top of this let me tell you what happened to ME… I asked for the hazelnut iced coffee w/o the ice because I didn’t want the ice to melt since it was going to be in the car throughout the night – who wants watered down coffee anyways? So I asked the server who handed me the coffee if if I could have it w/o ice… in front of everybody she aggressively grabbed the coffee from me… flung it into the trashcan and poured me a new mug(plastic cup) w/o acknowledging any eye contact… eesh, how rude… but man the coffee was good, so +1 star for that, HAHA.
