Pismo Beach Winery

We stopped by here on a Friday. The tasting room is very nice. The winemaker/​owner was serving in the tasting room that day. We started talking about how he got into winemaking as a hobby from doing microbrewery. The wines were all good wines. Well worth the visit.

Visited this winery on Friday, March 12^th, 2010.
When we arrived, the winery was in the process of bottling their wine. It is a bit hard to find, as it is at the northern end of the Pismo Beach outlets. Keep going around the Nike Outlet.
This is Pismo Beach’s only winery, and they just celebrated their one year anniversary. The wine owners (two brothers) are from the Bay Area. We were served wine by one of the owner’s wives, who was very nice and knowledgeable about the wines. The winery itself was clean, and displayed art from one of the local aritsts.
She poured 5 wines for us that day.
* 2007 Chardonnay
* 2006 and 2007 Pino Noir
* 2007 Zinfandel
* 2007 Cab
My 2 favorites were the 2006 Pinot and the Cab. The ’06 Pinot was delicious and I bought a bottle. The Chardonnay was nice also.
