Loved stopping in here for a quick tasting flight. My boyfriend and I mentioned that we wanted to try the Italian food place next door and the staff at Tastes of the Valleys happily called to put our name in at the restaurant since the wait was over an hour. While waiting for our table we tasted a few more of their over 100 wines in store. If you are looking for a variety of wines and very friendly staff in Pismo, this is the place to go!

It is our favorite place to buy our wine. Lissa, Ash, and their staff are very knowledgeable about wine, support the community, and are sincerely gracious with their hospitality. We are always guaranteed great wine and a great time at Tastes of the Valleys!

Discovered this place today, after finding it here. A smaller wine shop, with an amazing selection of wines. They do tastings of what they have open, in the line of wine machines behind the bar(the kind that dispense 1, 2, or 4 oz). Great selection of wines with 6 — 1 oz pours. They also have a great app on iPads at the bar, where you can look up all the wines in the shop! They also have fantastic prices on the bottles to go, glasses in the bar, or bottles in the bar. If you are going to Giuseppe’s, they will call and get your name on the list, and you can stay there while you wait!

We found this little gem while exploring Pismo on a weekend trip. My boyfriend and I shared a 6 pour tasting, and received 2 extra pours for checking in with Unilocal. We loved the atmosphere and staff here. We were the only customers for a while, and the staff was extremely helpful as we had never done a wine tasting like this before. We had the red wine tasting. Then tried a Moscato on recommendation from staff. It was delicious. We had a second glass and then bought a bottle. Overall, Loved this night with my love. Would definitely go back.

I don’t know who runs Tastes of the Valley, but an older woman was extremely rude on two different occasions. I won’t be returning. She made us feel unwelcomed.

I have such good things to say about Tastes of the Valleys! The knowledge of the wines, selection, and friendliness of the owners and staff is unparalleled. Fantastic selection of local wines that you quite literally can’t find anywhere else aside from the winery. They also have a great selection from Napa. If you want a recommendation, they’ll give it!(I was recommended The Prisoner from Orin Swift based on what I told them and I was not disappointed). I definitely recommend going in– prices are reasonable too. I saw Lincourt– a Chardonnay on sale somewhere else for more than what it was at at Tastes. I can totally see why they got one of top 20 Wine Bars in the Country!

Not bad for tastings. Bought a bottle of 45.00 Pinot that I put on my Vivino app that came back with a 29.99 average price… I probably won’t be back.

Such a quiet and nice place to have wine tasting. The person who was serving our wine was very knowledgable and helpful not only about wines but also with suggestions for the rest of our road trip. They also gave us 2 free tastings if you are in town, you should check this place out

We ran across this gem of a wine bar while exploring our new home town on a Saturday. Run by Lissa and Ash, the concept is innovative. For $ 15 you get 6 tastings of red wine. The selection depends on what they have open. If you commit to buying a full glass, they will open most of the wines they have. Then the bottle becomes available for the flight tastings. Lissa was a delight with lots of knowledge about the industry. They also sponsor dinners at local restaurants. Fantastic. This is really a 6 start place!

This was a great little Wine Bar we stumbled into on a Bachelorette Party in Pismo! Their menu is so huge and overwhelming, but the staff is super friendly and helpful in regards to helping you choose a bottle. I asked for a buttery chardonnay at a decent price and was presented with a $ 25 bottle that tasted exactly like what I was looking for! In addition to the wine we ordered two cheese plates that were the perfect snack to accompany our drinks. Four cheeses, some dried fruits, some pistachios & crackers. Yum! We almost ordered a second helping but remembered we had to wear dresses out that night(I’m kidding we are not that vain) but in reality we had dinner in just a couple of hours. Anyways, if you’re looking to escape the sun, the fog, or just anything in general this is a great little spot to pop into for a drink! Cheers!

At first our experience at the wine bar was nice. We got to taste interesting local wines. My husband asked for a recommendation for a glass of a local red blend. The server gave him a taste of a good blend. He got a glass of it. Ash, Thank you for looking into our problem. We appreciate it. Great customer service. Stacey

Fun little place with an extensive selection. Friendly and great red wine fight of 6 pours for 15.00! I love the fact you can ask them to open a bottle if you are curious as long as you commit to at least one glass. I have never had any place do that. Pretty unique!

My husband and I moved back to this area after being away for a couple of years, and we ran over to our favorite local wine bar… and were greatly disappointed. It just wasn’t the same. The things that we liked about this wine bar was that the staff were friendly, there was a nice selection of the type of wines that we enjoy, and it was just an overall pleasant place to be in. All these were lacking. Our current visit consisted of shotty customer service, we thought we were going to go completely unnoticed, there were only a handful(obnoxious) customers, and they were very limited in the wines that they could serve or even open. Another couple walked in as we left and I could tell when we walked by later that they were having the same experience we had. This was one time back, and we agreed to try the other local wine bars, and give it another try.

We went here for the long weekend when we didn’t want to eat a lot but wanted to sit down and have a silent peaceful conversation over drinks, this was the perfect place for it! Sat here for almost 2 hours, not once pulled our our phones or anything just chatting and enjoying the wine and the cheese plate! The girls who pour the wine know their stuff, very knowledgeable! They had truffles but I wish they had some dark chocolate to go with along with the cheese plate !

We had a wonderful visit here! We shared a six pour flight with 3 whites for my husband and 3 reds for me! We both enjoyed all of our pours and I love that we got to pick our 3! We each had a difficult time picking just one bottle each to purchase! I decided on the Perfect Left Cabernet and my husband got the Feliz Noche Riesling! Clearly we are polar opposites in our wine preferences! Haha! Our lady was awesome… very knowledgeable… gave us all sorts of info on places around here and overall we had fun with her! We ended up returning later to purchase a couple of wine glasses to take back with us, and our service from the young man was awesome as well and our lady from earlier in the day ended up coming back out to see us, and was happy to do so! Overall, we loved it here and will definitely be back!

The widest selection of wines by the glass anywhere in California as far as I know! Over a thousand wines available by the glass. Staff is helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. A must stop for every wine lover visitng the Central Coast. International selection with a strong emphasis on the best producers in the Central Coast.

I liked this place. It was a little awkward when we entered though– we stood there for a while before anyone helped us or said anything to us. The only thing that would make me come back was the tastings variety. I did the red tasting and my partner did the half red and half white tasting. What came out of this was my new favorite red blend: 2012 Mistletoe from Rangeland Wines. I bought this for my parents and they absolutely love it too! Probably wouldn’t have found it if I hadn’t come here– it’s local to Paso Robles.
