Always friendly, they make the pizzas while you wait. The pizzas are great. Although I like the Antioch location better, this one is convenient on the way from Concord to Antioch via Kirker Pass and Buchanon. Tuesdays are particularly good with the sale on larges.

Just left about 30 minutes ago phoned in my order arrived to location. I see one couple standing at the counter where they assemble your pizza I’m. like cool no wait yeah boy was i mistaken anyway I walk up to the counter greet the clerk and he tells me he’s assisting another customer now he wasn’t on the phone no one standing in front of me so I’m thinking ok I step back and he’s not interacting with the only other customer in the store so finally I ask if my order is ready he takes a moment to go and check let’s me know it’s ready i continue to wait for the only other customer to decide what toppings he’d like this is ridiculous how many employees does it take to a pizza and is multi tasking too much I mean really it’s a pizza not rocket science

I love Papa Murphy’s Pizza — cheap, good sized, good selection. It turns out that there is Papa Murphy’s Pizza and there is Papa Murphy’s Pizza in Pittsburg. I normally go to a different location but I was at my friend’s house in Pittsburg, hence the decision to go to this location. The first step was calling in the order. Which seems simple and usually is. Call the store, they answer, you place your order… no, not with this Papa Murphy’s. I called and the phone rang over and over, no answer. I assumed that they were on another line or had stepped into the back, so I hung up and waited a few minutes before calling again. 3 more calls got the same result — no answer. I even wondered if I was calling the right number, the refrigerator magnet, website, and coupon all listed the same number but I couldn’t think of another reason why a store that is open until 9 would not answer their phone at a little bit after 7. So, me and my friend decided to drive down there and place the order in person. We ordered 3 pizzas — a pepperoni, a Hawaiian, and a vegetarian delite with white sauce. After stopping by the grocery store, we returned to pick up the pizzas and back to his house to bake them. When I picked up the Hawaiian pizza to bake it, the second to go into the oven, I saw a combination pizza sitting there. How did they mistake a pizza with marinara sauce, pepperoni, salami, and sausage for a meatless pizza with white sauce??? We didn’t have time to drive back to exchange the pizza for the right one. The next logical choice would have been to call and complain to a manager, both about the employees ignoring the phone and screwing up our order, but how do you call to make a complaint at a place that can’t be bothered to pick up their phone? Is it really that complicated to answer a phone or give customers the correct order? Apparently it is. BTW — when my friend had gone in to pick up our order, he noticed that their phone was ringing and overheard one employee telling another not to answer the phone, that it was 8:00 and they didn’t want to take any more orders. What professionalism.

Very impressed with my experience at this location. It was 8:15 p.m. and they were about to close in 15 min. We didn’t realize their closing time until we came in. The ingredients were all put away and the place was pretty empty but the employee there was still very friendly and accommodating with our order. We thought he’d be frustrated with us because all the ingredients were put away, but that was not the case. Really good service, friendly attitude, and tasty pizza. We ordered the veggie with chicken on top and a pepperoni. Would I return? Shoot, I’ve gone back twice! Of course I’d return!

Fast and pleasant service. Gloves were used while making my pizza and the veggie delite was delicious.

Worst location ever. Never answer their phone and they close earlier than any other Pappa Murphy’s around. They also don’t forward phones or put times on their answering machine. Everyone there is rude and customer service sucks.

I’ve been here at this location several times(over 10) and have had no problems, and food is always what I ask for and tastes great and the employees are always nice.

I ALWAYS have a positive experience at Papa Murphy’s. I was thrilled when I found out that this location was opening so close to my home. Any time I’m in a pinch for a dinner idea, I trust Papa Murphy’s to help me out.

I’ve had good experiances at this location. The waits are not bad, pizza is tasty and the prices are way reasonable. Only issue is there is almost no seating to sit down while you wait. There is one bench with space for 2 people. I hate standing while I’m waiting, and there I plenty of room! But they are still my first choice for take and bake pizza regardless of their seating shortage.

I take back my 5 star rating. They used to be excellent, good food, good service, treated well, but it seems a lot of the good employees left. Now we are stuck with the worst of the bunch. They are rude, dirty, food doesn’t taste good, their thick crust is super thin, the thin crust is paper thin, and their turn around time is up towards 30 min even when there is no one in the store.
