I have wandered around this Pottery Barn several times but have never purchased any items. I’m usually drawn to accessories such as picture frames or throws but really like to buy(even these smaller items) with some sort of discount or promotion. I have always been underwhelmed by the employees at this location as I have never been greeted or offered assistance while shopping at this store. Personally, my recommendation would be to adopt a more contemporary and modern aesthetic, drive down to Bakery Square, and shop in the superior in service and lesser in price sister store West Elm.

Oh, Pottery Barn, or as I like to think of it as, overpriced Pier 1. I’m thinking I’m not the only one that has ever walked in here to do nothing else but get ideas of things I can do in my home for far cheaper than what they are charging. I mean, I would buy something in here, but mostly as a gift for someone. I wasn’t impressed by this place in the least. No staff in sight to help if we actually needed it. The organization of the store somehow makes it hard to navigate in here. Like they were planning out an obstacle course so they could cram a ton of stuff in the store space. I’ll browse again, but I guarantee you I wouldn’t make a special trip to do so.

I have been a fan of Pottery Barn for a number of years. Every time I visit, I must touch and feel their incredible rugs. I am honestly thinking of putting hardwood flooring in my bedroom, just so I can get a Pottery Barn rug. I know that sounds crazy. It’s a great store to visit to get some decorating ideas and some fresh accessories. I love their lamps and light fixtures. I also love their holiday decorations. Another thing that I absolutely love is their bath towels. So soft. So big. So expensive. As a result, I have yet to actually buy any. I just stop by now and then to fondle them. But my favorite item that I own is a chenille throw, an animal print fur throw and velvet pillows.

Overall, Pottery Barn has a good product and I have generally been a fan for obvious reasons. Thank goodness for a couple of friendly staffers being there because the remainder of the staff has been useless more than once and on one occasion, confrontational.
