Maybe these bagels are the best in MA but as a visiting New Yorker I would say you are better off getting bagels from the grocery store around the block. Even my 7yr old was not impressed as she had to «rip» them w/her teeth(she will eat ANYTHING, even exotic foods & did not want 2 finish:(!!!We bought 2 bagels toasted w/flavored cream cheese & a strawberry milk(not even a coffee for myself) & it came 2 $ 13!!! Waste of time, $$, & food!!! True roll w/a hole –_–

There are so many positive reviews of Bagels Too, that I can only think that my definition of bagel is different than everyone else’s. The other people love this place and they have lots of variety. So, if what you read appeals to you, then go. I have two definitions of bagels. There is the New York style bagel that is like Essa Bagel, H&H Bagel and Stuff n Bagels on Long Island. These are dense, chewy and with a firm skin. The other kind is the Montréal bagel like St. Urbain. These are thin and from a wood fired oven. I love both and grew up on them. Bagels Too is something different. It is more like a bagel shaped roll that has some flavor, but no bagel texture. It is not for me.

Tasty! Fresh fresh fresh, good selection even though we came later in the morning. Bagels were great, cream cheese was great. The brownie was so-so but it’s called BAGELS Too, not brownies too. But maybe I got a dud! I like the vibe, it’s not very fussy, it’s real, the art is interesting to look at. It was dead when we were there which was great because we got helped right away. Had a small conversation with the nice woman behind the counter. We were probably a bit too chipper but we were excited for delicious bagels. The price was right, too. Will be going back again soon!

Big, delicious, satisfying bagels with a no nonsense vibe. I wish they had dairy free options for spread though. I’d be there every day.

Love this place! I have been going here for 20+ years and their bagels are the best. The cream cheeses are awesome too. Try a Cajun bagel toasted with olive and pimento cream cheese. Delicious and consistent you won’t be disappointed.

Yeah baby. These bagels are more than good. They’re gooooooood. Fresh, soft, not doughy, good varieties. Maybe it’s the water. Maybe it’s their recipe. Maybe it’s both.

Fantastic bagels! Light and fluffy, not chewy, so different in texture but definitely delicious. We had one egg and one dill(SO dil-y and fantastic) and I wish we’d bought more. We also met the owner, who is super-friendly and shares her home-grown tomatoes. I only wish we lived closer!

The bagels aren’t boiled, so they’re lighter and fluffier than an NYC style. I like the cajun, everything, onion, sesame, poppy, cinnamon raisin. They’re not like a San Francisco bagel, truly a unique style. I usually get a dozen, then freeze them whole. The day before I thaw them. I get fresh bagels at 6:30am. Otherwise they can run out of your favorites.

Classic and perfect, if I lived nearby I would hit this place nearly every day. Homemade bagels in plenty of varieties, my favorite toppings(lox, smoked salmon), and warm and wonderful service. Also, coffee was hot, bold with great flavor. Bought ½ dozen day-old bagels to take home, can’t wait to share with family. Next time I’m in town, headed straight there!

Hometown spot with friendly staff, really great coffee(I’m a snob) and serious bagels. Not just for locals!

Very sad experience. The service was absolutely awful. No smiles, no friendliness whatsoever. Got our order wrong and got snitty with us while correcting it. Woman who approached me asked, «AREYOUALLSET?!» Not, «Can I help you?» Geez. I ordered a hazelnut coffee and she slams the empty cup down with no explanation. Fortunately, I figured out that it could be self-serve and saw the bar behind me. Again, geez. All customers seemed shell-shocked, like it was the most miserable day of their lives. The bagels were fine, but the service soured the food. In fact, my daughter ordered a sandwich, expecting that it would come with lettuce and tomato. Shame on her — to assume that these basic condiments that are listed on the board as available as part of the sandwich would be included. Crazy kid!

converted me into a bagel lover. best thing next to fresh NY bagels. very friendly staff, and a rather casual environment.
