Jack In the Box

I popped into here whilst my car was at the dealership next door, although I kind of like jack in the box I have had a bad experience with them. lets start restaurant was clean tidy, staff were polite and nice. I ordered the ultimate breakfast sandwich combo (no21 I think it was). The food arrived very promptly and well laid out on the tray (lets be honest sometimes you go places and they just throw it on the tray at you). I had the coffee as my drink it was drinkable but to be honest not a lot of coffee flavor to it, could be improved upon. I have had worse, subway for once couldn’t swallow it so bad. The sandwich was tasty hot and enjoyable, I like the fact they leave taco sauce and ketchup satchets in little baskets on the tables and counter tops so you don’t have to keep getting up to find stuff. The hash brown unfortunately was not to good, very greasy, it ran down my fingers and slightly warm so did wonder if it had been refried to warm it up again.
Now I don’t want to run down this branch as I genuinely liked it, the layout with the condiments on the tables, the fact it was clean although counter tops were a bit sticky so I didn’t lean on them. The food was both good and bad.
The restroom I have to say for where it is was not to bad, been in a lot worse (home depot take note) but there was no paper towels to dry your hands and the machine looked like it died in a battle during the last star wars movie.
So there was good points but sadly some bad as well, shame as its location was perfect for when you go to the dealership with your car.
Maybe someone will actually read this and have a light bulb and say lets improve those points, I hope so as the way things are going I can see myself back at that dealership again soon.

I bought 2 burgers from here one was like rubber chicken and both had flaky buns they fell apart as soon as we bit into them. the burgers were gross!

I know… how many Jack in the Box restaurants can I review. The answer, probably all of them, although it’s unlikely. However, this one, in particular, was different, so I decided it was worth a mention here. The staff was friendly. Everything seemed sort of the same, but I liked that they have baskets of catsup and hot sauce out on the tables like Del Taco does. That was different. Then, they also had little plastic containers with jalapenos out on the counter for the taking. NEVER saw that before. For the weird things: I’m kind of a creature of habit and I usually eat the Ultimate Breakfast Croissant and here they TOASTED my croissant, which I now know is not my preference. the husband whined because he said he didn’t want cheese on his Jumbo Jack and they put it on, but that was mostly because he didn’t want to pay 30 cents. I told him to get over it.
My recommendation, do a major overhaul in the bathroom… it needs some help. Otherwise, it’s Jack.

I went through the drive thru of this garbage jack in the box! I ordered a number 6 and when I got to the window, they had no clue what I ordered! They thought I ordered a number 11 which is not even close! They then proceeded to accuse me of cutting in line! How the heck does a car cut in line first off? If anybody knows, please let me know, because apparently it’s a thing here! Instead of owning up to their mistake, they wanted to blame me instead! The customer is not always right here! In fact, they cut in drive thru lines! Suffice to say I will not be returning to this horrible jack in the box!

The girls working at this Jack in the Box location seemed to deliberately give me the wrong burger with my order. They gave me the new promotional burger with my combo and then laughed and sneered saying that a lot of people had been receiving those crappy promotional burgers with their order. The service was also slow and they missed another part of my very basic order. I will not be eating at this Jack in the Box location, and likely will not eat at any other Jack in the Box

Quick service, meals have never been missed and when you’re lucky you’ll get the cute drive thru girl

Just by simply washing the tables and picking up this pigsty, this place would would earn another star.
Do you want to know why in and out burgers is always busy? It’s because they clean the place that they’re guests sit at. This Jack-​in-​the-​Box doesn’t even think about it.
I think the only reason it’s busy is that people that frequent it don’t care about the mess inside.
Hire employees that care.

Service really depends on the day and worker. Very friendly staff, but slow service.
I often ordef #15 which is the teriyaki chicken which is surprisingly not too bad. The egg roll that also comes with it is also pretty good. The one down side would be the rice. It tastes slightly like gruel.
I also love the 2 tacos for a dollar. Satisfying after a night of fun or just when you’re starving from hunger but lack money!

This is one of the better Jack In The Boxes. Fresh remodeled interior. Right off the 91& 57 freeways. For jeepers like me, next to the don-​a-​vee jeep. Fun to window shop while you’re here! Great service at this one too!

Worst Jack in the Box ever! Went through the drive thru of this dirty looking Jack in the Box. Employees are rude, unprofessional and the food is usually cold. They don’t make the orders right and don’t bother complaining because they have the wrong corporate number on the wall in the store. Do not eat at this jack in the box!

Just did the drive thru, so what can I say? It moved fast, the order was right, the food was hot and the drink was cold. It saved us time by eating in the car driving out to Riverside again. The staff was friendly, all two that I encountered.
Good.

Four stars for a Jack. Yes.
For what a drive-​through burger spot attempts to do, this Jack really works. The value-​menu goods are particularly well prepared and flavorful, especially the Jumbo Jack and the curly fries. In fact, I don’t recall a time that the JJ didn’t thoroughly whomp the backsides of double-​doubles fron local In-​and-​Out sites. (Yes, I am the tiny child from «The Emperor’s New Clothes» when it comes to dining and shopping.)
With the one exception about four years ago of a surly young cashier who projected her hatred of her job 500 miles away, I’ve always found that this Jack’s customer service is consistently helpful and pleasant. Small wonder why this chick got her walking papers so soon.
If not for those terrible mystery-​meat tacos, I’d consider adding a half star for this Jack. But, hey, isn’t a four-​star rating pretty darned decent for a budget fast-​food location?

It’s a hit and miss with service at this location. Sometimes they are «Jack» on the spot and really quick. However today’s experience… sllllooooooowwwwww. I have had them forget items like fries or hash browns. Most of the time though, its standard service, and they follow Jack in the Box protocol to thank me and tell me they hope to see me again soon.

It was as expected, about average compared to other JIBs.

I ate here after a long drive from S. F to Anaheim so needless to say I was a bit cranky. It was the only place open but if was not that bad. The food was hot and fresh. Let’s no get carried away here I’m not ready to give this place a Michelin star but it did its job.

Ah good Ol’ Jack with his Tacos and Jumbo Jacks, I did not order the «JJ» but I did enjoy a tall cup of Iced Vanilla Coffee, It’s NOT bad at all considering It coming from a fast food joint. The four stars are for the location of this place, It’s located on the quiet corner of E Orangethorpe & Lakview Ave, It’s O SO VERY CLEAN and the staff are very nice and professional… that’s always a plus!
I really like how jack has touched up and modernized his chain of restaurants. with high bench chairs and black & white photographs of him doing something random.

After dancing my heart out, drinking my problems away, there is only one thing I wanna do before going to bed… TACOS.
Not just any tacos, Jack In the Box Tacos. I lived in GA for 4 years and they would advertise JITB but the closes one would be 3 hours away. When I came back to California, this place was the first one I hit up.
To my disappointment, they don’t have the Asain Chicken Salad anymore :(I’m still a fan of this place! Just a little sad…

I was one of those days at work…
Sauruman had sent his army of 10,000 thousand; fighting Uruk-​hai, black orks from the Iron Mts., wild-​men and Dunlanders at us and we had to hole up at Helm’s Deep.
They just kept attacking us, breaking down all our carefully planned defenses and strategies. Wave after wave after wave attacks.
We lost the bridge, the front gate, the main wall. The pushed us back until we had nothing but their spears at out throats.
And then a little reprise… and I made my way over to Jack in the Crack, starving like a muthuhf@#kuh!
Got me a Jumbo Jack w/​cheese Combo, curly fries and a 6-​piece chicken strip.
The first bite into the Jumbo Jack was like Gandolf coming over the rise with Erkenbrand and his 1,000 and the mysterious but deadly Huorns (which Jackson failed to do) to save us. My Jack in the Crack meal gave me the courage and energy to charge head on like Aragorn into the fray of battle and conquer the remaining work that was left of the day.
