Cafe Todami

Great coffee and atmosphere.
The owner roasts coffeebeans by herself.
Just have stopped by this place and I was wondering howcome this place is not well known.
Well, it appears this place is marked as closed on Unilocal… so I’d assume it is one of the reason
I’ve spoken with owner about PR and she said she is not too familiar with internet advertising like Unilocal.
Also she occasionally leaves town for a while because of family business, so I guess that is why this place got marked as closed…
Business hours are from 10 am to 4 or 5 pm…
Inside the shop is wonderful as well as the coffee.
Potteries displayed in the shop are hand-​made and are for sale in case you are wondering

Really unique coffee shop right outside of placerville. Havent seen much like it in the area. Had a very tasty latte while sitting outside in the large, nicely wooded and shady patio out back. wifi available and fast. Misty M summed up most everything very well. definitely coming back!

I might have to move to Placerville so I can make this my home away from home. Walked into a wonderful space for a quick iced coffee to go. Was a little more than I was expecting to spend, but the quality definitely made up for the extra buck. The inside is very big and comfortable with lots of seating, books, tons of stuff to look at on the walls and there were even two cute stuffed animals that my little one fell in love with. The coffee was excellent, and I know my coffee. I was totally impressed. Su, the owner was super friendly too. 5 stars…
Wait… it gets better… saw a patio out back so decided to check it out with my little dudes… I really wish I had brought my phone in with me at this point because the patio area was amazing! There were two structures that the owners had made from mud and glass bottles, tons of seating area, a little stage, bbq’s, little paths, lots of plants… it was so freaking cool. The energy was great & I quickly imagined hosting an event there, or a show, or having the place filled with smiling customers talking about good times had & good times to come.
Su, when and if you read this… thank you for the most memorable coffee experience I’ve ever had and the most awesome coffee shop I’ve ever been to. I wish you and your husband great prosperity and good fortune with Café Todami!

A very comfortable setting in earth tones surrounded by pottery, quaint furniture and beautiful, relaxing music in the background. My wife and I were very relaxed as we ate a sandwich and enjoyed excellent coffees.
