We’ve been terribly disappointed in the quality of most of the restaurants in this area, but we were happily surprised by Jessie’s Café. She has the best OJ ever, the breakfast burritos are terrific, and the steak and eggs are always cooked to perfection. It’s great to see a local restaurant keeping up their standards. If you have the chance, stop by for breakfast or lunch, or tacos on Fridays.

My husband and I have had breakfast here twice and enjoyed it immensely. The biscuits and gravy are the best I have had in ages. The bacon is thick sliced and fresh. The eggs are cooked to order. My husband had the special this morning, french toast topped with fresh strawberries. Again, excellent. She also serves expressos, which are hard to find in local cafes. They have Tacos on Friday nights, but we haven’t tried them yet. Prices are very reasonable.
