Every worker is very slow and very awkward when communicating with customers. Costumer service is probably a 2⁄10. Workers stand around and don’t try to help customers when they aren’t with anyone. I had to print one piece of paper and I had to wait 30 minutes for a worker to help me. This office max needs a major change. All of the staff should be replaced. No sense of urgency at all.

The few times I have gone to this Office Max I received very friendly assistance from all the staff. The last time I was there the female clerk with short hair was super nice, helpful and brightened my day.
They always send me coupons, have good deals on paper and with the rewards I get plus credits for recycling ink and toner the prices end up being pretty low.

I sent my very important portfolio to this location to be printed

3 last 17 pages perforated
I received none of these. The worst part was they didn’t even have the tolls to correct it so I was stuck with a product I could have made at home but instead paid $ 40 dollars for. I wouldn’t have even accepted it if I didn’t have to get it to the necessary parties this afternoon.
I understand that they switched from a new system 4 months ago but even after doing almost nothing I asked, I said it was supposed to be bled pages and they told me they’d fix it but that it would cost TWICE the price. Needless to say I am incredibly disappointed that something I spent weeks on ended up being such a shoddy product.

I don’t understand the bad reviews here. Office supplies and equipment, and help if you ask for it. I have always been treated kindly and efficiently. Sometimes they don’t have everything you need, but who does? I don’t think these mean spirited reviewers remember what it was like when we had no choices in this town.

Got there about five minutes before they were to close, but just needed one copy & a question answered. I waited in line behind 1 customer at the copy center. 3 minutes before closing time an employee was looking anxious and start rounding up customers and encouraging them to leave if they had not already found what they needed. He approached me and told me that whatever I needed could not be done today and to come back later. But I wouldn’t have been in line for service if one if the three clerks standing at the register chatting had come over to help the only employee that was working. So at 1 min til I was told to leave, then had to wait at the closed & gated door for three minutes until someone came to unlock it and let out.
Such bad customer service.

I’ve had good experiences and bad ones with the office max in Placerville. Today I decided to write a review because the bad customer service finally did it for me. I walked in to get a logo design and was not even greeted by the two staff members. I understand they were busy but the first and most important thing in customer service is to say hello and that someone will be with you in a moment. Then a lady who was waiting to make just one copy was ahead of me, wasn’t acknowledged at all and stormed off upset because nobody helped her. The office max clerk shouted sarcastically «have a nice day» and the two employees laughed. SO RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I felt sorry for the customer and I’m sure she won’t be back. They could’ve apologized and helped her, but instead they ridiculed her in front of a lot of other customers. If office max did some BASIC customer service training, their business would do a lot better. It’s always empty in there, now I know why.

Good friendly customer service oriented staff.
I went into the store to look for a lateral file cabinet, found the one I wanted, was approached by an employee who asked if I needed help. He grabbed the cabinet from the back warehouse, brought it to the front so I could make my purchase and helped me load the cabinet in my car.
